Mac Miller Posthumously Reaches A Milestone Thanks To One Of His Earliest Mixtapes
One of Miller's decade-plus-old projects appears on several charts in the United Kingdom this week, and it helps him posthumously reach a notable milestone.
I Love Life, Thank You Debuts on Multiple Charts
I Love Life, Thank You launches on three rankings in the U.K. this frame, reaching all of them for the first time. The set opens at No. 36 on the Official Vinyl Albums chart and at No. 92 on the Official Physical Albums tally. Most impressively, I Love Life, Thank You starts its time on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart at No. 10.
Mac Miller's Tenth Top 10 Album
Miller earns his tenth top 10 hit on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart. Throughout his career — including the years following his unexpected death due to a drug overdose — the rapper has sent a dozen titles to the genre-specific list, with only two missing the highest tier.
Among Miller's 10 top 10s on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums ranking is just a sole No. 1. He didn't reach the summit until January of this year, when Balloonerism, his most recent posthumous release, debuted in first place.
Previously, several studio efforts by the talented musician — including Circles, Faces, and Watching Movies with the Sound Off — missed the throne by just one spot.
Mac Miller's Mixtape is More Than a Decade Old
Miller released I Love Life, Thank You in October 2011, when he was still relatively unknown. His sixth mixtape arrived about a month before his debut album, Blue Slide Park, which helped him break out as one of the most exciting new names in hip-hop.
I Love Life, Thank You was recently issued on vinyl in several colors, and purchases of the collectible help it debut on charts in a number of countries where Miller's fanbase remains eager for anything with his name on it.

‘Spider-Man 4': Tom Holland Reveals ‘Brand New Day' Suit as Filming Begins
A day after Spider-Man's new suit was teased on social media, Tom Holland officially revealed his Brand New Day costume Saturday. Filming on the Marvel Cinematic Universe's fourth Spider-Man film began this week ahead of its scheduled July 31, 2026 release, and Holland — donning the outfit for the first time since 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home — showcased his character's new look, which Variety notes has bolder colors and a bigger spider insignia that more parallels the classic comic book look. Peter Parker and Miles Morales Return: New Dates Set for 'Spider-Man' and 'Spider-Verse' Sequels 'Daredevil: Born Again' Could Use Another Reboot 'We ready?' Holland asks in the short clip that was uploaded Saturday. With production underway in London, this week brought news of additional casting for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, including the return of Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk, as well as Michael Mando reprising the role of Mac Gargan/Scorpion nine years after hinting at that villain in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming. Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures previously revealed that Jon Bernthal's the Punisher will make his MCU big-screen debut in Brand New Day, which will also see returning cast members Zendaya (MJ) and Jacob Batalon (Ned). The Bear's Liza Colon-Zayas and Stranger Things' Sadie Sink have also been cast in still-unannounced roles, though the latter is rumored to be a variant of Gwen Stacy. In October 2024, Holland talked about the upcoming Spidey sequel when it was still in the scripting stage. 'Zendaya and I sat down and read it together, and we at times were bouncing around the living room like, 'This is a real movie worthy of the fans' respect,'' he said. 'But there's a few things we need to figure out before we can get that really going, but it's exciting, and I'm really excited about it.' Traitors star Harry Clark says Celebrity SAS was 'kick I needed' to overhaul life
The reality TV star won The Traitors in 2024 but has admitted he struggled with adjusting to the pressures of fame. Viewers might expect The Traitors star Harry Clark to have found Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins a breeze thanks to his military background. But he has admitted the gruelling contest was "the kick I needed" to sort out his life, revealing that the series "broke me physically and mentally". Clark, who won BBC One series The Traitors in 2024 after double-crossing show best friend Mollie Pearce, joined the Army at 16 and served as an engineer before leaving the military and becoming a TV star. So he might have had more experience than most of his fellow recruits in the Channel 4 show that simulates SAS selection, but revealed that taking part helped him to find himself and get "on the right path" and said that he had felt "lost" in life going into the show. Read more: Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins line-up from Rebecca Loos to Michaella McCollum Celebrity SAS put star on the 'right path' after overnight fame After winning The Traitors at just 22 and becoming an overnight celebrity, the pressures of fame were overwhelming for Clark to adjust to. Asked why he wanted to take part in Celebrity SAS, he replied: "For me, it was trying to do something that helped me find myself, if that makes sense? I was hoping that it would be an experience that would put me on the right path, on the right track, especially with advice or help from the people involved in the series." Clark, who has previously opened up on mental health struggles, added: "I hadn't had the greatest experience during my last six months after leaving the military." But despite his Army past, he admitted of whether he was prepared for Celebrity SAS: "I know that at that time in my life I wasn't in the fittest shape. Now I'm in the best shape!" The reality star, who previously took part in BBC show Pilgrimage, shared that he had been "broken" by Celebrity SAS but that he believes it was exactly what he needed to get his life back on course. He said: "I sum up the whole experience as confusing because the course broke me physically and mentally. But that was actually the kick I needed and the experience I needed at that time. "It was definitely a growing point for me. That's what I've matured from, what's taught me that not everything goes perfectly to plan. So yeah, I would say it's confusing because of the amount of emotions I felt. I felt every single emotion you can feel from a TV show on that course." How Harry Clark's military past helped with Celebrity SAS However, Clark undoubtedly got some advantage from having served in the Army, as he shared that being shouted at by the directing staff — something many other celebrities find tough — was not a problem for him. "Oh, that didn't really bother me, to be honest," he said. "When you are in the military, I think you're taught to have no emotion. And again, because I was so lost anyway, I can't really remember it fully, but I just remember it being like my time in the Army — if you get shouted at or you get screamed at, it doesn't matter. You just listen to it and then you change from that. "I was in the military from age 16 and I'd been screamed and shouted at and told to do press-ups and burpees and run here, there and everywhere, so it wasn't really any different from those six years of my army life." Clark added: "I had a strong mentality. No matter how much pain I was in, I was never going to hand in my armband. I remember my feet were busted the whole time I was there because right before I'd gone, I was doing other sports for charity. So it was a bit of everything together - the mental and physical." Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins returns to Channel 4 at 9pm on Sunday, 3 August.
