We're still processing the shocking season three finale of The White Lotus, but one thing we can definitely wrap our heads around? The show's glowy vacation beauty looks.
According to makeup artist Rebecca Hickey, Saie Beauty was used to create the final looks for Chelsea, played by Aimee Lou Wood, and Kate, played by Leslie Bibb. The clean beauty brand has been used across all three seasons of the HBO series for its 'less is more' approach to makeup.
'Their products are clean, easy to use, and perfectly align with my philosophy of less is more,' Hickey says. Some of her favorites? 'The Dew Blush and The Sun Melt can be swept over the eyelid to give a little color, while the Slip Tint Moisturizer can be reapplied all day to protect your skin from the harmful UV Rays,' she says.
Season four is already confirmed, which means there's more drama, murder, and vacation beauty on the way. Until then, we'll be re-creating this sun-kissed look all spring and summer long. Below, Hickey shares the full beauty breakdown for Chelsea and Kate in The White Lotus finale.
'I loved to prep Chelsea's skin with the Saie Glowy Super Gel as the first step to create the most luminous base on her skin. It's hydrating and brightening and perfect to achieve her healthy natural glow.'
$16.00, Amazon
'It's the perfect product to use in heat and humidity when basic foundation won't cut it. I love that this is lightweight with the perfect amount of coverage to even out Chelsea's skin without feeling too heavy. Bonus: It's SPF 35, perfect for those sunny days.'
$36.00, Amazon
'This blush in the color Poppy was an obvious choice for Chelsea's finale look. It's sheer enough to be a natural tint but can be buildable for a more dramatic look. Its hydrating formula gives the perfect amount of glow to the cheeks for that dewy vacation look.'
$25.00, Amazon
'The perfect complement to Kate's milky skin. I love to apply this with the warmth of my finger and tap it on the apples of her cheeks to create that healthy, youthful look.'
$26.00, Amazon
'I love this bronzer, with its balmy texture that nourishes while melting right into the skin. We want to mimic the sun-kissed look without the harmful damage. This is a buildable formula but looks like your skin, only better. The perfect way to give Kate's character a little end of vacay glow.'
$32.00, Amazon

Amazon Billionaire Jeff Bezos' Mother Dies at 78—2 Years After He Moved to Florida To Be Closer to Her

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos' mother, Jacklyn, has died at the age of 78, just two years after the billionaire businessman moved across the country to Florida in order to spend more time with her. Bezos, 61, announced his mom's passing in a touching tribute posted to his Instagram account, in which he praised the way in which she cared for both him and his siblings—having become a mother when she was just a teenager. The businessman, who recently married his new wife, Lauren Sanchez Bezos, in a stunning ceremony in Venice, also shared his mother's cause of death, revealing that she passed away after a "long fight with Lewy Body Dementia." "Her adulthood started a little bit early when she became my mom at the tender age of 17," he wrote. "That couldn't have been easy, but she made it all work. She pounced on the job of loving me with ferocity, brought my amazing dad onto the team a few years later, and then added my sister and brother to her list of people to love, guard, and nourish. "For the rest of her life, that list of people to love never stopped growing. She always gave so much more than she ever asked for. "After a long fight with Lewy Body Dementia, she passed away today, surrounded by so many of us who loved her — her kids, grandkids, and my dad. I know she felt our love in those final moments. We were all so lucky to be in her life. I hold her safe in my heart forever." His wife was one of the first to express words of condolence in the comments section, writing: "We will miss her SO much. Love you." Jackie welcomed her son in 1964, when she was just 17 years old and living in Albuquerque, NM. Bezos' biological father, Ted Jorgensen, was just 19 at the time. However, Jorgensen struggled with alcohol issues—and the two, who had wed, quickly divorced, with Jackie later moving herself and her infant son back in with her parents. When Bezos was 4, she wed Mike Bezos, a Cuban immigrant with whom she welcomed two more children; he later legally adopted her first-born son and the Amazon CEO proudly refers to him as his father. Jacklyn, who was known widely as Jackie, is understood to have passed away inside her home near Miami, a stunning waterfront estate made up of two adjacent mansions, which were purchased in 2022 via an LLC linked to Bezos. According to multiple reports at the time, the Coral Gables homes cost a combined $78 million, and have been used by the tech mogul's mother and father as their primary residence ever since. Such was Bezos' close bond with both of his parents that he announced in 2023 he was relocating from his primary residence in a Seattle suburb to Miami so that he could be closer to his mom and dad, who were already living in the Sunshine State. "My parents have always been my biggest supporters," he wrote in a November 2023 Instagram post. "They recently moved back to Miami, the place we lived when I was younger (Miami Palmetto High class of '82 — GO Panthers!) I want to be close to my parents, and Lauren and I love Miami." At the time, despite Bezos' insistence that his relocation was motivated solely by his desire to live closer to his mom and dad, many noted that the move also had another significant benefit: he'd save about $600 million in income taxes, according to CNBC. Still, the businessman had long held a connection to Florida—and Miami in particular—having purchased a staggering estate on the city's famed enclave of Indian Creek Island earlier that year. The property is actually made up of an adjacent pair of mansions that sit on the west side of the island—which were bought in 2023 for $68 million and $79 million, respectively, according to property records. Then, in 2024, Bezos made a surprise third property purchase on "Billionaire Bunker," buying an $87 million six-bedroom mansion that sits some distance from his other two homes on the island. All three deals were conducted via separate trusts, property records show, and only one of the homes had been publicly listed for sale before being snapped up by Bezos, with two of the deals taking place off market. According to reports, the third property will be used by Bezos and his now-wife as their primary residence while workers raze the other two homes to make way for the couple's dream marital compound. It's unclear whether they will hold onto the third abode when this work is completed. Though he relocated to Florida full-time, Bezos still owns a trove of homes in the tony Seattle suburb of Medina, where he lived for many years with his first wife, MacKenzie Scott. Four years after he founded Amazon, Bezos spent $10 million, along with now-ex-wife Scott, buying up two homes that sit on a 5-acre plot in the town of Hunts Point. In 2010, the duo reportedly spent $28 million to extensively renovate the estate, which boasts 310 feet of private shoreline and a private boathouse. To maximize space (and privacy), Bezos also purchased an adjacent property that same year—a 24,000-square-foot mansion that was reportedly listed for $53 million. It is unclear whether the Amazon CEO paid that hefty sum or managed to snag a discount. That home would ultimately serve as the business mogul's primary residence for the next decade until 2023, when he announced his move to Florida. Though he still holds the keys to much of his Seattle property portfolio, Bezos did offload one home in April of this year, selling it off for an astonishing $63 million, according to the Puget Sound Business Journal. Bezos made a very hefty profit on the sale of the 9,240-square-foot home, having purchased it for $37.5 million in 2019, the same year he divorced his ex-wife. Solve the daily Crossword

Everyone's watching 'The Hunting Wives.' It's not just because of the sex.

It's part soapy drama, part erotic thriller and a whole lot of fun. Don't take it too seriously. When The Hunting Wives star Jaime Ray Newman was on a small ferry outside of Vancouver Island last week, she learned firsthand just how much buzz the sexy drama has created. Newman, who plays fiery, red-haired Texan Callie, overheard a group of friends debating what to binge-watch next. When one of them mentioned The Hunting Wives, two women on the boat who weren't part of the group interjected: "Oh my God, we just finished that. Have you seen it yet?" "All of a sudden, the whole boat started talking about the damn Hunting Wives," Newman tells Yahoo. She had changed her hair since the show came out, so she wasn't immediately recognizable. But when a producer she was with pointed her out to the group, they started to freak out. "All of a sudden, I was Julia Roberts on the boat. Everyone wanted selfies." It's a clear sign of how The Hunting Wives is the show of the moment. Last week, it pulled in over 2 billion minutes viewed on Netflix, according to data analytics platform Luminate. That was more than double its debut week numbers, an impressive accomplishment for a show licensed for only U.S. streaming. It remains in Netflix's Top 10. Based on May Cobb's bestselling novel, the series follows Sophie (Brittany Snow), who moves with her family from Boston to Texas. As she settles into the small town, Sophie becomes dangerously entangled with a socialite named Margo (Malin Akerman), spiraling into obsession, seduction and murder. Politics, guns and a touch of campy dialogue are thrown in too. Beyond the premise, what's so resonant about this raunchy series? The shock factor From steamy scenes to unexpected plot twists, The Hunting Wives pushes the envelope. That's especially true with how the series explores sex. There's the unconventional marital arrangement between Margo and her husband, Jed Banks — a debauched oil tycoon played by Dermot Mulroney — which allows them both to sleep with other women. And they both do … a lot. Akerman's character ultimately shares intimate moments with both Snow's and Newman's. There's also a storyline of her sleeping with the son of her best friend, a barely legal teen. Aside from 2021's Sex/Life, this might be the most risqué original series Netflix has ever released. Up until just two months ago, The Hunting Wives was actually slated to premiere on Starz. As Snow told Glamour, the cast filmed the series believing it would land with a smaller audience and potentially become a 'cult classic.' But Netflix changed the equation — and with a much bigger streaming audience comes a lot more opinions. As for the nudity, yes, it's meant to be provocative. 'Nobody who puts this many naked people on TV does it entirely for educational or creative purposes,' Linda Holmes wrote for NPR, while also pointing out how 'everybody seems to be having a transparently great time.' Snow told Glamour she didn't find that nude scenes were 'gratuitously done, where we're showing this shot of a woman's body for no reason.' 'It's all part of the story that needs to be told, specifically because of Margo's coercion and power and making these moves on Sophie, the sex scenes need to happen because Margo uses her sexuality and prowess to make sure that Sophie feels like she's finally being seen,' she said. This show isn't just buzzy because of the sex, although Episode 7's pegging scene might be the most jaw-dropping moment of them all. "Respectfully, the entire meat of the series is its indescribable, inescapable, horniness,' Rolling Stone says. There are plenty of wild antics that make The Hunting Wives an unhinged binge. In one episode, the hunting wives load up for a boar hunt, and after Callie calmly finishes one off, the women celebrate with a boozy brunch of mimosas, gossip and a game of never-have-I-ever that ends with a manslaughter confession. That abruptly ends the party … until two characters embark on an alcohol-and-Xanax rager and invite younger men over for a game of spin the bottle. There's also enough political satire to ruffle both sides of the aisle. Akerman has said her character was inspired by Melania Trump, and an abortion storyline comes with a side of anti-abortion posturing. Critics have called it a 'bonkers, bisexual culture-war soap,' with each episode going further than expected. While all that chaos keeps the entertainment dialed all the way up, it's part of the show's charm. This isn't a prestige drama like Succession or The Crown — it's your new guilty pleasure, dripping in scandal and served with a cold glass of whiskey. Beneath the sex, power plays and whodunit murder mystery, The Hunting Wives knows exactly what it is: a glossy, high-octane escape that doesn't take itself too seriously. Escapism at its finest With its biting one-liners — "she's a coastal elite with a body count" or "open marriages are for liberals" — chaotic Southern style, The Hunting Wives is about having a good time. "There are serious things that we're dealing with, but we come off the [storylines] quickly. We want to entertain," Newman says, crediting showrunner Rebecca Cutter for this no-holds-barred approach. "Oftentimes shows pussyfoot a little bit. They're a little too scared to upset this group, a little scared to upset that demographic. So they end up just playing it so down the middle, and Rebecca has no fear," Newman continues. "She threads that very delicate needle. Every now and then, you get a writer who comes along who just speaks to everyone.' The Hunting Wives certainly speaks to a female audience. The show offers complex, unapologetic characters who break the mold, telling stories that entertain an often-overlooked demographic. Although Sex and the City paved the way in 1998, it's rare to find TV shows centered on female desire and ambition, especially when it comes to portraying women over the age of 40. SATC spin-off And Just Like That... was recently canceled after three seasons, highlighting the challenge of sustaining these narratives. The Hunting Wives rises to the occasion, offering a bold exploration of women navigating power, intimacy and self-discovery without hesitation. 'Why can't women talk about wanting to have sex and be pleased?" Newman asks. 'Most stories are centered around men's pleasure, but finally, we get to be the forefront of these stories. So I think it's about time." This perspective in storytelling is speaking to audiences, especially as women are increasingly demanding their voices and experiences be heard. "Thank God we have writers like Rebecca to clear the way for us. People are so interested,' Newman says. 'You can see that [portraying] women in their 40s garners huge audiences." Will there be a Season 2? There's no official word yet on whether Netflix plans to greenlight a second season, but if the show stays at the top of the charts and the tip of everyone's tongues, it's hard to imagine why the streaming giant wouldn't invest. Newman says the cast and crew all hope it happens. "I cannot express enough the bond that we all had on this set. There was not a bad apple among the bunch. It's very rare to experience that. We all came into the show very seasoned,' she says. 'That is also the benefit of casting women who've been around for a long time. We've all seen good behavior and bad behavior on set." Newman is happy to leave the bad behavior on your TV screens. If that offends you, too bad. "Listen, maybe there are a few people that this angers, but whatever," she says. "Find another show." Carrie Bradshaw's Cat Tree Is Worth The Splurge

I got Crosby, a friendly Russian blue-tabby mix, as a kitten. As sweet as he is, almost a year later, he still hadn't grown out of some problematic behavior. The arms of my couch were in shreds and my partner and I hadn't gotten a good night's sleep in months. At night, Crosby loved to run around our room, jump on the bed and claw at the curtains. If we kicked him out, he'd meow and tear at the carpet until we let him in again. We tried all of Google's top suggestions: scratching pads, rosemary spray, calming treats — some were semi-successful, but nothing really worked. I knew Crosby needed a place of his own to sleep, but let's be honest, most cat condos are total eyesores. Although… there was one that kept coming across my Instagram: the Mau wooden cat climbing tree. It was the most beautiful cat tree I'd ever seen and it included a basket bed. It even made a cameo in the most recent season of 'And Just Like That,' when protagonist Carrie Bradshaw assembled it for her kitty, Shoe. (Who, according to the Los Angeles Times, was actually adopted by Sarah Jessica Parker in 2023.) One of the reasons why I decided to invest in a quality cat tree was learning why they're important for cats' well-being. In previous HuffPost reporting, cat behaviorist Stephanie Merlin explained that '[c]ats are both predator and prey, so having a high vantage point is a natural way to help them feel safe and secure.' The different levels and features — like the dangling fluffy ball and roped branch on the Mau tree — encourage play, counteracting boredom. PSA: If your cat is clawing your stuff, they're probably bored. Putting together the Mau cat tree was super simple and only took a few minutes. It just involved connecting the big pieces together using a screwdriver. Once it was assembled, came the big test: Would it be used or be ignored? Crosby noticed his new hangout right away. He sniffed around the base before jumping up to the second platform, eventually jumping up to the basket bed. And then… he went to sleep. Sometimes, Crosby sits on the lower padded level. But usually, you'll find him asleep in the wicker basket. Whenever he's not playing, this is where I find him. It's also (blessedly) where he sleeps at night. The nighttime transition didn't happen immediately; it took time. But now, Crosby knows he has a nice cozy place to sleep and he doesn't wake me up until he's hungry. (Well, most of the time.) Last month, the base of the cat tree became stripped at the screw entry point, causing the tree to collapse. It's nothing against the structure; it happened due to plain old wear and tear. I contacted Mau and they responded immediately, offering to send a new base for free. Amazing, right? Fortunately, Crosby only had to go a few days without his cat tree. Still on the fence about buying it? Check out these reviews from other Amazon shoppers: Get it from Amazon for $259 (available in three colors).
