At Rayachoti, District Collector Sridhar Chamakuri launched the mass event with 5,000 participants. He lauded the the residents for making the district stand as number one in the State in the Yogandhra rankings. The Collector urged the public to adopt yoga as a daily habit for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The officials arranged a live telecast of the Visakhapatnam State-level celebrations at the venue.
Meanwhile, hundreds of people took part in the Yogandhra celebrations at the NTR Stadium in Kuppam of Chittoor district. The Kuppam Area Development Authority Project director Vikas Marmath, along with senior officials, inaugurated the event.
He thanked the people of the Kuppam Assembly Constituency for making the event's finale memorable in the Chief Minister's constituency.

17-year-old para-athlete gets a prosthetic arm
Annamayya District Collector Sridhar Chamakuri sanctioned funds for para-athlete H. Shivani to get a prosthetic arm following an appeal by her. Shivani, an intermediate student representing the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Madanapalle, was born without a right arm. She bagged several gold medals in Shot-put and Javelin-Throw events held in Bangkok, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru in recent months, besides showing her might at the National para-athletics. In recognition of her outstanding talent and perseverance, the Collector accepted her appeal by sanctioning ₹21,000, besides an additional ₹39,000 from the District Disability Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC) and Darshini Handicapped Welfare Society. The prosthetic limb was facilitated under the supervision of the Department for the Welfare of Differently Abled, Transgenders, and Senior Citizens. The initiative was grounded at the 'Praja Samasya Parishkara Vedika' (PGRS) at the Collectorate on Monday. Mr. Chamakuri said that the government would always be at the forefront to support and empower talented students like Shivani. He congratulated her and wished her good luck in academics and sports. Shivani observed that the support extended by the Collector would go a long way in balancing her studies and athletic career.
