Conor McGregor shares new MMA training video as he teases UFC return
The Dubliner has been teasing a return to the UFC in recent weeks after four years of inactivity, and has set set his sights on fighting at the rumoured event taking place at the White House next summer.

In a later Instagram story, McGregor shared an image stating that he had returned to the UFC drug testing pool.
It was revealed last week that McGregor had given his first anti-doping sample to the UFC's drug-testing department, signalling that a return to the octagon was on the cards.
In order to return to the UFC, McGregor needs to provide six months of clean drug testing samples, meaning he could technically be free to fight from February 2026.
The 'Notorious' hasn't fought since losing twice to Dustin Poirier in 2021, the second loss seeing McGregor snap his leg in the opening round.
McGregor was due to return in 2024 against Michael Chandler but withdrew with a toe injury.

Eve McMahon up to fifth in dinghy event at Europeans

Meanwhile, McMahon's older brother Ewan slipped from third to sixth overall in the ILCA 7 men's event despite also scoring a second place for the day. He had to use his discard to drop a 31st place this afternoon as the wind started to drop. Carlow's Finn Lynch is 12th European in the men's event after two top-ten results keeps him firmly in contention while also watching McMahon as a rival for the a place at the LA Olympics with Team Ireland.

Cork boxer Callum Walsh is set for a significant outing in September as part of the Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez versus Terence Crawford showdown in Las Vegas.
