It's a scenario that's left the internet scratching its head and one that prompted Melbourne mom Nicole to post a TikTok explaining what had happened to her friend's son.
'I'm still speechless because I just can't fathom how somebody can do that and think it's socially acceptable. Because it's not. It's rude,' Nicole told Kidspot.

'Hopefully, the kids can catch up soon,' the father had written at the end of the message.
The youngster was devastated.

'I can't comprehend this type of behavior. Because to me it's common sense. You send out enough or you send out less and you wait,' she said.
