The exchange also caused the charity Camp One Step to remove him from its board of directors.
Zoom out: Bernstein started at the sports station in 1995 and has been part of some of the most successful shows in Chicago sports radio history, including the "Boers and Bernstein" show which ended when co-host Terry Boers retired in 2017.
He's also hosted solo on the station.
