Russia, U.S. to Hold New Round of Consultations on Normalizing Relations
Russian Ambassador to United States (U.S.) Anatoly Antonov, said on Saturday that a new round of consultations between Russia and U.S. on normalizing bilateral relations is scheduled to take place soon.
Antonov confirmed, in remarks carried by the Russian news agency TASS today, that the upcoming round of talks on normalizing relations between Moscow and Washington will be held in the near future.
U.S. Embassy in Moscow had earlier stated that the American side is ready for the next round of discussions and considers them constructive.
The previous two rounds of consultations were held in Istanbul on February 27 and April 10.
It is worth mentioning that the Alaska summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin concluded last night without announcing a comprehensive agreement regarding the war in Ukraine.

Egypt's Population Reaches 108 Million: CAPMAS
Taarek Refaat Egypt's domestic population has officially surpassed 108 million, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS). The figure, announced Saturday, reflects an increase of one million people since November 2, 2024, when the population stood at 107 million. CAPMAS noted that the new million was added in 287 days, or nine months and 17 days, compared to 268 days for the previous million and 250 days for the million before that, indicating a gradual slowdown in the pace of population growth. The agency attributed the trend to a decline in daily birth averages. During the most recent period, Egypt recorded about 5,165 births per day, down from 5,385 in the preceding million increase, and 5,599 in the million before that. Between November 2024 and mid-August 2025, Egypt registered 1.482 million births, the equivalent of 215 births per hour, or 3.6 births per minute, meaning one new child is born every 16.7 seconds. The announcement comes amid government efforts to address population growth, which officials have long described as a central challenge to Egypt's development goals. Earlier this month, CAPMAS also reported that the country's unemployment rate dropped to 6.1% in the second quarter of 2025, suggesting a gradual improvement in labor market dynamics despite persistent demographic pressures. read more CBE: Deposits in Local Currency Hit EGP 5.25 Trillion Morocco Plans to Spend $1 Billion to Mitigate Drought Effect Gov't Approves Final Version of State Ownership Policy Document Egypt's Economy Expected to Grow 5% by the end of 2022/23- Minister Qatar Agrees to Supply Germany with LNG for 15 Years Business Oil Prices Descend amid Anticipation of Additional US Strategic Petroleum Reserves Business Suez Canal Records $704 Million, Historically Highest Monthly Revenue Business Egypt's Stock Exchange Earns EGP 4.9 Billion on Tuesday Business Wheat delivery season commences on April 15 Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News The Jessica Radcliffe Orca Attack? 100% Fake and AI-Generated

US Suspends Visitor Visas for Individuals from Gaza
Israa Farhan The United States announced on Saturday the suspension of all visitor visas for individuals arriving from Gaza. The US State Department posted on X that all visitor visas for people from Gaza have been halted. The department added that the decision comes amid a full and comprehensive review of the processes and procedures used to issue a limited number of visas for medical and humanitarian purposes in recent days. According to an analysis of monthly figures published on the US State Department website, more than 3,800 B1 and B2 visitor visas, which allow foreigners to receive medical treatment in the US, were issued to holders of travel documents from the Palestinian Authority. Reuters reported that this included 640 visas issued in May. The move follows remarks on social media by far-right activist Laura Loomer, an ally of former President Donald Trump, on Friday. The decision comes as Gaza faces a severe humanitarian crisis. The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights reported on Friday that at least 1,760 Palestinians were killed while waiting for aid in Gaza in late May. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News The Jessica Radcliffe Orca Attack? 100% Fake and AI-Generated
