Carter Mareko to Isaac Fotu-Moala to Dayne Jennings. Rinse and repeat.
The Central Coast Sports College trio were first class as they led a first-half demolition of Westfields to book their spot in the Peter Mulholland Cup finals.
The trio combined to help set up or score five tries in the first half, as Central Coast stormed their way to a 42-10 win at McCredie Oval.

It was a simple gameplan that was executed to perfection and that will haunt Jason Demetriou's players at Westfields Sports High as they spend the next year wondering just what happened.
Fotu-Moala opened the scoring inside three minutes after supporting a Jennings line break back through the middle.
The slick five-eighth did it twice more in the first half, with Mareko and Jennings taking turns setting him up with their sharp footwork beating the front line.
Fotu-Moala's first half hat-trick was separated by a double to flying winger Corbin Devaney who made little mistake on the end of almost carbon copy inside work from the school's star trio.
It was a first half blitz with Central Coast scoring 32-unanswered points before the break.
Westfields will take plenty away from their second half performance, with the injection of utility back Cooper Carr sparking the fight from the western Sydney nursery.
Hayden Bell tried his heart out at dummy-half while skipper Zain Alameddine had a hand in both of the school's second half tries.
With the win Central Coast move to second in Pool D with a 2-1 record, progressing to the finals for the second-straight season along with pool leaders St Gregory's College.
Westfields, who have now missed the finals two years in a row, will have to wait for next year's Peter Mulholland Cup to make their mark on the NRL Schoolboys Cup.
It's not the end of the action though, with several of the school's top stars heading away with the NSW CHS side next month at the ASSRL National Championships.
PREVIEW
Everything is on the line as Westfields Sports High and Central Coast Sports College go to battle in round three of the Peter Mulholland Cup.
A spot in the quarter-finals awaits the winner, while the loser has to wait another 12 months for their shot at glory.
The match will be exclusively live streamed on KommunityTV from 12pm Thursday.
It wasn't always the case for WSHS to find itself in this position, when they trailed by 14 against Hills Sports High with a little over 10 minutes to play.
From that point on their season changed, finishing with a flourish to keep them on track to advance to the next stage.
'I felt we looked a lot more cohesive in our second game,' Westfields coach Jason Demetriou said.
'We still have to tidy up some of our discipline, but there were some exciting signs. We come into this third game with a bit more fluency and are looking forward to the challenge.'
Demetriou praised the way his troops were able to stick with it, not being disheartened by the scoreline and finding a way to claw out a win.
'I was really impressed with our resilience,' he said.
'To go almost the length (to win the game) with all our key players touching the ball, it was an impressive way to seal the game.
'Zain (Alameddine) was outstanding for us. In key moments he wanted the ball in his hands and when you have your captain wanting the ball like that, it's a good sign.
'Hayden Bell control the ruck really well and I thought our middles were really strong. Every player contributed.'
He knows the task that awaits his side against a strong Central Coast outfit, but hopes they can take their upwards trajectory into the most important game of the season to date.
'For us it's to take the lessons (out of those first two games),' he said.
'I want us to take some confidence out of it too. Being able to get our senior players together at training has made a massive difference and the back up in a week helps.
'We're getting better every week.'

First casualty of Cherry-Evans plot falls as Roosters questioned

The first casualty of Daly Cherry-Evans' reported move to the Roosters has fallen with veteran playmaker Sandon Smith officially been given permission to leave. The club has been warned it is heading into murky waters with the former Queensland State of Origin captain struggling to perform for Manly since announcing his decision to leave the cub at the end of the 2025 season. The worst-kept-secret of his move to the Roosters on a one-year-deal has looked worse and worse for the Bondi club as the season progresses with Sam Walker and Hugo Savala beginning to prove they have the potential to be an elite halves pairing. It was easy to see during the Roosters' 64-12 thumping of the Dolphins on Saturday that the Roosters do not even need the services of the Sea Eagles halfback. Giving Cherry-Evans the No. 6 jersey would likely relegate Savala to reserve grade — and it is now clear Smith has been informed he does not have a future at the club. That was confirmed on Monday night when leading NRL reporter Michael Chammas said the Raiders are looking the likely destination for Smith to head. 'Sandon Smith's been given formal permission by the Roosters to negotiate with rival clubs,' Chammas said on Channel 9's 100% Footy. 'He's been in conversations with the Canberra Raiders. The Raiders are looking at some depth. I don't know if it will play out that way, whether or not he wants to go somewhere and start. 'Option are limited.' It comes as the Roosters were warned the club may have made a big mistake in chasing DCE so early in the season. Former Roosters five-eighth Braith Anasta said on Fox League's NRL 360 on Monday night Cherry-Evans' for slump is concerning. 'Walker and Savala, they were great on the weekend,' Anasta said on NRL 360. 'DCE was poor. The DCE issue, I know we've spoken about it a lot, but it's getting bigger because his form is dropping by the game, and Savala was outstanding on the weekend. 'The Roosters have found form. It is a little bit concerning now. They've got him coming in for Savala, and Sandon (Smith) moving on, most likely. 'Every week that goes on, I start going, well, hang on. 'As the year's gone on, his form's dropped. Next year's another year, another year older.' NRL 360 co-host and Broncos icon Gorden Tallis also questioned the Roosters' call. 'Are they getting itchy feet, the Roosters? I'm going to keep on asking until it's confirmed,' he said. 'He's played a lot of footy, right, and father time catches up with everybody, even up heartbreak hill.' Leading rugby league journalist Phil Rothfield said Cherry-Evans move could have deeper ramifications across the Roosters' playing group. 'Walker's got the best short kicking game in the comp, Hugo Savala's got a long distance kick, they combine beautifully,' Rothfield added. 'The thing that worries me about DCE going to Easts, I know what a tight group they've got at the moment. 'I think it might upset the mechanism.' Walker on Monday night said Cherry-Evans would be welcomed to the club if the veteran does make the move at the end of this season. 'Yeah for sure,' he said on Channel 9 when asked about DCE's expected move. 'I've said it the whole time. He's a grand final winner. Captained our state. He's someone I've definitely looked up to as well. To welcome someone of his calibre to our club is exciting. I know us as a club would welcome it.'

InZane Rugby League: Anthony Minichiello - If the Roosters make the eight - they can win the whole thing!

On InZane Rugby League this week Zane Bojack and former Raiders halfback Sam Williams are joined by Roosters premiership captain Anthony Minichiello following the tri-colours stunning 64 to 12 victory over the Dolphins at Lang Park. Minichiello says James Tedesco is in career best form and could push Dylan Edwards for the Australian fullback position in the UK. He also declares Spencer Leniu to be the key to the Roosters premiership tilt. Zane and Sam also discuss the contentious decisions on Spoonbowl Sunday which cost the Gold Coast golden-point extra time and North Queensland victory.

‘Not handling it well': Rugby league icon Ray Warren's sad revelation about retirement

Rugby league icon Ray Warren has revealed he is not handling retirement well and has thought about coming out of retirement if he could call from his own loungeroom. Warren, 82, retired in 2021 after calling 99 State of Origin games and 45 NRL Grand Finals and resisted calls for him to come out of retirement to call one final Origin game last year. FOX LEAGUE, available on Kayo Sports, is the only place to watch every game of every round in the 2025 NRL Telstra Premiership, LIVE with no ad-breaks during play. New to Kayo? Join now and get your first month for just $1. Known as the 'voice of rugby league', Warren's retirement in 2021 saddened the sporting world, namely fans of rugby league, and ever since there have been murmurs he could be convinced to make a return calling major events such as the NRL Grand Final or State of Origin. And on Monday, in a stunning revelation Warren said he had given it some thought as he opened up about why he decided to retire in the first place. 'I am not handling it (my retirement) all that well to be honest,' Warren told 2GB's Mark Levy. You can listen to Ray Warren open up about his retirement in the player above. 'Leaving what I was doing was like cutting off my arm. (But) I was 78 when I gave it away, so I didn't have much longer to go.' Warren also floated the idea that he could call a game from home, but fears it may tarnish his legacy. 'It is flattering (that people want him to come out of retirement) and I guess I love it deep down, but I don't think they realised I was 78 when I gave it away and I didn't want to undo all the good I might have done,' Warren said. 'That's the long and the short of it (why he retired). But now I sit down and think I might be able to do a call from home.' Games being called from TV or radio studios thousands of kilometres away from the venue has been something that has become increasingly popular in mainstream media since Covid. For many games in various sports, commentators no longer call from the grounds, instead preferring offices where they can access more angles. So if Warren was open to returning, it would be possible for him to finally call his 100th State of Origin game or make a special appearance from the comfort of his own home. It would also be something that would undoubtedly attract even more viewers, with the commentating legend adored by the rugby league world. Is it likely that Ray Warren comes out of retirement? The chances of it happening are slim. When Warren was cornered about potentially calling an Origin match in 2024, he promptly shut it down. 'I'd rule that out (a commentary return) almost without any thought at all,' Warren said on Triple M. 'I had a great career – 55 years. At the end of 2021, I decided that that would do me, why would I take that risk of undoing whatever good I might have done.' But never say never, NRL fans can at least dare to dream.
