Paul Heckingbottom suggests personal trainers ban after Daniel Jebbison injury
But he faces a spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury – apparently sustained during fitness work undertaken away from the club.
'I'm angry about it. It's a growing trend in football where they work with people outside – they have their own people,' said Heckingbottom.
'It's an accident, I get it, but it's not happening again with Preston players.
'These guys work with players and they post it all over social media and want to promote their business. They're happy to take the money (but) don't give us any money back when they injure players in their sessions. They'll not be posting on social media that Jebbo's out.
'I'm really angry about that. Really angry. It's for the right (reasons) – it's professional players trying to better themselves. I get that.
'My anger is with the people who work with them and don't suffer when they injure players.
'It was just some gym work and he's rocked his ankle. It was a total accident. It'll be a couple of weeks out.'
QPR head coach Julien Stephan praised Kieran Morgan after the young midfielder was deployed as a makeshift right-back.
Stephan was without a number of players for his first match at the helm, including key defender Jimmy Dunne.
Rangers nevertheless started well and went ahead through Ben Whiteman's own goal following great work on the left by Karamoko Dembele. Milutin Osmajic scored a second-half equaliser for North End.
'I think we did very well, especially in the first half,' said Stephan.
'The players did very well and I like the different movements that we showed. In possession and out of possession it was very good.
'With one point I am not happy, I am not disappointed, I am in the middle.
'I would prefer to win this game but I think we will be able to win these kind of games.
'We had a lot of energy for the first half. It was more difficult in the second half but the players gave everything. They tried to score the second goal.'
The Frenchman added: 'We needed to adapt and Kieran Morgan is a very clever player.
'He did very well as a right full-back because he is clever, but it's not a surprise.
'We tested something during the week with this position. Technically he's strong, he's clever and is also able to close space defensively.'

Joe Gomez returns to Liverpool training ahead of Friday's Premier League opener
Liverpool defender Joe Gomez has returned to training ahead of Friday's Premier League opener at home to Bournemouth in a timely boost for head coach Arne Slot. The 28-year-old, the club's longest-serving current player, returned home from the tour of the Far East early with an Achilles injury and was subsequently sidelined for three weeks. But he was pictured with the rest of his team-mates on Wednesday as preparations ramp up for the defending champions' season opener at Anfield. His absence had left Slot with just two senior centre-backs in Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate and questions had been asked as to whether the Reds boss had left himself light in that area after allowing Jarell Quansah to join Bayer Leverkusen. However, moves are progressing for Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi and Parma's 18-year-old Giovanni Leoni, which would bring better balance to the squad.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka - West Ham United - £4.5m One of the EPL's best defensive full-backs, the Hammers defender had an uplift in his offensive stats last season with eight goal contributions over the season. Graham Potter is also likely to use him as a wing-back more often this year in his favoured system, meaning he could add even more assists to his game in 25/26. Adrien Truffert - Bournemouth - £4.5m With Liverpool up first for the Cherries, it may be worth waiting a week before putting the French full-back into your starting XI. However, the new signing from Rennes will offer lots of offensive threat in the season ahead, with an astonishing 21 goal contributions in Ligue 1 last season. An absolute steal if he can replicate that form in the EPL. Bart Verbruggen - Brighton - £4.5m Looking for a bargain goalkeeper between the sticks? Micky Van de Ven - Tottenham Hotspur - £4.5m With Burnley and Bournemouth to come in their opening games, Spurs are a club most FPL managers should be looking at if they want early points on the board. While they may lose points against Manchester City, who they also face in the opening month of the campaign, but Dutch centre-back is surprisingly cheap for a player of his standing. Expected to play a prominent role for Thomas Frank's men, he could secure you those all-important early points.
