Provocative ad campaign 'Us vs. Them' highlights distinctive personality of Grenadier
INEOS Automotive shows its humourous side with 'Lets Take This Outside' billboard ad
'Good luck to the others: they're cool cars. But we're tired of the comparisons. To be clear , this is all about saying we're different.' – Lynn Calder, CEO at INEOS Automotive

Dubai, April 2025 – INEOS Automotive has launched a bold advertising campaign to clearly differentiate the Grenadier 4X4 from the regular school-run SUVs and soft-roading crossovers.
While respecting various rival manufacturers for their success in those segments, the Grenadier was engineered to follow a different trail.
The lead advert being activated in social media and on out-of-home billboards depicts the Grenadier, with muddy scars and splashes from off-roading, pitted against another brand's clean and tidy model. A cheeky provocative caption is intended to raise a smile.
The campaign follows a series of unsuccessful legal challenges around the world that were intended to disrupt the development and sales of the Grenadier and hinder the growth of the start-up British brand. After years of unnecessary distraction, INEOS Automotive is drawing a line in the sand.
'We've held our tongues while winning the court cases over and over again, and we feel it's now time to set the record straight: we're not them and we're not trying to be them,' said Lynn Calder, CEO at INEOS Automotive . 'Good luck to the others: they're cool cars. But we're tired of the comparisons. To be clear, this is all about saying we're different.'
The 'Us vs. Them' digital advert is the first in a series of campaign activations over the coming months.

Israa Farhan Tesla, owned by American billionaire Elon Musk, is preparing to enter the British energy market with plans to supply electricity to homes within the coming months. Tesla intends to begin supplying power to households and businesses across England, Scotland, and Wales by next year at the latest, according to PA Media. Tesla Energy Ventures applied to Ofgem last month, signed by Andrew Byine, the group's Director of Energy for Europe. Nunez leaves Liverpool to join Saudi's Al-Hilal - World

Liverpool sold striker Darwin Nunez to Saudi side Al-Hilal, both clubs confirmed on Saturday, in a move that could allow the Premier League champions to make a fresh bid for Newcastle's Alexander Isak. Nunez joined the Reds for an initial 75 million euros ($87 million, £65 million) from Benfica three years ago but has failed to live up to that price tag. The Uruguayan scored 40 goals in 143 appearances but slipped down the pecking order at Anfield under both Jurgen Klopp and Arne Slot. According to reports in the British media, Al-Hilal will pay an initial 53 million euros for the 26-year-old. Liverpool FC can confirm Darwin Nunez has completed a permanent transfer to Al-Hilal, subject to international clearance. Everybody at the club would like to thank Darwin for his contributions and wish him and his family all the best for the future. — Liverpool FC (@LFC) August 9, 2025 "Al-Hilal Club Company is pleased to announce the signing of Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez from Liverpool FC on a three-year contract," Al-Hilal said in a statement. Al-Hilal Signs Uruguayan Player Darwin Nunez 📃 — AlHilal Saudi Club (@Alhilal_EN) August 9, 2025 Nunez was likely to play even less this season after Liverpool signed Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz as part of a 300 million euro spending spree that also includes full-backs Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong. However, the club could still break the British transfer record by signing Isak. Liverpool reportedly had a first bid of £110 million rejected, with Newcastle demanding a fee of up to £150 million for the Swedish striker. The sale of Nunez would take Liverpool's income for transfer sales this window to nearly 200 million euros after the departures of Luis Diaz, Jarell Quansah, Caoimhin Kelleher, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Tyler Morton. Nunez is the latest big name to join Al-Hilal, who shocked Manchester City to reach the quarter-finals of the recent Club World Cup. Coached by former Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi, the Saudi club's squad includes Portuguese internationals Ruben Neves and Joao Cancelo, Senegal captain Kalidou Koulibaly and former Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. Bank of England Cuts Interest Rates to Lowest Level in over Two Years

Taarek Refaat The Bank of England (BoE) on Thursday cut its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points, bringing it down to 4.00%, the lowest level since early 2023. The decision comes amid growing concerns over a sluggish British economy, persistently elevated inflation, and rising global trade tensions. The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) voted 5 to 4 in favor of the cut, signaling a divided outlook among policymakers as they attempt to balance efforts to rein in inflation with the urgent need to support domestic growth. 'While the direct impact of U.S. tariffs has been milder than initially feared, the broader uncertainty surrounding trade policy continues to weigh heavily on sentiment,' the BoE said in its policy statement. This marks the fifth rate cut since the BoE began its easing cycle in August 2024, reflecting a strategic shift from combating inflation to stimulating demand in the face of weaker-than-expected economic performance. While the central bank has long targeted a 2.0% inflation rate, the latest official data showed inflation climbing unexpectedly to 3.6% in June, an 18-month high, complicating the BoE's decision-making process. Despite the inflation uptick, policymakers expressed confidence that the current trajectory of inflation will ease over time, justifying a continued accommodative stance, albeit with greater caution. 'Interest rates remain on a downward path, but any future reductions must proceed gradually and prudently,' said BoE Governor Andrew Bailey during a post-decision press briefing. The BoE's move follows months of economic turbulence triggered in part by U.S. President Donald Trump's global tariff campaign, which has contributed to mounting uncertainty in global markets. Although a May trade agreement between London and Washington rolled back more than 10% in tariffs on U.K.-manufactured goods, particularly automobiles, business investment remains subdued, and consumer confidence is fragile. The Bank said the improved trade terms had softened immediate downside risks but warned that geopolitical unpredictability and domestic tax burdens continue to cast a shadow on long-term growth prospects. Despite the headwinds, the Bank of England revised its GDP growth forecast for 2025 upward to 1.25%, from a previous estimate of 1.0%, suggesting a slightly improved outlook but still well below pre-pandemic norms. read more CBE: Deposits in Local Currency Hit EGP 5.25 Trillion Morocco Plans to Spend $1 Billion to Mitigate Drought Effect Gov't Approves Final Version of State Ownership Policy Document Egypt's Economy Expected to Grow 5% by the end of 2022/23- Minister Qatar Agrees to Supply Germany with LNG for 15 Years Business Oil Prices Descend amid Anticipation of Additional US Strategic Petroleum Reserves Business Suez Canal Records $704 Million, Historically Highest Monthly Revenue Business Egypt's Stock Exchange Earns EGP 4.9 Billion on Tuesday Business Wheat delivery season commences on April 15 News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Arts & Culture Lebanese Media: Fayrouz Collapses after Death of Ziad Rahbani Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results
