BTS have officially reunited! Although it has been a while since all the members were finally discharged from the military, fans have just received the much-needed confirmation via a live stream session with all seven members.
BTS surprises fans with live stream
On July 1, BTS took to a popular fan forum website and started a livestream with all of the members on screen sitting around a couch. This is the first live stream event that the idols have held together since September 22, only a few months before Jin officially started his military service.
The live stream came as a surprise to most fans, as the notification for the live stream popped up with no warning. All seven members of the group were gathered around a couch and shared anecdotes from their time in the military and how everything has been since their return to civilian life.
Members
RM
and
Jimin
even talked about how things have been feeling weird ever since coming back, 'like a vacation', the leader of the group mentioned, to which all of the remaining members made fun of him.
New BTS album launch
The live stream was not the only thing that shocked fans! BTS casually ended up confirming that the group will be releasing new music by next year! The news was also officially confirmed later, as per reports from Variety as well.
Fans should mark their calendars for spring 2026, as a new album and music have officially been confirmed by the group's management agency.
While sharing the news with the fans, the group issued a statement in the live stream saying, 'Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music. Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member's thoughts and ideas. We're approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.'
It was also shared that the members will begin creating and working on new music by August, as they are planning on travelling to the US.
While no official date was announced by the group members or by their management agency, they even ended up confirming that they're simultaneously working together to prepare for a massive world tour as well.
Fans react
As soon as the live stream started, fans started pouring in their reactions online about OT7 finally reuniting.
One fan commented, 'I'm torn between the fact that it's finally OT7 live again after a long time and the fact that they're working on group music already and back to their roots. Like, I'm processing one by one; it's overwhelming (positive) (lovingly and wholeheartedly).'
Another fan expressed their excitement by saying, 'BTS are definitely trying something new for their comeback album and will be more hands-on in it than ever.'
Live album on the way
The group are all set to release their first-ever live album for their previous tour, 'Permission to Dance On Stage'. The tour managed to be a huge success, garnered over 4 million people in attendance and was held both online and offline, as per the COVID-19 restrictions during 2021 to 2022. The live album will feature 22 songs in total, as well as behind-the-scenes content, interviews, and live performance recordings.
The album will drop on July 18, while the pre-orders for the album have already started.

Larsa Pippen once admitted dating Malik Beasley was a mistake (Image Credit: Getty Images) Former NBA star Scottie Pippen's ex-wife, Larsa Pippen, is a desirable woman. Her colorful dating life after her divorce from the NBA legend in 2021 is the legit proof. However, not all her dating choices were apt. She admitted the same in one of her old interviews with Jason Lee. The man in question was Malik Beasley, the Detroit Pistons guard. During the interview, Jason reminded Larsa that he had warned against dating Beasley. She readily agreed, but went on to clarify, saying: 'I had COVID brain. I just had COVID. I was stuck in my house; I hadn't gone anywhere. He was there. He was like on me like, 'Let me come see you' ... and I thought, 'Ok, come see me." In the same interview, she shared how things got a bit messy after their news of dating circulated. Malik had to face a divorce situation as his wife, Montana Yao, called it quits after his dating news came out. Though Montana came back to him later, the growing differences led to her filing for divorce one day before their fifth wedding anniversary. Larsa Pippen Says Dating Malik Beasley Was a Mistake: 'I Had COVID Brain!' Larsa dated Malik Beasley for about four months. Their breakup was announced by Larsa's representative in April 2021, citing distance as a reason. They were first seen publicly in November 2020 in Miami, as per an NY Post report. Larsa Pippen's COVID brain quote resurfaced after Gilbert Arenas commented on ongoing Malik Beasley scandal Malik Beasley is facing a federal investigation owing to his alleged involvement in gambling on player props during the 2023-24 season. Gilbert Arenas, in a video he posted on his Instagram account, blasted the Pistons guard for the same and made the COVID brain comment. He said: 'You lose $43 million cuz you wanna make $5000.' He continued, 'You must have caught that COVID brain your ex gave it to you, coz she said she had COVID brain when she was dating you. I am pretty sure she passed it on. So, you might wanna go check yourself. You over there making prop bets, as an NBA player!' Larsa Pippen called herself a woman with good energy while talking to Jason Lee In the same interview with Jason Lee, where Larsa made the COVID brain comment, she elaborated on her dating life. She credited her virtues for being the center of attraction among men. Talking about why she gets so much attention, Larsa said: 'I feel like guys like me... I'm fun, good energy, I don't need s*** from anybody. I think that's appealing to a lot of guys. ... I never have a shortage of guys." Larsa Pippen is currently dating Jeff Coby, a former basketball player. She made a public appearance with him on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where she called Coby 'her twin' and shared her plans to marry him in the future. According to an E! News report, Coby has not proposed to her yet, though she went on to talk about their wedding date.
