Nicole Kidman's niece begs for a job after ‘risky' move to London

Nicole Kidman's niece is on the job hunt after making a 'risky' move from Australia to London.
Lucia Hawley begged for 'someone to hire [her] please' while describing her relocation via Substack on Monday, per Page Six.
'On paper, this is a totally stupid decision, and honestly, frightens me,' the 26-year-old wrote, explaining that she has a 'risk-averse' personality.
'My body quite literally rejects the idea of both moving overseas being unemployed,' she continued.
However, Lucia admitted that she'd experienced a 'difficult' six months in her career while 'lack[ing] direction and fac[ing] numerous rejections in the pursuit of something better.'
She wrote, 'This period was pretty taxing on my confidence, and I eventually began to feel like there was just simply not much left for me in Sydney (at least for now).'
The former 7Bravo host, who is one of Kidman's sister Antonia Kidman's four children with late husband Angus Hawley, called the life change a 'traumatic' one.
'Saying goodbye to Henry was incredibly difficult,' Lucia wrote of her boyfriend.
'Sometimes I am left baffled by his unwavering support and blind belief in me, championing everything I do,' she gushed of her partner. 'This kind of love — true, safe love — makes you feel like you can do anything.
'Even harder were the goodbyes to my family,' Lucia continued. 'I kissed my little brothers through floods of tears.'
Nonetheless, the choice remains 'exciting' and 'freeing' for Nicole's family member.
'I believe home to be a feeling,' she told readers. 'Having a strong network of people who support you is what truly enables you to navigate the world with confidence and self-assurance.'
With loved ones backing her, 'failing can seem so much less inconsequential,' Lucia explained.
She concluded by pointing out that 'if it all fails, [she will] always have home.'
Lucia is close with her famous aunt, and they recently enjoyed a family vacation in Croatia.

‘Best night': Oasis performs Ozzy Osbourne tribute to thousands at sold out tour

Oasis fans who turned out for the iconic band's concerts in Wembley were definitely not disappointed, as this incredible footage shows. The band, led by Noel and Liam Gallagher, have been back on tour since July 4 – reuniting after a bust up broke up the band 16 years ago. They are currently performing in London as part of seven sold-out shows at the iconic Wembley Stadium, The Sun reports. A new video posted to Instagram shot from the stage behind the famous band and looking out to the crowd, showed thousands of people jumping up and down as the band kicked off one of their most popular songs. The stadium moved as one as Noel played guitar and frontman Liam urged the crowd on by waving his arms up in the air. The video was shared to the official Oasis Instagram accoun t where fans flooded it with positive comments. 'Everytime we see these clips it's so refreshing to see the crowd enjoying themselves, and not watching through their screens,' wrote one person. Another added: 'A sea of Oasis fans in 2025 what a time to be alive … Thank you guys this tour has been better than I have imagined it would be.' A third commented: 'Best night with the best band!' And a fourth posted: 'Wow! Regardless of whether you are a fan of band or not, this is amazing.' Oasis played its first shows at Wembley in 16 years and in the first concert on Friday paid tribute to Black Sabbath frontman, Ozzy Osbourne, who died on Tuesday aged 76. As the band played its 1994 Top Ten hit, Live Forever, a giant image of Ozzy appeared on the screens in the stadium. The brothers also sang the track Rock 'N' Roll Star, from the same year, in honour of Ozzy, who was the self-proclaimed Prince of Darkness. Liam told the 81,000-strong crowd: 'I want to dedicate this one to Ozzy Osbourne — a rock 'n' roll star.' Earlier in the week, Oasis sent fans wild by releasing a live track from the reunion tour. The live rendition of one of Oasis' most famous songs, Cigarettes and Alcohol, was released after the band also dropped Slide Away, which was recorded and released from their first date in Cardiff. Oasis will perform five more concerts at Wembley on July 30 and August 2 and 3. They will return towards the end of their tour for two more dates on September 27th and 28th.

Iconic film starring Keira Knightley confirmed for a sequel, 23 years on

IN LONDON More than two decades after the original, another Bend It Like Beckham is on the way. Director Gurinder Chadha has confirmed she is working on a sequel to the hit 2002 film, which starred Keira Knightley and Parminder Nagra. It will be released in 2027 in honour of Bend It Like Beckham 's 25th anniversary and also to coincide with the FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil. Chadha told the BBC she'd received requests for a follow-up 'almost twice a week' since the release of the original, which was made on a $7.2 million budget and became a box office hit, making around $120 million worldwide. 'We've been part of changing the game for women, so it felt like this was a good time for me to go back and investigate the characters,' she explained. It's not yet clear whether the new instalment will be a film or TV series, but Chadha said she hoped to reunite some of the original cast members. Bend It Like Beckham followed the story of Jess (Parminder), a British teenager from a traditional Sikh family who dreams of being a football star amid pressure to follow to settle down. Jess befriends Jules (Knightley) and is recruited into the local women's team, where she struggles to keep the secret of her growing dedication and passion to the game from her family. Chadha hinted that she'd been thinking about a sequel back in 2023, when she told The Mirror that for 'the longest time' she had avoided the idea. 'But I have to say, after the World Cup this year, and also with the Euros a few years ago, my brain is ticking again and I have an idea in my head that I'm thinking through for the first time, she told the publication. 'I'm thinking that I could definitely do something. I never wanted to follow the girls off in America, because I felt that what I had created was so magical for that moment in time. 'It's very hard with sequels – there are very few sequels that I think really hit the mark after the success of the first film. 'However, I do have an idea and I am starting to work on it, so I think I will definitely do something that shows how brilliant our athletes are right now.'

Fans in a frenzy at possibility Tomorrowland could come to Australia in 2026

Eagle-eyed fans believe Tomorrowland, or at least an offshoot of the world-famous electronic dance music festival, is Australia-bound for the first time in 2026. Attendees walking towards the CORE stage at this year's festival in Belgium over the weekend spotted a map installation that looked to be teasing upcoming locations. Among them was Melbourne, which appeared as a potential host in November 2026. A video of the map was shared on TikTok, where it has racked up more than 120,000 likes. Many believe at the very least Tomorrowland's CORE stage is on its way as part of a boutique event series. 'I wanna go so freaking bad,' one person said. If it does pan out that way, it would mark the bucket-list festival's Australian debut. If must be said that there is no confirmation at this stage. has reached out to Tomorrowland representatives for details but are yet to hear back. The TikTok video also suggested a festival could be held in Los Angeles in May 2026. Tomorrowland is held annually in Boom, Belgium, attracting 400,000 festivalgoers from around the world. It was first held in 2005 and has grown to become one of the world's biggest music festivals. Just two days before the 2025 event was due to start, a raging fire destroyed the famous main stage. But heavy metal band Metallica came to the rescue, reportedly offering up some of their world tour stage equipment that was in storage to ensure the show could go on. Tomorrowland spin-off festivals have previously been held in the US, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.
