GDRFA Dubai Launches Second Phase of Ideal Face Initiative
Under the slogan 'This is the Dubai We Want,' the campaign aims to highlight positive behaviour among citizens, residents, and travellers. Inspired by the words of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the initiative encourages individuals to serve as ambassadors of Dubai's welcoming spirit.
Running both on-ground and online, the campaign centres around an interactive booth at Dubai International Airport's Terminal 3, where commendable behaviour will be acknowledged with thank-you cards bearing the message, 'The Ideal Face – This is the Dubai We Want.' A digital platform complements the effort by showcasing stories and collecting pledges under the hashtag #YouAreTheIdealFace. 'The 'Ideal Face' is not just a title — it reflects the values we uphold,'
said Major General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, Deputy Director-General of GDRFA Dubai. 'A simple gesture can have a profound impact.'
The first phase of the initiative drew over 10,000 pledges and recognised more than 30,000 positive actions, reaching an audience of over 61 million. The current phase will run from July 1 to 13, 2025, inviting the public to share meaningful, human-centred moments that reflect the true spirit of Dubai.
