'Don't say whatever Benny said': Aaron Ekblad just gave us the funniest speech intro of the Stanley Cup parade
(Image via Getty)
The Florida Panthers' Stanley Cup celebration has already given us some absolute gold (see: Sam Bennett's 'I'd like to apologize to absolutely f***ing no one' moment), but Aaron Ekblad might've just stolen the show with one of the best
openers
of the day.
Aaron Ekblad's savage callback to Bennett's wild speech had fans cracking up
'After E11even, my agent called me and said, 'Don't say whatever Benny said.''
That was the first thing Ekblad said when he grabbed the mic and the crowd (and internet) instantly knew this was about to be a speech worth remembering.
In case you missed it, 'E11even' refers to Club E11even, the infamous Miami nightclub where the Panthers clearly celebrated hard the night before.
And 'Benny'? That's Sam Bennett, who went full WWE during his speech with:
'I would like this time to apologize… to absolutely fing no one. We're the double champs—we do what the f we want!'
So when Ekblad stepped up and hit us with:
'My agent told me not to say whatever Benny said,' he instantly became the calm, hilarious contrast and fans were obsessed with it.
Fans couldn't get enough of Aaron Ekblad's mic moment
The quote spread like wildfire online, with NHL fans loving how real and unfiltered it felt. A few highlights from social media:
It was the kind of quote that makes you pause, laugh, and realize these guys are just like us except, you know, holding the Stanley Cup.
The Panthers parade gave us drama, laughs, and total chaos
This Cup celebration might go down as one of the most chaotic and iconic NHL championship parades ever. Between Sam Bennett's villain energy, Ekblad's hilarious self-censorship, and the team just fully leaning into the Miami madness, it's been a wild ride from start to finish.

In the middle of the champagne showers and shirtless speeches, Aaron Ekblad gave us exactly what we didn't know we needed: a behind-the-scenes glimpse into how wild these parades get and how even agents are out here playing defense.

AFC on Alert: Kansas City Chiefs still cast the longest shadow in the conference
Chiefs AFC win analysis (Image via LAPRESSE) While the rest of the AFC reloads for a title push, the Kansas City Chiefs remain the team no one wants to face when it matters. Their recent Super Bowl stumble hasn't shaken their grip on the conference. With elite talent and proven leadership, the Chiefs aren't just surviving—they're still dominating. As training camps approach, the gap remains wider than rivals would like to admit. NFL Network analysts point to leadership, depth, and dynasty DNA NFL Network's Good Morning Football featured former running back Rashad Jennings, who emphasized why KC still rules the AFC. 'Patrick Mahomes, they have Andy Reid, Travis Kelce is still there, they're bringing back healthy receivers—in short, yes,' he said. Jennings added, 'They're the best team, they've built a dynasty, they made the Super Bowl last year—that's the only thing they could have done besides win.' That belief is echoed across NFL circles. The Chiefs enter the 2025 season with a roster that looks battle-ready and refreshed. Their receiving corps is recovering well, and with rookies and veterans stepping up, the offense could be even faster than last year. Jaylon Moore and Josh Simmons are projected to boost the O-line, offering more protection for Mahomes. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo When Kansas City retools, they do it with precision and purpose. AFC challengers like Bills, Ravens, and Bengals still fall short It's not that Buffalo, Cincinnati, or Baltimore lack star power—it's that Kansas City continues to outperform when it counts. Despite playoff hype, none of these contenders have ousted the Chiefs over the last three postseasons. Mahomes continues to be the postseason's most reliable weapon, thriving under pressure and producing wins. Defensively, Kansas City retains its aggressive identity, and continuity in coaching gives them an edge over younger, reshuffled staffs. Their culture, chemistry, and experience create a barrier others can't yet cross. While other AFC teams hope to close the gap, Kansas City is already building toward another February run. And according to the NFL Network, no one has earned the right to claim their throne. Image via WWE WWE is moving fast-paced towards its next major Premium Live Event, Night of Champions, taking place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. One of the prime highlights at the event will be the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. For weeks, the competition was going on in full force. As the dust settled on this week's edition of Monday Night RAW, the finals were set in stone to crown the new King and Queen of the Ring this year. WWE Night of Champions will see the coronation of the King and Queen of the Ring The first semi-finals of the King and Queen of the Ring culminated at last week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown. On the women's side, it was Asuka who outlasted Alexa Bliss to advance in the tournament. On the other hand, Randy Orton defeated Sami Zayn to once again secure a spot in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament, much like he did last year. On this week's episode of RAW, the second semi-finals of the tournaments took place. In the first hour of the show, it was Jade Cargill who competed against Roxanne Perez. The NXT standout displayed a valiant effort against the much bigger Cargill, and both women delivered a spectacular showdown. As the dust settled, The Storm planted Perez with a thunderous Jaded to pick up the win. As the show progressed, it was time for the blockbuster match between close allies, Main Event Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes, in their semi-final bout. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Homburg: GEERS sucht 700 Testhörer für Hörgeräte ohne Zuzahlung GEERS Undo The duo threw their friendship out the window and hit each other with every heavy move in their arsenal. When Karisma Kapoor walked out after a performance on Kareena's song — Here's what really happened
Karisma Kapoor shares one of the strongest sisterly bonds in Bollywood with Kareena Kapoor Khan. From partying together to supporting each other through life's ups and downs, the two have always been pillars of strength for one another. So, when a throwback video surfaced showing Karisma getting unexpectedly emotional on the sets of India's Best Dancer during a performance to one of Kareena's iconic songs, fans were left truly stunned. During the shoot, two contestants took the stage to perform on 'Roshni Se', the sensual track from Asoka featuring Kareena and Shah Rukh Khan . It started like any other act, but as the performance went on, Karisma's expression slowly changed. She seemed rather unsettled, even uncomfortable. Moments later, without saying a word, she stood up and quietly walked off the judging panel. The sudden exit left everyone on set, and later, online, completely puzzled. Was it the choreography? The vibe of the song? Or something more personal? Back on stage, her co-judges Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis looked visibly concerned. Even Sajid Khan , who was present as a guest, was left speechless. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Perdagangkan CFD Emas dengan Broker Tepercaya IC Markets Mendaftar Undo Turning to the contestants, he asked, 'Aisa kya bol diya?' trying to piece together what could've triggered Karisma's walkout. Fans also took to their handles with questions and theories suggesting that it was the song's emotional tone that possibly brought back memories. Others suggested, "Or maybe the performance just hit too close to home?" Kareena was spotted over the weekend, attending Karisma's ex-husband Sunjay Kapur's funeral in Delhi.
