Prince Harry and Prince William Prepare for Tense Royal Reunion
Prince Harry and Prince William are on track for a potentially tense royal reunion. The estranged brothers are expected to receive invitations to the upcoming wedding of their cousin, Peter Phillips, setting the stage for their first public appearance together since 2024.
Phillips, the son of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, recently announced his engagement to Harriet Sperling. Although an official date for Phillips' wedding has not yet been announced, Harry and William will likely both attend if asked.
The last time Harry and William were seen at the same event was in August 2024 at the memorial service for their uncle, Lord Robert Fellows. PEOPLE reported the brothers sat apart from one another and did not interact.
During King Charles's coronation in 2023, Harry and William kept their distance. The last time they were publicly seen together was at the funerals of Prince Philip in 2021 and Queen Elizabeth in 2022.

But during an interview with the BBC in May 2025, the Duke of Sussex expressed his wish to mend fences with the royal family. He said, 'I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point continuing to fight anymore.'
At this time, William and Harry's relationship remains at a standstill. Reportedly, the brothers have had little, if any, communication over the past five years.
The siblings' estrangement stems from years of growing tension. This divide was amplified by Harry and Meghan's decision to step back from royal duties in 2020.
Subsequent criticism of the royal family in interviews deepened the brothers' rift. This conflict has kept them apart ever since.
However, there are growing indications that Prince Harry's relationship with King Charles and Prince William may be improving, following recent meetings between their respective teams in the U.K. According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, Charles' steps toward reconciliation were likely known by William and had his approval.

Louis Tomlinson And Zara McDermott Hard-Launch Relationship On Instagram
Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott have finally confirmed they are an item. The One Direction star and former Love Island contestant were first linked in the press earlier this year, after the two were reportedly seen dining out together in Suffolk. Since then, Louis and Zara have repeatedly popped up in the comments of one another's Instagram posts, but have remained tight-lipped about the rumours that they're dating. That is, until Monday, when Zara posted a picture of herself and Louis on her Instagram page sharing a kiss in the sunshine, accompanied by just a heart emoji. Louis initially rose to fame as one-fifth of the chart-topping boy band One Direction, who first became known on The X Factor in 2010. In the years since, Louis has embarked on a number of different ventures, including a short-lived stint playing for his hometown's team, Doncaster Rovers; a solo music career (which has so far seen him release two albums, the most recent of which topped the UK albums chart in 2022); and even judging the TV talent show on which he first found fame. Zara, meanwhile, first appeared on the fourth season of Love Island in 2018 and, like Louis, subsequently competed on The X Factor, albeit the celebrity version. More recently, she's fronted a number of documentaries for the BBC, exploring topics like revenge porn, stalking and social media. In 2022, she competed on Strictly Come Dancing, where she was the fifth celebrity to be eliminated. Louis has previously dated model Eleanor Calder, stylist Briana Jungwirth (with whom he shares a nine-year-old son, Freddie) and former Disney actor Danielle Campbell. Zara was previously in a relationship with fellow reality star Sam Thompson for five years until they parted ways towards the end of 2024. Earlier this year, Louis and Sam , which the latter spoke about at the time on his podcast.

Vernon Kay hits back ‘how stupid do you think I am' after Tess Daly question
Radio presenter Vernon Kay joked 'how stupid do you think I am' when discussing a segment on his show about people who give their partners the 'ick'. Co-star Tina Daheley posed the question after reading the news on Vernon's BBC Radio 2 show yesterday (Friday, August 8). Vernon's co-star tried to explain the concept of the 'ick' by describing it as bad habits that "drive you mad". Examples included not putting the toilet seat down, eating loudly, laughing at your own jokes and the way they talk to their mum. He said: "How stupid do you think I am? Behave yourself. I'm full of a cold. I've got the flu. I've got a bit icky myself. "I'm looking forward to a nice quiet weekend. I don't want to have a nice, quiet weekend on my own." Tina quickly clarified that she was asking if Tess has any 'icks' about him, with Vernon retorting: "Oh, there's loads." Vernon, 51, and Tess, 56, tied the knot in 2003. They share daughters Phoebe, 20, and 15-year-old Amber. It comes after the TV and radio star admitted he was mocked by staff in a supermarket over a "senior moment" as he was almost "done for thieving'. He was doing some shopping in an unnamed supermarket earlier this week when he was shocked to realise he had not paid for his food. Fortunately for Vernon he had only just left the store and was able to return and sheepishly apologise for his transgression. Vernon told the story on his radio show: 'I had a senior moment this morning, it could have got me into trouble. I went to a very famous supermarket which is in Marylebone Station and I scanned my food, walked out. 'I went, 'Ah!' Could have been horrendous, could have been absolutely horrendous and the lady, when I walked back, she was just absolutely laughing her head off. She went, 'I saw you, didn't say anything because I knew you'd realise'. 'It was so funny, imagine that, shocking, but it was one of those things where I just scanned my food and wondered off, didn't even think about it because I thought I'd tapped, I hadn't. You know you're old when you get done for thieving.' Vernon got his big television break as a presenter on T4 back in 2000. His other major credits include All Star Family Fortunes and as a co-presenter on the short-lived reality TV show Splash! He also came third in season 20 of I'm A Celebrity.... Get Me Out of Here! The series, held in Wales rather than the Australian jungle due to Covid-19, saw podcaster Giovanna Fletcher win with Radio 1 presenter Jordan North finishing runner-up.

Mariah Carey finally learns of Katy Perry's space adventure: 'This is true?'
Perry was part of Blue Origin's all-female spaceflight on April 14. Mariah Carey fans are loving a video of her learning about Katy Perry's trip to space — almost four months after the fact. The singer was asked in an interview if she would like to go to space as Perry did, but Carey expressed some disbelief: "Did she go to space?" Scott Mills, the host of The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC's Radio 2 assured the powerhouse vocalist that, yes, Perry had. "Where'd she go?" Carey asked again. Mills looked at her quizzically. "Space?" he offered. The "Last Friday Night" singer joined CBS journalist Gayle King, and four others for an all-female commercial spaceflight on April 14 through space-tech company Blue Origin, which is owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. The journey took a little more than 10 minutes. Carey couldn't get over it. "Into orbit and back? She's, like, floating?" Carey asked. "And this is true?" The host assured the star that it was factual. "Wow," Carey said. "All right, Katy." She added, "I'm not mad at her. That's pretty amazing." Mills appeared to tease Carey when he said, "Well, I mean, she hasn't stopped talking about it since, but it happened." Mills then got back to his original question: Would Carey go to space?" "I think I've done enough," Carey replied, much to the internet's show's share of the video was full of comments including "iconic" and brilliant." "I love that Mariah just lives in her own bubble!" another person wrote. "What a queen." The prolific singer is known for her very Mariah comments. In October, for instance, when the superstar was told that she should have more Grammys — she's won five, but has been nominated 34 times — she agreed. "They scaaaaammed me," she said on the Las Culturistas podcast. "They toy with me." Most famously, Carey insisted in an early 2000s interview that she wasn't aware of her fellow singer Jennifer Lopez, which led to rumors of a feud that have since been debunked.
