As per a report by 123Telugu, Upasana, during an interview, shared a funny backstory. She revealed that the '200' isn't just a random number. In fact, it's because Ram Charan has changed his mobile number exactly 200 times over the years.
The entrepreneur-philanthropist recalled how the contact name became a running joke between them. She mentioned that each time her husband changed his number, she would dutifully update it in her phone.
"Now, it's not just Ram Charan… it's Ram Charan 200," she said.
A sweet love test
Upasana Konidela recently shared a charming story on Curly Tales about a playful "love test" she once gave Ram Charan during their early dating days. She recounted how, living near Hyderabad's Old City, she challenged Ram Charan to take her to the famous ice cream shop located in the market area. At that time, Ram Charan was already a big star, recognised by many, so going there meant braving crowds and a lot of attention.
Ram Charan agreed without hesitation, and they went on their ice cream date despite the inevitable fan chaos that followed them. Upasana described this outing as the true test of his love, which Ram Charan passed with flying colors.
Upcoming film
On the work front, Ram Charan is gearing up for his next big release, 'Peddi', directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The movie is a sports drama in which the 'RRR' star will be seen in a rugged and muscular look. The film stars
as the female lead and also includes Shiva Rajkumar and Divyendu Sharma in key roles.

War 2 Twitter Reviews: Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer opens to MIXED reviews; audiences hail first half, say film is 'Not great, not bad - Strictly MID'
The much-awaited War 2 has finally been released in cinemas around the world, and fans of leading stars Hrithik Roshan with Jr NTR can't keep calm. Fans around the globe got together to celebrate the film's release by rushing to theatres to catch the early shows of the pan-India spy spectacle directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film that was touted to be one of the biggest cinematic events of the year, got a hero's welcome with some fans lining up as early as 4 am on Thursday morning to catch the screening. Some others even fired off crackers and conducted pooja ceremonies outside the theatres to celebrate its fan excitement was sky-high, early Twitter reviews reveal a mixed bag — with praise for the action and star power, but criticism over the storyline, pacing, and execution. Within hours of its release, Twitter was flooded with posts from moviegoers sharing their first impressions. Many fans praised the film's action-packed first half, admitting, "Very Good First Half." Several praised the engaging pace and larger-than-life moments, particularly the whistle-worthy entry scenes. A fan enthused, 'Coolie will get a tough competition! #War2 is a clean Block Buster! What a dance, screen dominance of NTR.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Kate Middleton's Daring Outfit Took Prince William's Breath Away Crowdy Fan Undo Others appreciated the film's grand scale and buildup. However, a section of the audience pointed out that while the first half was gripping, the second half felt comparatively weaker, with pacing issues and predictable plot turns. Some even summed up their experience with the blunt verdict saying, '#War2 is a strictly mediocre action thriller, leaning heavily on style over substance! The storyline is somewhat different from the previous spy universe films, which had potential but wasn't able to fully capitalize on it. ' Another summarised their experience as, 'An okayish action entertainer. Not great, not bad either – strictly MID. Note: NTR fans should keep their expectations in check. There are moments where you whistle, but there are moments that will frustrate you.' Another claimed that the film's plot was 'recycled' saying, "War 2 is a recycled, same-old template with no genuine highs or enjoyable moments between the leads in a lengthy runtime. Overall it's a disappointing action film in YRF series after Tiger 3." Still another added, "good back story, but story falls flat & predictable. Lacks emotional connect." Some outright disliked the film, calling out the over-the-top action, and 'wasted' potential of a Hrithik and Jr NTR collab. One said, "The movie feels like small ads of mountain dews stitched together with no screenplay, poor editing, Few cringeworthy dialogues, laughable action sequences twists which can be seen from miles, one expression acting by # disappointment from #RRR star! The action scenes are so bad,it feels embarassing ( B2 Bomber scene was worst). ..so far just Hritik all the much awaited #JanaabeAali is worst song from movie so far! Unintentionally funny with average choreography!!!" Another said, "A rare North–South star combo wasted. NTR is utterly underused, the plot is template, action is bland, and execution is weak—leaving audiences walking out dissatisfied." "War 2 is terrible," said another and added, "The film starts really well and is very engaging till they force the dance sequence out of nowhere. The film is completely derailed out of track just before the 15 mins to interval. It's all downhill after that." Fans of both stars, however, continue to defend the film's larger-than-life scale, its stylish cinematography, and the thrill of seeing two powerhouse performers share the screen. "Just watched War 2 here in California. I must say it's an excellent movie with all actors acting great & the story was awesome with lots of twists & turns. CGI was not the best, but everything else was just good vibes, good story. Fun & paisa vasool," said another viewer. Another claimed that the film "Opens new horizons for Spy Universe." The fan went on to add, "Nothing forced staying exceptionally true to story! Twists that keep you entertained to end and beyond. Action larger than life, scale grandest! Music surreal. Locations breathtaking. Entertainment to the core. Builds up." War 2 sees Hrithik reprise his role as Kabir, a RAW agent with a turbulent past, now facing off against elite operative Vikram, played by Jr NTR. The globe-trotting narrative promises espionage, betrayal, and explosive action sequences — hallmarks of the Spy Universe. Kiara Advani , Ashutosh Rana, and Anil Kapoor also play pivotal roles.

Rajinikanth's 'Coolie' shatters records, earns Rs 100 crore in advance bookings, becomes the biggest opening for an Indian movie through pre-release sales, beating Ram Charan's 'Game Changer'
Rajinikanth is back and how! The legendary actor who has completed 50 years in cinema is back with a film to woo his fans. Titled 'Coolie' the film releasing on August 14, also starring Nagarjuna Akkineni, Soubin Shahir, Aamir Khan, Shruti Haasan is clashing with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR 's 'War 2'. This is one of the biggest clashes one has ever seen and there have been many clashes around Independence day. At the moment, it looks like 'Coolie' is dominating over 'War 2' when it comes to the advance ticket sales. But once the films releases, word of mouth will play a huge role in how both he films sustain in India and worldwide. 'Coolie' which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj has already made Rs 100 crore gross worldwide in the advance ticket sales which is huge. With this, it has smashed the record of Ram Charan's 'Game Changer' and become the biggest opening for an Indian movie through advance booking, according to Sacnilk. This Ram Charan starrer had made Rs 80 crore in advance ticket sales from worldwide gross. Meanwhile, when it comes to Tamil movies, the total first day number of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' was Rs 143 crore. 'Coolie' has already collected Rs 100 crore in advance sales. The numbers coming from the current bookings on August 14 may be even higher. With that, the film may eventually shatter that record of Day 1 collection of 'Leo' and become the highest grossing first day Tamil movie. On the other hand, 'War 2' has earned Rs 16 crore gross so far when it comes to the advance ticket sales and thus, it's far behind 'Coolie' at the moment, but the film may eventually pick up with spot bookings. A lot will depend on word of mouth. But it may perform well in the Telugu states with JR NTR's presence who is a big star there. Though, even in the Telugu states, Rajinikanth's 'Coolie' may serve a huge competition.

War 2 box office prediction day 1: Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR's spy thriller may earn nearly Rs 60 crore in India
War 2 box office prediction day 1: War 2 is set to hit the screens on August 14 much to the delight of fans. The spy thriller has created a buzz among fans as it is a sequel to War (2019) and marks RRR star Jr NTR's Bollywood debut. These factors are likely to help it open on a good, but not excellent, start at the Indian box office. War 2 is expected to open well Hrithik Roshan's War 2 is set to open to an encouraging response at the Indian box office on Thursday, August 14. According to Rohit Jaiswal, a trade analyst, the day 1 figure will be around Rs 60 crore (nett) across languages. 'War 2 should do around Rs 60 crore nett in India across all languages tomorrow. This, naturally, includes the South versions as feel,' he told Indiatimes. If this prediction holds, War 2 will outperform War. The 2019 release, which was directed by Siddharth Anand, earned Rs 53 crore in the country on the first day. It will also open better than Vikram Vedha, Duggu's last release. The gangster drama earned only Rs 10.58 crore in India on the first day, according to Sacnilk. Moreover, War 2 will also beat Tiger 3 (~ 44 crore), which too is part of the Yash Raj Films Spyverse. What is the trade saying about War 2 War 2 has garnered attention because of its star power. However, Jaiswal feels that it would have made a stronger impact had the trailer and the songs clicked with the audience. 'The trailer was mid and songs too were not as good as expected. The first part had a track like Jai Jai Shiv Shankar, which is missing here. Given the brand and star power the opening could have been higher,' he added. War 2 will be facing stiff competition from Rajnikanth's Coolie. Going by the current trade predictions, it is likely to collect around Rs 5 crore in Hindi alone. The Tamil gangster drama is expected to be the top choice of the audience in the home state. However, it may end up spring a surprise in Hindi too if the word-of-mouth is positive. About War 2 War featured Hrithik as a rogue agent and explored his dynamics with his 'friend', played by Tiger Shroff. War 2 has a similar plot with Jr NTR joining HR as his nemesis. Kiara Advani is the leading lady. Her bold look in War 2 has broken the internet. The Ayan Mukerji-helmed flick is a part of the 'Spyverse' alongside War, Pathaan, the Tiger franchise, and Alpha.
