'When you have a feeling, you have a feeling,' he told Sky Sports. 'There is a lot going on in the background that is not great.'
Asked if he had fallen out of love with racing, Hamilton replied: 'No, I still love the team.'
Hamilton then headed for his session with the print media.
Quizzed on how he felt a day on from being eliminated in Q2 – a performance made all the more harrowing after Leclerc took pole position, he replied: 'Same.'
Put to him that his remarks suggesting that Ferrari 'need a new driver' would worry his fans, the British driver again replied: 'Same.'
Asked if he had anything else to say other than 'the same', Hamilton said: 'I have got nothing else to say.'

The sport now breaks for three weeks for its mid-season shutdown. The next race takes place in the Netherlands on August 31.
'Very much so,' said Hamilton, who was then asked if he was looking forward to the summer break. Quizzed as to whether he will definitely be driving at the next round in Zandvoort, Hamilton replied: 'I look forward to coming back… Hopefully I will be back, yeah.'
Hamilton has won a record eight times at the Hungaroring but this has been an alarming weekend for the 40-year-old.
Hamilton stood largely on his own for the drivers' parade, which takes place before every race, and was later accompanied by Italian rookie Kimi Antonelli.
By the end of the first lap, he dropped behind Carlos Sainz and Antonelli and was 14th. At the end of the eighth lap, he was 20 seconds behind Leclerc, then leading, in the other Ferrari, and at the end of lap 14 he trailed his team-mate by half a minute.
When he left the pits on lap 43 for his sole change of tyres, Hamilton was a lap down on the leaders. Hamilton fought back past Alpine's Pierre Gasly and then Sainz to cross the line in 12th.
However, he is 42 points behind Leclerc, has been out-qualified by his team-mate at 10 of the 14 rounds, beaten him in only two races, at Imola and Silverstone, and is still awaiting his first podium in Ferrari colours.

But Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff, who oversaw six of Hamilton's record-equalling seven titles, said: 'Lewis is wearing his heart on his sleeve.
'It was very raw what he said. He was hard on himself. We have seen it before when he felt he had not met his own expectations. He's been that emotionally transparent since he was a young adult.
'But he is the GOAT. He will always be the GOAT. And nobody is going to take it away for any single weekends or a race season that hasn't gone to plan. That is something he always needs to remember – that he is the greatest of all time.'
Hamilton's Ferrari boss Fred Vasseur added: 'I don't need to motivate him (Hamilton). He is frustrated but not demotivated, that is a different story. I can perfectly understand the situation.'

Cronulla star Sione Katoa is flying high in 2025, but the hulking winger has revealed he struggled for money so badly early in his NRL career that he had to collect cans and bottles for recycling just to make ends meet. Katoa, born in Hamilton, NZ, has played on the wing for the Sharks at NRL level since 2018, making 120 appearances and scoring 79 tries. Internationally, he represented Tonga between 2022–24 and in the 2019 Rugby League World Cup 9s, earning four Test caps and three appearances in the 9s tournament. His journey to the NRL began when he was just six years old and his family moved to Australia, setting roots in Sydney's west in Granville. Katoa was always the naturally gifted one amongst his friends in Sydney, dominating basketball contests that would stretch until 1am at the local youth centre because they had 'nothing better to do'. 'The youth centre days were some of the best, most fun days I've had in my life,' he said. 'If I did go to school, that's where I would be after. If I didn't go to school, that's where I would be. If I didn't go to school, it was because I would stay until 12 or 1 in the morning playing basketball. 'I can honestly say that place helped me a lot, looking back now.' It helped them stay on the rails in a tough environment, with many of their peers living on the street, getting involved with drugs and facing a bleak future. Eventually, Katoa's athletic talents were noticed by the Cronulla Sharks, and he was offered a minimum wage contract to start in 2018 when he was just 20 years old. 'Coming through I didn't think "I want to play NRL", it just slowly happened,' he said. 'I enjoyed it, I had fun and that's how I got there.' However, his rags-to-riches story didn't quite play out that way in the beginning. While Katoa grew up poor and humble, he now had a young family to feed and the first contract he signed with the Sharks didn't go far in the gentrified Shire. Once a surfer's hangout, Cronulla became a coastal paradise with luxury homes lining the foreshore, and Katoa spoke about what he needed to do just to make ends meet after leaving Sydney's inner west for the Shire. 'I got married young,' he told the Bros and Cons podcast, hosted by friends he has known since childhood. 'Because I got my wife pregnant. In the Tongan culture, we got married. 'So we had a little wedding and then we had a newborn and then I had to move into the Shire.' That was the moment Katoa realised the road to the NRL was not paved with gold. 'It was my first time moving out of home,' he said. 'At that time, my contract was not that much. The minimum was about $60k [a year] or something. 'When you move to the Shire, you've got to pay rent, bills and all these [expenses].' Katoa quickly realised that the $60,000 contract was not going to stretch far enough once all those bills were factored in. 'There was a time I had to collect the 10-cent bottles [for recycling].' It would have been a strange sight for locals, to see a towering Tongan NRL star walking the streets and collecting rubbish for money. So he collected the bottles and cans under the cover of darkness. 'I would wait until Tuesday nights, that was bin night,' Katoa said. 'I would wait until it gets dark. So that is what I was doing that time when it got hard. 'In Cronulla, there is a lot of drinking. There is a lot of partying. 'So I would wait until 11pm, 12am at night to go out because I was scared people might see me. I was shy to show my face [while] I am doing this. 'But at home, I just needed money.' Things got so bad that Katoa and his young wife Taufa ran out of money for essentials like nappies and formula for their child Keziah. 'I knew every street, where the jackpot was, cases of [empty] beer [bottles],' he said, able to laugh about it now. 'I was probably the only one doing it at that time. 'Some nights I would have my daughter in the car with me sleeping. 'I would fill these bags up, stack them up on top of my car. 'My wife would tell me that is enough, come home.' Highlighting how much extra work Katoa was doing to bring in extra income, the Sharks winger said he would bring home at least $200 from his Tuesday-night scavenges - collecting an average of 2000 bottles. 'That's a story that, I never want to tell it. Because I feel embarrassed.

Bruno Fernandes has hit out at his 'lazy' Manchester United teammates following the 2-2 pre-season draw against Everton on Sunday night. The Red Devils won the Premier League Summer Series tournament – but put in an alarming performance as they twice threw away their lead. The average salary for a full-time worker in Australia is $102,742 per year, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics. After scoring a big promotion, Ashlea splashed out on her dream car - a Mercedes convertible, which she couldn't wait to show off to her 81,500 TikTok followers. 'I had this car on my vision board that I made about six years ago,' she said. 'Now I'm living my best Barbie dreams.' She attributed the dream purchase to her FIFO career. 'I have been waiting so long for this moment. I've driven a car I didn't love for the past six years, so I can finally drive this beautiful car,' she said. 'I feel so grateful and like a bad bi***.' Ashlea earned $36.50 an hour when she began working in the mines 'For my first year as a greenie (truck driver) I would have taken about $94,000 - 95,000 annually,' she previously explained. After her first year in the mines, she changed contractors and received a huge jump in pay as a result. She now earns at least $51.50 an hour and receives a $2,000 bonus for each month she stays with her employer. 'So that could be anywhere between $6,000 and $10,000 a month,' Ashlea said. 'Annually, my $51.50 would be approximately $112,000. With my bonuses, that could be another $10,000, so $122,000 for my first year. 'And then when I'm employed directly with the company itself, every full year you're employed through the mine site direct, they pay you a bonus also, which I think is approximately $3,000 each year. 'And then if the company itself does well, I think they actually pay you a bit of a profit share just as a thanks, which I love.' Ashlea spent Christmas in Finland and has since travelled to Paris and celebrated her birthday in Bali. 'Honestly, I feel so grateful for my life,' she captioned a recent TikTok clip. 'I have a beautiful partner. An amazing job. A stunning apartment. A wonderful family and group of friends. My dream car. 'I get to travel. Goals for the year ahead. Life is good. 'I don't write this to brag, but a reminder to do what brings you joy in life and take pleasure in doing it. Life is too short not to enjoy its magic.'
