At least six dead after mystery 'dairy accident' in Colorado
Six bodies have been discovered on a dairy in Colorado plains, in a tragedy currently being described as 'an accident.' Rescue crews entered a confined space at the dairy Wednesday and recovered the bodies, the Southeast Weld Fire Protection District said. Weld County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Melissa Chesmore said her agency also responded Wednesday to an emergency at the dairy. 'We didn´t find anything criminal in nature,' she said. 'It looks like an accident.' She didn't elaborate on the nature of the emergency or say where exactly the bodies were found, referring questions to state occupational safety regulators. According to CBS News, the Weld County Coroner's Office said a preliminary investigation suggests the six victims were exposed to gas from Prospect Valley Dairy. While the names of the victims have not yet been released, it is understood they were primarily adult men. One of the victims may have been 17 years old, The Independent reported. Dairy Farmers of America confirmed on Thursday the incident took place at one of its member farms. 'We are deeply saddened by this incident, and our thoughts and most sincere condolences go out to the friends and families of the deceased,' the organization said in a statement. 'At this early stage, we have no further details.' The local Keenesburg Police Department said it was not among the responding agencies. The dairy is located along a rural road near Keenesburg, about 35 miles (55 kilometers) northeast of Denver.

Nip/Tuck star Dylan Walsh hit with multiple tickets after swerving lanes and crashing SUV with 4 family members inside
Actor Dylan Walsh was hit with multiple tickets after he swerved across lanes in New Jersey before crashing into two utility poles with four passengers inside. Nip/Tuck star Walsh, 61, was the driver of the vehicle at the time of the crash on Sunday, the Daily Mail can confirm. While traveling northbound on East River Road, Walsh swerved into the southbound lane before breaking through a utility pole and continuing northbound, police said. The car, a 2022 Ford Explorer, then collided with another utility pole and emergency crews responded to the 'serious' single-car crash just after 5pm. Walsh was served with 'several motor vehicle summonses,' the Rumson Police Department said in a release. The crash resulted in two of Walsh's passengers being transported to Riverview Medical Center with complaints of pain, according to police. It remains unclear who involved in the crash was injured. Police did not confirm if the summonses were linked to driving under the influence, but said the investigation remains ongoing. The Daily Mail has reached out to Walsh's representative for comment. In a statement to TMZ, the actor's representative previously said: 'Over the weekend, Dylan Walsh and his family were involved in a car accident in Rumson. Thankfully, everyone is safe and has since returned home.' 'The family is deeply grateful for the swift response of the Rumson Police, Fire Department, and EMS, as well as the staff at Riverview Medical Center for their care,' they continued. 'They would also like to extend a special thank-you to the management and staff at The River Point Inn for their support in the immediate aftermath.' The intersection remained closed until 7am the following day, and the crash kept eight neighboring residents without power until late on Sunday evening. According to the local news outlet Towns Of: Monmouth County, NJ, Walsh's wife Leslie Bourque wrote about the crash in a since-deleted Facebook post. 'It was our family who was involved in the car accident on River Road yesterday afternoon. We just want to thank everyone who took care of us in this scary time,' Bourque reportedly wrote. '1st of all to the managers/staff at River Point Inn who immediately ran out to make sure we were ok and comfort our kids (literally one lady wrapped her arms around all of us letting us know it would be ok) — bringing ice bags and the fancy Evian water bottle.' She continued, thanking the 'first responders who came faster than one would think,' as well as the 'EMT who put up with my corny jokes in the ambulance. And the ER staff at Riverview Medical.' Walsh's wife included an update on how her family members were doing after the crash. 'We are a bit bruised from seatbelts, but grateful for them and air bags which saved our lives,' she concluded. 'We apologize for anyone who lost power or inconvenience.' Walsh shares two children, Amelie Bell, 13, and Hudson Scott, with his third wife Bourque who married in 2022. He has two other children, Thomas and Joanna, with Boogie Nights actress Melora Walters. Thomas made headlines in 2023 for rescuing a drowning driver from Baltimore Harbor after a car plunged into the waters. Walsh's heroic son, who was 26 years old at the time, was seen diving into the waters fully clothed before punching the car window with his bare fists to free the driver. A rep for Walsh exclusively told the Daily Mail that the heroic act of the military veteran who served in Iraq only shows 'that's the person he is!' A co-worker to Thomas named Jordan Payne, who saw his heroic act, told the Baltimore Banner that he had suffered injuries from saving the driver. She explained: 'His hand is like all the way cut up. His whole knuckles are busted.' After breaking into the car, Thomas grabbed the driver and did his best to get him to safety. A witness named Mike Malone said: 'I saw him when he had the guy, he was trying to hold him up, he was trying to pull him to safety. Both the driver, who law enforcement said had suffered a mental health crisis, and Thomas were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Moment man sets fire to cafe with customers inside 'after staff refused to give him mayonnaise for his sandwich'
This is the shocking moment a Spanish man set a cafe on fire after staff told them they had run out of mayonnaise. CCTV footage shows the man pouring gasoline over the bar at Las Postas cafe in the Spanish town of Los Palacios y Villafranca, before setting it alight. Flames are shown quickly erupting as the man walks away from the cafe, as customers and staff can be seen backing away from the explosive inferno. The unnamed man, 50, had visited the eatery with his son on Wednesday and ordered two sandwiches. When the waiter served them, the man asked if they had mayonnaise, to which the server replied that they had run out, Spanish news outlet La Sexta reports. The man then asked a different waiter the same question, who confirmed that they didn't have any. The furious customer then got up and left the cafe, but returned moments later with a 1.5 litre bottle of gasoline, which he used to set fire to the vicinity. Workers immediately used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames and to prevent the fire from spreading through the cafe. The man was later arrested by Civil Guard near the restaurant after a waiter chased him down. He was transported to a local health centre where he received treatment for burns on his hands, according to local media. One waiter reportedly suffered a minor burn as a result of the fire. According to witnesses, several others were injured, including an elderly man and a small child. The material damages and lost profits of the incident have amounted to around 7,000 euros, or £6,056. Police are now investigating the incident and the man is facing charges of criminal damage, arson and causing danger. It comes as Spain has been battling one of its most destructive fire seasons in recent decades. The country tackled several wildfires this week, with thousands of firefighters aided by soldiers and water-bombing aircraft grappling the flames in northwestern Spain. The fires in Galicia have ravaged small, sparsely populated towns, forcing locals in many cases to step in before firefighters arrive. Firefighting units from Germany arrived in northern Spain on Tuesday to help fight the blazes, Spain's Interior Ministry announced. More than 20 vehicles were deployed to help fight an ongoing blaze in Jarilla in the Extremadura region that borders Portugal, the ministry said. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez visited the area Tuesday and spoke of the heat that has fueled the fires. Temperatures across Spain dropped by about 4 degrees Celsius (about 7 degrees Fahrenheit) Tuesday after a 16-day heat wave with several days above 40 C (104 F), Spain's weather agency reported. The fires in Spain have killed four people this year and burned more than 382,000 hectares or about 1,475 square miles, according to the European Union's European Forest Fire Information System.
