Defender Trophy Edition: What's new
The special edition is available in two new colours: Keswick Green and Deep Sandglow Yellow. Both options have been contrasted with gloss black detailing on the bonnet, roof, lower body panels, skid plates, and 20-inch alloy wheels. These wheels come shod with all-terrain tyres as standard.
Inside, the cabin gets a black leather upholstery, while the dashboard panel is painted to match the exterior body colour. Moreover, customers can further personalise the Defender Trophy Edition with an optional Accessory Pack, priced at £4,995. This pack includes a roof rack, side-mounted gear carriers, fold-down roof ladder, raised air intake, and front and rear mud flaps. Lastly, bespoke Trophy decals and badging round out the exterior changes.

The Defender Trophy Edition is offered with two
powertrain options
: a 3.0-litre inline-six diesel engine producing 296 hp and 650 Nm of torque, and a plug-in hybrid that combines a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor, delivering 296 hp and 540 Nm. Both are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Besides launching the new Defender 110 Trophy Edition, the company has also announced the Defender Trophy, a global adventure competition open to participants from over 50 countries. Inspired by historic Trophy events, the contest will test driving skills, physical endurance, and problem-solving through a series of local and national rounds. The new plan, dubbed 'Lite', significantly reduces the cost of battery swaps for Activa E users. Priced at Rs 678 (excluding GST), this new plan brings down the entry-level subscription rate from the earlier Rs 1,999. Under the Lite plan, Activa E owners will get up to 12 battery swaps per month. If users exceed this limit, an additional fee of Rs 180 per swap will be charged. Defender has revealed the new Defender Trophy Edition with a global adventure competition that consists of off-road challenges with some conservation missions that will end in an African finale in 2026. The trophy is inspired by trophy and challenge events that have taken place in the past, and will have three rounds of training and competition. Selections for the same will start this summer, before national finals that happen next spring to decide the finalists of the Defender conservation partner Tusk in Africa in 2026.
