Report – Genoa & Feyenoord Stars Shore Up Inter Milan Shortlist Of Targets To Strengthen Defense

Genoa's Koni De Winter and Feyenoord's David Hancko are the main backup options on Inter Milan's list of defensive targets. This according to today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. One of the remaining priorities for Inter Milan this summer is to sign a defender. The Nerazzurri are keen to lay the groundwork for the future of their backline considering the ages of key players like Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi. And there is no question who Inter's top target is. Parma defender Giovanni Leoni is nineteen years of age, and Inter fully believe that he has all the qualities to be their future in defense. However, negotiations with Parma for Leoni will not be easy. The Emilian club don't want to sell the teenager, whilst their valuation would be at least €40 million. De Winter & Hancko Shore Up Inter List Of Defensive Targets Therefore, the Gazzetta dello Sport report, Inter are also working on a couple other fronts. One possible target in defense for the Nerazzurri would be Genoa's Koni De Winter. The former Juventus defender has enjoyed an excellent season with Genoa. Therefore, he has convinced Inter that he has the right qualities for their back three. The Grifone would demand a fee of €25-30 million to sell De Winter this summer. Meanwhile, the Gazzetta report, Inter have also identified Feyenoord defender David Hancko as a target. The Dutch giants would demand a fee of around €25-30 million for the 28-year-old, similar to what Genoa want for De Winter.

Report – Inter Milan Hope To Cash In €45M From Four Player Sales

This according to today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via . Inter Milan have already made three big signings this summer. They've brought in Petar Sucic, Luis Henrique, and Ange-Yoan Bonny. Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri are hardly slowing down on that front. They are reportedly pushing for big money deals for Ademola Lookman and Giovanni Leoni. However, Inter have been much less busy when it comes to deals in the other direction. Inter Targeting €45M In Fees For Taremi, Buchanan, Stankovic & Asllani Now, Inter Milan must get down to business offloading some fringe players from their squad. Amine Adli: "It's not easy for me"

Bayer Leverkusen have said goodbye to three key figures this summer - Jeremie Frimpong, Jonathan Tah, and Florian Wirtz. More than just important performers on the pitch, the trio also held significant influence within the dressing room. Their departures have hit Amine Adli hard on a personal level, as the three were among his closest friends in the squad. 'In the first weeks of pre-season, I really feel it. I miss them a lot. Because, as everyone knows, I was very close with Jerry, Jona, and Flo. It's not easy for me now, but I have new teammates,' Adli told Bild, adding: 'I'm very happy for the three of them because they wanted to go where they are now. It's great for them. I think they've made a very good step. I wish them all the best because they are my brothers. That's part of football. I will always look out for them. When I have time, I'll visit them or they'll come visit us. We'll always stay in contact.' Looking ahead, Adli also shared his plans for the season: 'First, I want to finish the training camp and play the game on Friday against Flamengo's U20. I am 100 percent here. I need a full season to find my rhythm again. It's very important for me to find my happiness. I want to be a very important player for the team and the club. This season is very important to me. I want to have a big impact on the team and play as much as possible.'
