‘Thik Ba': Korean Man Teaching Bhojpuri Phrases To Students Is So Hilarious
Bhojpuri is primarily spoken in India. While some consider it a Hindi dialect, many consider it a distinct language with its own grammatical structures and vocabulary.
Bhojpuri, a language primarily spoken in India, especially Bihar, boasts a vibrant legacy of songs, plays, and folk dramas, made popular by generations of renowned artists. Though often classified as a dialect of Hindi, many regard Bhojpuri as a distinct language with its own grammar and vocabulary.
As its popularity continues to rise globally, a recent video of a South Korean man teaching Bhojpuri to a group of Korean students has gone viral on social media.
Korean Man Teaching Bhojpuri To Students:
In a video shared on Instagram, the man is seen enthusiastically coaching a group of children on some popular Bhojpuri greetings phrases in a classroom-like setting. He begins by explaining the goal of the course: 'How to have four basic conversations in India. When we first meet someone, we say hello. In India, we ask, 'ka ho?' Very nice." As the lesson progresses, the group cheerfully repeats the man's pronunciation of each Bhojpuri phrase.
He goes on to explain, 'When we see the same individual again, we ask how they've been. In India, we ask, 'ka hal ba?' Amazing. Okay, now we need to react. We say 'thik ba?' Fantastic. And when we have to say goodbye to our friend, how do we say it? 'Khush Raho.'" The group repeats each Bhojpuri phrase together, resulting in a lively and entertaining scene on camera.
Sharing the video, he wrote in the caption, 'Teaching Bhojpuri to Korean kids #korean #kdrama #bhojpuri #bihar Had a lovely opportunity to share my journey as a YouTube creator with Korean kids and also make a short video teaching them Bhojpuri."
How Did Social Media React?
The clip immediately captured the audience's attention, generating positive feedback. An Instagram user commented, 'Bhojpuri is everywhere." Another one wrote, 'Bhojpuri is more famous outside of India." One of them shared, 'Amazing work." A person shared, 'Tu ta pura Bhojpuri ke master ban gaila ho India aake (You've become a Bhojpuri master after coming to India)."
A comment reads, 'Next class- Dance on Bhojpuri song." 'I think you should invite Angoori Bhabhi (Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain fame) as a Guest teacher someday. Graduation day could be a good idea!!" wrote another.
Another one shared, 'I think Koreans only visit Bihar." A user penned, 'Jiya ho bihar ke lala."
The clip has gathered 6.23 lakhs views on Instagram since the time it was shared.
Recently, a video of a Japanese influencer speaking fluent Hindi while interacting with Indian tourists in Tokyo has won the audience's hearts online.

Backlash Erupts Over Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle Photoshoot Amid Political Controversy and Comparisons to 2009 Campaign
The debate surrounding American Eagle Outfitters' "Great Jeans" campaign featuring Sydney Sweeney does not appear to be slowing down. Over the course of more than 10 days, advertisements with "The White Lotus" actress are generating news coverage and social media rebukes. U.S. President Donald Trump has fueled the eugenics controversy during the weekend and David Lipman, a veteran advertising creative director on Monday, suggested to suggest that this American Eagle campaign recreated the look he created in 2009 when he collaborated by collaborating with Georgia May Jagger for Hudson Jeans. When a reporter revealed the voter registration status of Sydney Sweeney, Trump commented on Truth Social and called her the most talked about and viral ad campaign on the market. Trump acknowledged the great jeans genes ad and said it was flying off the shelves and encouraged Sydney to keep up her efforts. A media inquiry for the U.S. Office of Government Ethics seeking to know if Trump endorsement was in line the rules regarding "Endorsing Organizations, Products or Persons" was not acknowledged on Monday. American Eagle's stock surge 23.5 percent to close at $13.28. This is a significant increase compared to Friday which saw it drop by just a fraction of 1. At 27years old, Sweeney's Instagram following has risen to 25 million by Friday night, to 25.2 million. Additionally the popularity of her American Eagle campaign video has grown to 1.3 million views and attracted between 36,600 to 57,600 responses an increase of 57,600 from 5,483 posts earlier during the same time. Based on Susan Scafidi, founder and director of the Fashion Law Institute at Fordham University If Sydney B. Sweeney registered as an Republican within Florida was the exact person that is being discussed as a possible candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, then party operatives could be forming narratives that have white supremacist themes.

Vivek Agnihotri breaks silence on multiple FIRs filed against The Bengal Files: 'They are challenging our guts, courage'
Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is facing mounting legal heat ahead of the release of his upcoming film 'The Bengal Files'. In a video statement, Agnihotri revealed that multiple FIRs have been filed against him and the film by members of the ruling party in West Bengal. Despite the pressure, he remains defiant and plans to launch the trailer in the state itself. 'The ruling party of West Bengal and their members have been filing so many FIRs against us in different cities. That is their strategy. I was quiet and did not share this information with anyone because we were taking the legal course. I have great faith in Indian judiciaries, especially Calcutta High Court,' he said. 'The Calcutta High Court has given us a stay on all these FIRs, but as the case was being heard in the High Court, at the same time, they filed more FIRs. The ruling party wants to trap us with so many legal hassles and battles so that we cannot focus on the promotion of the film. This strategy has been deployed by them for a very long time.' Agnihotri also detailed the challenges of making the film. 'I must tell you it's one of the most defining and important films. It uncovers many dark chapters of our history.' He added, 'I have finished the film. It has taken a lot from us. We have put in whatever we had to make this very difficult film. We were not allowed to shoot in Bengal. We had to shoot the entire film in Bombay. Now, with our limited resource, we want this film to reach every citizen of India.' He concluded the video by saying, 'This is people's film. It is your film. I want you to support us. I want you to expose all those agencies and powers who do not want this film to come out. They are challenging our guts and courage. They want to see how we are going to fight. We are alone while they have the state power. But I have taken this challenge and I am going to release the trailer of the film in West Bengal. Nobody can silence me because nobody can silence the truth.' The Bengal Files, originally titled 'The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter', is an upcoming Hindi-language film directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri. It serves as the third and final instalment in Agnihotri's 'Files Trilogy' on modern Indian history, following 'The Tashkent Files' (2019) and 'The Kashmir Files' (2022). The film focuses on the 1946 Great Calcutta Killings. The project is set to be released in two parts. The first instalment, titled 'The Bengal Files: Right to Life', is slated to hit theatres on September 5, 2025, coinciding with Teachers' Day in India. Set against the backdrop of the 1940s, the film delves into the violence that engulfed undivided Bengal, spotlighting pivotal events such as Direct Action Day in 1946 and the Noakhali riots.

Dhadak 2 box office collection day 5: Siddhant Chaturvedi-Triptii Dimri film stays steady, collects ₹14 crore
Dhadak 2 box office collection day 5: Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, continues to stay steady at the box office. After a lukewarm opening weekend, the film added ₹1.52 crore on its fifth day, bringing the total domestic collection to ₹14.27 crore (India net), according to Sacnilk. Despite good reviews, the film hasn't gained the momentum expected of a mainstream romantic drama. Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri film is a remake of Pariyerum Perumal. Dhadak 2 box office collections on Day 5 On Tuesday, 5 August, Dhadak 2 recorded an overall Hindi (2D) occupancy of 21.15%, reflecting a marginal improvement in afternoon shows but a complete decline by evening and night. In terms of show-wise performance, the film saw a morning occupancy of 13.70%, which improved to 28.60% in the afternoon. It registered 32.07% for the evening shows. City-wise, the film's performance was a mixed bag. The National Capital Region (NCR) emerged as the top-performing region with 35% overall occupancy across 343 shows, followed by Chennai with a strong 44%, though with limited screenings. Jaipur also fared decently with 30.5% overall occupancy. Mumbai and Pune posted average numbers at 22% and 21.5% respectively, while Bengaluru and Lucknow hovered around the 17–24% range. On the other hand, cities like Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Surat showed weak response with single-digit occupancy levels. Chandigarh and Bhopal also registered subdued interest. About Dhadak 2 Dhadak 2 is a romantic drama starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. It is directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. A spiritual sequel to the 2018 film Dhadak, it explores themes of inter-caste romance and societal oppression. With weekday trends showing little sign of acceleration, Dhadak 2 faces an uphill climb to sustain its run at the box office. Whether word-of-mouth can turn things around remains to be seen as the film heads into its second weekend.
