
OCO distributes Ramadan aid in Yemen
Salalah – Oman Charitable Organization (OCO) is distributing Ramadan aid in Hadhramaut governorate and around it in Yemen. This is part of the sultanate's ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the people of Yemen.
The initiative aims to ease the financial burden on needy families by providing essential food baskets through a structured distribution mechanism, ensuring aid reaches those most in need in coordination with relevant authorities.
Officials in Hadhramaut expressed their gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and the sultanate for their unwavering support. They commended OCO's efforts in assisting vulnerable families, particularly amid the economic challenges facing the governorate.
Badr al Zaabi, Acting CEO of OCO, affirmed that this aid is an extension of Oman's longstanding humanitarian commitment to Yemen and that distribution efforts will continue ensuring support reaches the largest possible number of deserving families.

HM the Sultan sends verbal message to Emir of Kuwait

Fifth edition of Omani-Bahraini Products Exhibition opens in Salalah
Salalah: The fifth edition of the Omani-Bahraini Products Exhibition opened on Sunday in the wilayat of Salalah. The event is organised by the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman and Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry's branch in Dhofar Governorate. The event will run for ten days. The exhibition aims to provide entrepreneurs from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and productive families with an opportunity to showcase their products and enhance their quality. It features 53 participants from Oman and Bahrain at the Salalah Gardens Mall, as part of the Khareef Dhofar (monsoon) season activities. The exhibition includes a wide range of products, such as handicrafts, pottery, and traditional attire that reflect the cultural and environmental heritage of the two brotherly nations. The exhibition serves as an economic and cultural platform that reflects the deep fraternal ties between Oman and Bahrain, embodying the spirit of cooperation and partnership. This supports development efforts and fosters opportunities for integration across various fields. The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of Faisal Abdullah Al Rowas, Chairman of Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of several dignitaries and officials.
