Hari Hara Veera Mallu Day 3 Box Office: Pawan Kalyan Film Earns Rs 64 Crore

Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu, directed by Jyothi Krishna, opened strong with ₹34 crore but saw a decline, earning ₹64 crore domestically in three days. Despite a powerful opening driven by star power and anticipation, Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu appears to be losing steam at the box office. After an impressive launch, the film's third-day earnings witnessed a worrying slump. The historical action drama, which hit cinemas last Thursday, opened with a solid ₹34 crore on its release day, bolstered further by ₹12 crore from Wednesday preview screenings. However, the momentum dropped sharply as early reviews and word-of-mouth feedback failed to sustain interest. Day 2 collections stood at ₹8 crore, and according to early estimates from Day 3 earnings saw only a slight uptick, bringing in ₹8.54 crore. This brings the film's total domestic collection over three days to ₹64 crore. It is a decent figure in isolation, but one that paints a mixed picture when placed against the steep day-to-day decline. The film's global earnings by the end of Day 2 reportedly touched ₹77 crore. In terms of 2025 releases, Hari Hara Veera Mallu failed to surpass Ram Charan's Game Changer. The film opened to a collection of Rs 51 crore. However, Pawan Kalyan's latest release has left behind some successful films like Daaku Maharaaj (Rs 25.35 crore), Sankranthiki Vasthunam (Rs 23 crore) and Kuberaa (Rs 14.75 crore). Directed by Jyothi Krishna, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is set in the 17th century and tells the tale of a rebellious outlaw who rises against a tyrannical regime. The screenplay is a collaboration between Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, Sai Madhav Burra, and Abhimanyu Srivastava. Pawan Kalyan, who recently took office as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, returns to the big screen in the titular role. The actor portrays a defiant warrior who leads a resistance during a turbulent chapter in regional history. The film's narrative explores themes of rebellion, justice, and loyalty, set against a backdrop of political unrest and cultural upheaval. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Collection Day 3: Saturday brings marginal relief for Pawan Kalyan movie; mints...

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Collection Day 3: Pawan Kalyan's period drama opened with a massive ₹ 34.75 crore on Thursday, July 24, but its earnings have drastically fallen since. However, its Saturday earnings come as some respite, thanks to the marginal upward change. Set in the 17th century, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is the story of an outlaw who rises against oppression for the people of his land. It is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A M Jyothi Krishna. It was reportedly made on a budget of ₹ 300 crore. Released in multiple languages, this pan-India Tollywood movie failed to capture audience from not just the Hindi-speaking belt but also from Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam screenings. The movie has drawn criticism from the Communist Party of India (Marxist), which has strongly opposed it, claiming that it spreads anti-Muslim sentiments using a made-up story. Since the premiere of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, hashtags like #BoycottHHVM and #DisasterHHVM have been trending online. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Hari Hara Veera Mallu earned ₹ 9.86 crore on Saturday, which is 23.25% better than its Friday collection. Its Day 3 earnings are mainly from its Telugu variant only. However, the overall waning audience interest in Pawan Kalyan's career-best opener in its first weekend raises serious concerns. Taking into account the ₹ 12.75 crore the movie earned from its premiere shows on Wednesday, the total collection of Hari Hara Veera Mallu stands at ₹ 65.36 crore on July 27. The narrative is rooted in a time when power struggles and revolutions shaped the course of history. Pawan Kalyan, the Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, plays the lead role of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, a character who will portray a warrior fighting for justice in a turbulent era. The movie also features Bollywood actor Bobby Deol as reimagined Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The actor-turned-politician, who plays the titular role, said the film tells the story of a heist involving the Koh-i-Noor diamond and sheds light on the tyranny of Aurangzeb. MM Keeravani, known for his award-winning work in Indian cinema, composed the music for Hari Hara Veera Mallu. It also features Nidhhi Agerwal, Bobby Deol, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, Jisshu Sengupta, Sunil Varma, and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.
