Caitlin Clark didn't get to explore Boston much, but it's safe to say she likes the Celtics' style
'I think, for myself, the Celtics [are] one of the premier organizations of the NBA. You always grow up knowing what the Celtics are about, and obviously, having won a championship two years ago now, it's kind of cool to just be in this building and … surround yourself with the greatness that has played in this arena.'

Clark shouted out a few players — Jayson Tatum, Derrick White, and Jaylen Brown, the latter of whom was among the sold-out crowd of 19,156.

'They shoot a lot of threes, which, maybe people make an argument against, but for myself, I think that's fun,' she said. (Sounds like Joe Mazzulla would be a Clark fan.)
'I enjoy that, I think it's a great style of basketball. So, I think anytime you come into an arena and there's just so much history hanging from the rafters, you certainly look up and soak it in.'
Clark and the Fever flew into Boston after their win Sunday over the Wings in Dallas, so she didn't have much time to explore the city before preparing for Indiana's eventual 85-77 win over Connecticut. She and teammate Lexi Hull ate at Earl's Kitchen + Bar near their hotel in the Back Bay, but Clark 'didn't really get to do a ton.'

Clark checked the Red Sox schedule to see if they were in town and she struck out. MLB is on its All-Star break.

'I would have loved to go to a Red Sox game and seen Fenway. I guess I could have gone to Fenway and looked at it with no people in it, but I didn't do that,' she joked.
She said she'd like to come back and explore Boston's history.
'I honestly was on TikTok, [searching] the best things to do in Boston, just so I can see even though I'm not going to do them. And I think that's what's fun about going to these new places in these new cities, you get to experience the culture and the people that are here too.'

And now you have Mike Brown coming in and no offense in Sacramento, and this isn't even like Cleveland back in 2008 or 2009. Uh, and I think he's a really good coach, but basically trying to instill, you know, who, what are they gonna be? Are they going to be the Sacramento team from three years ago, or they're going to be that Cleveland team, that was really good defensively when LeBron was around? Josh Hart undergoes procedure on ring finger, expected to return to Knicks basketball activities this summer
New York Knicks wing Josh Hart needed surgery for a finger injury he suffered during the playoffs, the team announced Wednesday. Hart underwent a procedure on his right ring finger, but the Knicks expect him to resume basketball activities later this summer. Hart just completed his second full season with the Knicks. Before eventually coming off the bench for New York in the Eastern Conference finals, Hart was an everyday Knicks starter last season. He got the nod for the team's starting five in all 77 of his regular-season games, averaging 13.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.5 steals in a league-leading 37.6 minutes per game. ESPN insider reveals honest projection for Thunder guard Nikola Topić
After missing all of last season with a knee injury, guard Nikola Topić has impressed in a limited sample size in summer league with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Topić debuted in the Salt Lake City Summer League earlier this month, averaging 10.7 points, 4.3 assists, three rebounds and two steals in three appearances. He is posting a similar average through three games in Las Vegas, Nevada: 11 points, 7.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals. The 12th pick in the 2024 NBA draft was highly touted out of Crvena zvezda in the ABA League. He may have been projected to be selected even higher had he come out this year, a scout recently told ESPN front office insider Bobby Marks. "This was after the Utah Summer League ... I had a scout tell me (Topić) would have been a top-five pick in this year's draft," Marks recalled Tuesday on ESPN. Topić was sidelined after undergoing surgery to repair a torn left ACL suffered while playing in the ABA League Finals on May 13, 2024. He made steady progress throughout the year with the team medical staff and was cleared to debut with the Thunder in Utah. The 19-year-old was the 2024 ABA League Top Prospect, averaging 15.1 points, 5.9 assists and 3.2 rebounds on 50.5% shooting from the field. He joined the likes of Nikola Jokić, Goga Bitadze and Nikola Jović as past award recipients. The Thunder appear to have identified another player who can contribute in the rotation for coach Mark Daigneault. The organization has been successful in the draft and seems to have secured its core long-term after claiming its first championship.
