Real Madrid interested in Lewis-Skelly with Arsenal star's deal up in 12 months and contract talks ‘not going well'
MYLES LEWIS-SKELLY is being eyed for a stunning transfer by Real Madrid, according to reports.
The youngster has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign under Mikel Arteta at the Emirates, playing 42 games for the Gunners and chipping in with one goal and three assists.

However, having signed his first professional contract in October 2023, the 18-year-old could already be set to move away from north London and end a decade-long association with the club.
That's because with just one year left on his contract, Real Madrid are now "sniffing around" the situation as they possibly eye another free transfer for an English star.
According to The Guardian, negotiations between the player and Arsenal over new terms are "not going well."
And this has left Spanish giants Real on red alert to sign the England international full-back.

ARSENAL FILES Gunners' huge advantage in Viktor Gyokeres transfer race revealed
The La Liga club are already set to land Liverpool's own English international full-back in Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is leaving the Premier League champions when his contract expires.
Combined with Jude Bellingham already at the club, it means Xabi Alonso's new-look Madrid team could feature as many as three English stars at the Bernabeu.
But ultimately, the player's future could depend on where he is seen as playing long-term.
Lewis-Skelly played as a midfielder during his days in the Hale End Academy, but has primarily starred as a left-back - often inverting - since breaking into the Arsenal first-team.

However, Arteta has hinted at a possible switch into midfield from next season for the teenager.
He said: "He is very intelligent, very willing and very physical. If you have those three ingredients and you have a personality that can go through blips — it can happen — that is Myles. That is what he has done.

"He can do as a 6 and an an 8. It will depend a lot on the relationships and the chemistry with other players, how this evolves within the team.

"And football, which direction it goes , what demands of certain positions as well. He is certainly a player that can play a in lots of positions."
Lewis-Skelly was selected in Thomas Tuchel's latest England squad.
Tuchel deployed him as a full-back in his last two Three Lions' appearances, World Cup qualification clashes against Albania and Latvia in March, the first of which Lewis-Skelly scored in.
Losing him to Los Blancos, who have also been long-term admirers of William Saliba, would be a bitter blow to the Gunners long-term transfer plans.

Arsenal are also in negotiations with fellow starlet Ethan Nwaneri.
In terms of incomings this summer, Arsenal have submitted an offer to land Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres but have been joined in the pursuit by Chelsea.
However, the Blues being boosted after news emerged that Liam Delap wants to join them may give the Gunners a clear shot at the former Coventry ace.

England's Nations League hopes ended by Spain comeback
Alessia Russo put England ahead on her 50th international appearance with a cool finish into the bottom corner, despite Spanish protests that Salma Paralluelo had been fouled in the build-up. But substitute Pina spearheaded the comeback for the world champions, finding an equaliser only moments after being brought on before adding a second 10 minutes later. Defeat meant England finished second in Group A3, while top-of-the-table Spain secured their spot in October's semi-finals. Claudia Pina struck twice for Spain (Bradley Collyer/PA) Next up for the Lionesses is a friendly with Jamaica on June 29 before their European Championship campaign begins against France on July 5. Sarina Wiegman, who is set to announce her squad for the tournament this week, made four changes to the side that beat Portugal on Friday as Niamh Charles, Alex Greenwood, Georgia Stanway and Russo came into the starting line-up. Spain attacked from the offset and Hannah Hampton was called into action early after Paralluelo's corner flew through the box to reach Esther Gonzalez, but she was denied by a brilliant save from the England goalkeeper. The hosts continued to threaten as Gonzalez pounced on a loose Leah Williamson pass before firing her shot well wide and Hampton smothered a teasing ball from Aitana Bonmati. But England took the lead in the 22nd minute when Charles challenged Paralluelo inside her own half and, despite protests for a foul, play continued with Keira Walsh's smart through pass into Russo, who broke forward before rolling the ball into the bottom corner. What it means 🙌 Netting on her 50th cap 👊 — Lionesses (@Lionesses) June 3, 2025 Spain were frustrated further as Paralluelo's cross appeared to hit Charles' hand in the box before Hampton grabbed the ball. The Lionesses had a good opportunity when Beth Mead's free-kick reached Williamson, but her header was comfortably collected by Catalina Coll, while at the other end Gonzalez hit a curling shot over the crossbar. Missy Bo Kearns came on for Stanway at the break to make her senior England debut. But Spain nearly equalised seconds into the half when Olga Carmona's cross found Paralluelo, who fired over the bar. Jess Carter and Chloe Kelly came on for Bronze and Mead, but the hosts continued to dominate with Mariona Caldentey the next to go close, sending her effort over. England missed a spot in the Nations League finals (Bradley Collyer/PA) The hosts eventually earned their reward on the hour mark when a cross was cleared as far as Patri Guijarro, who tapped the ball into Pina to fire home into the far corner. Hampton then saved a Pina free-kick, but the influential Spanish forward soon struck again in the 70th minute with a curling strike from outside of the box. Spain looked to extend their lead as Bonmati sent a shot over the bar before Gonzalez nodded wide and Hampton saved from Bonmati in added time.

PREMIER LEAGUE away ticket prices will continue to be capped at £30. The rule was introduced in 2016 and has resulted in away attendances increasing from 82 to 91 per cent. 1 Prem clubs have unanimously voted for the cap to stay in place. That means next season will be the tenth year away fans will pay £30 or less to watch their teams on the road. It is a win for fans of clubs in the top flight but supporters in the rest of the pyramid are calling for the EFL to implement a similar rule. One fan said: "@EFL Take notes 👍🏼" A third wrote: "Needs to be £20 in the Championship, Division 1 & 2." A total of 953,420 people were at the 380 top-flight matches during the 2024-25 season. But the rule remains in place despite 19 out of 20 Prem clubs raising their prices for home fans.
