With a net total of Rs 172.50 crore in India within its first week, 'Saiyaara' has officially taken its place as the current fourth-highest-earning Bollywood film of 2025, according to sacnilk.
Aamir Khan's emotional drama had previously closed its theatrical run with approximately Rs 160.62 crore in domestic collections, a record that the romantic drama has now overtaken in its 7-day run.
The movie now trails only behind 'Chhaava', which earned an estimated Rs 601 crore, Housefull 5, which occupies the second spot with a collection of Rs 183 crore, and 'Raid 2' which earned Rs 173 crore.
Globally, the film has recorded even more impressive numbers.
With an India gross of Rs 183 crore and an overseas gross of Rs 37 crore, Saiyaara has achieved a total worldwide gross of Rs 220 crore. With no major Hindi releases lined up in the coming days and strong, sustained occupancy, Saiyaara is well on its way to crossing the Rs 200 crore India net mark and potentially breaching Rs 250 crore worldwide if momentum holds in its second weekend.
The film's success is being attributed to a combination of heartfelt storytelling, striking visuals, and strong lead performances. Director Suri, known for emotionally charged romances like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain, brings a fresh pairing of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda and has particularly impressed viewers, with many praising the chemistry between the two newcomers.
