IMN, Lebanese Ministry of Labor Discuss Media Support for Joint Projects
The Iraqi Media Network IMN and the Lebanese Ministry of Labor discussed media cooperation between the two countries on Wednesday. The Director of the IMN 's Beirut Office, Ahmed Al-Athari, affirmed the IMN 's readiness to provide media support to highlight projects and plans that serve both peoples.
This came during a visit by the Director of the Iraqi Media Network's Beirut Office, Ahmed Al-Athari, to the Lebanese Ministry of Labor and his meeting with Minister Mohammed Haidar in his office.
During the meeting, the Minister discussed "the Ministry's vision regarding improving and enhancing job opportunities and facilitating procedures for Lebanese working in Iraq and Iraqis working in Lebanon."
He added that "this issue will be discussed in the coming days with his Iraqi counterpart, Ahmed Al-Asadi, and that Lebanon can develop relations with Iraq at the level of the Ministries of Labor, just as they have developed in the medical field and other areas."
In turn, Al- Athari addressed Iraq's warm hospitality in hosting the Lebanese during the recent Zionist aggression against the country, expressing the network's readiness to provide the necessary media support from its Beirut office to shed light on projects and plans that serve the two brotherly peoples and countries.

Delivering Eid al-Adha sermon, al-Khazali referenced official data showing poverty rates in Kurdistan surpassing the national average and attributed the rising number of Kurdish refugees abroad to repeated salary delays.
