Love Is Blind UK star storms off show & says ‘get this mic off me' after branding co-star ‘disrespectful' in fiery rant

LOVE Is Blind UK has had a very dramatic start with one star storming off after being branded "disrespectful" by their co-star.
Emma and Matt Willis returned to host the second series, as the pods opened for 30 new singletons to try their luck at finding someone to marry.

Gaming entrepreneur Kieran, 30, made an impression on two girls in particular, Megan and Sophie.
But he quickly confessed that his head was "in a bit of a pickle" as he struggled to decide between the two.
In a bold move, Kieran decided to leave Megan a personal gift, but that didn't sit well with rival Sophie.
She later confronted him and slammed him for being "disrespectful" and "really rude".
An annoyed Sophie said: "Your actions have made your intentions very clear."
Kieran responded: "I have made a strong connection elsewhere."
Sophie fired back: "I bring a lot to the table, I want to be with someone that sees that."
She continued: "I wouldn't do that to you because it's a s*** feeling.
"If you truly cared about how I felt you wouldn't have put me in that position.
"I'm a prize, like I'm a catch and on the outside world you would see that so I'm not here to beg you to love me."
Love Is Blind UK star leaves viewers 'feeling physically sick' as he details his VERY unique job
Getting increasingly upset, Sophie exited the pod and tearfully said: "I just feel I'm done now."
She was then seen storming off and exclaimed: "F*** this, someone needs to get this mic off me."
Kieran ended up choosing Megan and they got engaged, but it was teased at the end of episode four that Sophie will come back for a cast mixer and stir up trouble with another man.
Manchester-based Sophie, 28, admitted she's been single since her five-year relationship ended last year, but doesn't think she's ever been in love.
Netflix teased: "Sophie admits she can be confrontational but thinks her over-protective dad and four brothers could be the reason she's still single.
"She's most attracted to men who can stand up for themselves and won't let her walk all over them."
Elsewhere, one contestant caught the attention of fans thanks to his unique life path.
While introducing himself to singer Aanu, Patrick Justus revealed that he was a human design coach.
Explaining it was "like a lifecoach but using a system called spiritual design', Patrick's biggest mantra in life was to "trust your spleen", noting that "splenic energy" was a bigger force than a gut instinct.
Speaking in the pods to potential match Yolanda, Patrick said that he follows his spleen "literally to the second", later adding: "Listening to my spleen is the best way to find the love of his life."
While it didn't win over Yolanda or another hopeful, Catherine, the idea intrigued singer Aanu, who sparked a connection with him.
But viewers were left baffled by his continued discussion of his spleen in conversation – with some left turned off by the chat, despite finding Patrick charming, saying it made them feel ill.
"I loveee Patrick, do you know how nice you have to be for me to ignore the fact you keep mentioning your spleen??" wrote one on X (formerly Twitter).
"Please the word 'spleen' is just making me cringe and feel physically sick. How many times are we going to have to hear this nonsense" said a second.
"This bloke and his damn SPLEEN, his spleen should have told him to stay home," said a third.

Anne's milestone 75th birthday marked with new photograph

A new photograph of the Princess Royal has been released to mark her 75th birthday. Anne, who celebrates her three-quarters-of-a-century milestone on Friday, is pictured with an amused smile as she stands near a window outside her Gatcombe Park home. The King's sister, often hailed as the hardest-working member of the royal family, has eschewed any major public commemorations for her big day, preferring to host a special forum for her charities in June instead. She is said to be spending the day sailing around the Western Isles of Scotland with her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, and marking her birthday privately. The official portrait, taken by celebrated photographer John Swannell last month, shows Anne wearing a clean-lined colour-blocked royal blue dress with a contrasting bright white high collar, matching cuffs and white buttoned central trim. Anne, who is known for re-wearing her outfits even decades later, was pictured in the same dress at The King's Foundation Awards at St James's Palace in June. The image captures a relaxed-looking Anne, with her hair self-styled in her signature bouffant, resting her hand on a stone windowsill at Gatcombe. It was from the princess's Gloucestershire estate just over a year ago that Anne was taken to hospital after she was believed to have been struck by a horse. She was treated in intensive care for concussion and minor head injuries, spending five nights at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. The princess, who was back on royal duties less than three weeks later, has said she has no memory of the incident but now views every day as a 'bonus'. Last month the Royal Mint unveiled the first official UK coin to honour Anne, created in celebration of her birthday and lifetime of service. Swannell was also tasked with taking the official photographs for Anne's 70th, and previously photographed Diana, Princess of Wales and her sons, the late Queen for her official diamond jubilee portrait in 2012, Sir Tony Blair, Sir Michael Caine and Sir Elton John. Another image of Anne by photographer Chris Jackson was released last week showing the princess in a tiara and gown with Sir Tim on the night of the Windsor Castle state banquet for French President Emmanuel Macron.

New portrait to mark Princess Anne's 75th birthday

The Princess Royal has posed for her 75th birthday portrait with a sparkle in her eye and the flicker of a smile. Princess Anne, who is celebrating the milestone on Friday, was pictured by John Swannell, her favoured photographer, outside her Gatcombe Park home. Mr Swannell also photographed the Princess on her 40th, 50th and 60th birthdays. In keeping with her no-nonsense reputation, she has eschewed birthday parties and public commemorations, preferring instead to host more than 100 of her charities at Buckingham Palace in June. She spent the occasion shaking the hands of as many of the 200-plus guests as possible, thanking them for their work. The Princess is said to be spending the day sailing around the Western Isles of Scotland with Vice-Adml Sir Tim Laurence, her husband. The official portrait, which was taken last month, shows her wearing a clean-lined royal blue dress with a contrasting white collar, matching cuffs and white-buttoned central trim. The Princess, who is known for re-wearing outfits sometimes decades later, much like her elder brother the King, was pictured in the same dress at The King's Foundation Awards at St James's Palace in June. She appears relaxed in the image, with her hair self-styled in her signature bouffant, as she rests her hand on a stone windowsill. The Princess has regularly been named the hardest working royal, carrying out more public engagements than any of her family members with little attention or fanfare. She spent her last working day before her birthday visiting a Liverpool stable, a Cheshire oat miller and an animal feed factory. This week, charity leaders have praised their patron, hailing the Princess's commitment and empathy. Tanya Curry, the chief executive of MND, described the Princess as 'very strategic in her thinking, but has a real ability to make it feel very personable for people and that it really matters'. She added: 'I think she's incredibly kind, and actually just her human approach comes across to people. She really understands the audience... she asks the most insightful questions, and she asks you the right questions.' Referring to an upcoming private audience with the Princess, Moazzam Malik, the chief executive of Save the Children, said: 'We know each other well… we'll talk about the work that we're trying to do as an organisation, our strategy, our new strategy for the next two-year period, the challenges that we face as a sector. 'I'm sure she'll have good advice for me, rooted in her 55 years of partnership with us. And I will be listening carefully, because I don't have any other colleagues who have been around for quite so long.' In June 2024, the Princess was rushed to hospital after she was believed to have been kicked by a horse. She was treated for concussion and minor head injuries in an intensive care unit, spending five nights at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. Returning to royal duties less than three weeks later, she admitted to having no memory of the incident, but said she now views every day as a 'bonus'.

Strictly Come Dancing star George Clarke reveals he's dating a stunning lingerie model just hours before signing up to BBC show

Strictly Come Dancing star George Clarke revealed he's dating a stunning lingerie model just hours before signing up to BBC show. Fans claimed on Reddit that the YouTuber, 25, confirmed he was dating lingerie model Yasmin Amelia during a live stream on social media. Amelia boasts almost 30k followers on Instagram and is signed to J'adore Models agency. The pair follow each other on social media. One wrote: 'Caught me off guard because he is a very private person specially about his dating/love life. Even on the pod he has expressed his desire to keep things private and off socials. 'Often relies on the 'can't talk to women'/catfish story to dodge specific relationship questions. 'Wonder whose idea it really was to all of a sudden hard launch his month and a half long relationship?' The fan explained that they saw clips from George's live stream and that he'd said the name 'Yasmin A.' '[He] confirmed he follows her insta and requested to give her space to be her own person,' they said. Another remarked: 'I heard about this on his stream and I'm genuinely happy for him!' Daily Mail has contacted George's representatives for comment. George was announced as the sixth celebrity contestant for Strictly Come Dancing 2025. But his showbiz roots go deeper than his online personality, because his dad is the studio boss at an iconic British production company. George's dad is Sean Clarke, the managing director of Aardman Animations - the studio behind British institution Wallace and Gromit. Fans were shocked to discover his nepo baby status, writing on social media: 'This is blowing my mind!' Starting out at the company in 1998, George's dad Sean worked his way up, co-producing Early Man and the two Shaun The Sheep movies - and in 2019 was announced as the new boss of the whole operation. Usually kids look to their parents for inspiration, but Sean has previously admitted his son's YouTube success inspired him to make changes at Aardman. Speaking to The Times in June, Sean shared his desire to lead the animation company into the world of TikTok ahead of its 50th anniversary next year. He said: 'Over the last three years I've seen George's success as a YouTuber and it's been interesting to see the power of nurturing your community and understanding your brand. 'In the future we launch characters on TikTok and we don't have to overthink the backstory. 'They're just funny characters that people want to share organically and then once I can go to the market and say, '20 million people love these characters, now we want to tell some stories,' it turns this thing on its head.' Before working at Aardman, Sean was working for Disney as their UK Licensing Director. In a nod to his father's role, George owned a white hamster called Gromit - who he previously revealed his family had to buy after he dropped him at the pet shop. Discovering his father's job, fans wrote: 'HE'S A NEPO BABY!?'; 'I can't believe this it's blowing my mind.' 'HANG ONNNNNNN…. George's dad owns the company that made Wallace and Gromit? Is this all well known?! I had zero idea!'; 'Not his dad being in charge of Wallace and Gromit.' YouTuber and podcaster George will enter the famous ballroom when Strictly returns to BBC One and BBC iPlayer this September. George Clarke, also known as George Clarkey, is a British YouTuber, podcaster and social media star known to millions online. Born and raised in the UK, George began experimenting with video content as a teenager, quickly discovering the power of humour and honesty to connect with people around the world. Since then he has built a thriving digital career with millions of followers across YouTube , TikTok , and Instagram, drawn to his authenticity and sharp comedic voice. He also co-hosts The Useless Hotline Podcast, which has proven so popular it has led to a series of live shows across the UK. On joining Strictly Come Dancing, George said: 'Never thought I'd say this… but I'm doing Strictly! Honestly, I've got no idea what I'm doing but I'm excited to get stuck in … and potentially fall over a fair bit.' The news was revealed on BBC Radio 1's Going Home Drivetime Show this afternoon. George has built up a huge following on TikTok with an impressive 1.52million fans and has 679,000 on Instagram. He is also often seen teaming up with TikToker Max Balegde as the pair host their podcast together.
