‘Pool of blood': US singer found by friend
The Grammy-nominated singer, 48, revealed on her Instagram stories that she suffered a frightening accident that left her seriously injured.
Braxton said she was discovered in a pool of blood by a friend and admitted she 'almost died.'
'I struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can't even really talk anymore I'm so weak,' she began.
'I almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury.
'As the days go by the worse it is,' she continued.
'I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility. The way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins… pray for me for real.
'I don't even know what happened to me.'

Earlier this year, the Let Me Know singer told fans she was prioritising her health ahead of her tour, which is currently underway.
In March, she announced: 'It is OFFICIALLY tour time!!!! Ima tell yall to get yall tickets!! A whole new set list… and the new music STARTS HERE!!!'
Braxton has also recently returned to screens, reuniting with her family for The Braxtons, a WEtv reality series dedicated to her late sister Traci, who died in 2022 from esophageal cancer. The show, which followed the family's journey, has been renewed for a second season.
Toni Braxton said in a trailer for season one: 'The main reason for wanting to do The Braxtons again is because of Traci.'
Their mother, Evelyn 'Miss E' Braxton, added: 'She asked us to do this — this was her last wish.'
In April, Braxton posted a moving tribute on what would have been Traci's 54th birthday, sharing a concert video set to her sister's song Last Call.
Writing in the caption, she said: 'Happy Heavenly Birthday beautiful @therealtracibraxton. We miss you down here sis!! But I know God didn't want to see you sick like that so, he brought you home to himself to heal you. Thank you for being an amazing sister and covering all of us down here'

Brent Hinds, former singer-guitarist for Grammy-winning metal band Mastodon, dies at 51
Brent Hinds, the former singer-guitarist for Grammy-winning heavy metal band Mastodon, has died in a motorcycle accident in Atlanta, the band and authorities said. He was 51. Hinds was killed while riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle late Wednesday night when the driver of a BMW SUV failed to yield while making a turn, according to Atlanta police. Hinds was described as 'unresponsive' at the scene. 'We are heartbroken, shocked and still trying to process the loss of this creative force with whom we've shared so many triumphs, milestones, and the creation of music that has touched the hearts of so many,' the band said on social media. Know the news with the 7NEWS app: Download today Mastodon had three albums rise into the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart and two that topped the Rock Album chart — Emperor Of Sand in 2017 and Once More 'Round The Sun in 2014. Hinds co-founded Mastodon in 2000 with bassist Troy Sanders, guitarist Bill Kelliher and drummer Brann Dailor. Mastodon's third studio album, 2006's Blood Mountain, was their first to reach the Top 40, peaking at No. 32 on the Billboard 200. Hinds left the band in March 2025. No reason for the departure was given. The band said they had 'mutually decided to part ways,' but comments Hinds made on Instagram indicated a rocky relationship with the members of his former band. Credit: Medios y Media / Getty Images 'We're deeply proud of and beyond grateful for the music and history we've shared and we wish him nothing but success and happiness in his future endeavors,' the band said at the time. Mastodon — which forged ferocious metal, progressive wizardry and sludge rock tendencies — earned six Grammy Award nominations, winning one in 2017 for best metal performance for Sultan's Curse from the album Emperor Of Sand. Rolling Stone magazine listed Mastodon's 2011 album The Hunter among its best of the year, saying the band had 'streamlined their molten thrash into a taut thwump that doesn't pull back one bit on their natural complexity of innate weirdness'. Hinds was due to tour Europe later this year with Fiend Without A Face, a band that was once a side project during his years with Mastodon.

Run, don't walk. Viral Vue Bubble crockery range is back in stock at Myer but selling fast: ‘I need'
They're the viral plates, bowls, salt and pepper shakers and mugs that sold out in hours when they first launched at Myer. And now, the viral Vue 'Bubble' range is back and 'selling fast' according to the Myer website, meaning if you've been wanting to invest, now is not the time to hang around. The range comprises dinner sets of bowls and plates that make the perfect addition to your home, as well as cool 'bubbled' salt and pepper mills that give a unique and high-end styling twist. I've got my eye on the on-trend butter yellow 20cm Salt or Pepper Mill, which is currently marked down to just $23.97, which I intend to pair with the smaller 14cm Salt or Pepper Mill, currently $17.97, for a cool assymmetrical look. I also adore the hand-painted Bubble Mugs ($10.77), which will make your morning coffee all the more fun. According to Vue, the collection is perfect for adding some creativity to your food and tables. ' Our newest Vue homewares range steals the spotlight at every meal, dishing up both curves and character,' product description reads. ' Inspired by the bubble plate trend, this dreamy design fuses playful puffiness with sculptural silhouettes adding instant whimsy to every table.' There are a variety of different-sized plates and bowls available, so you can mix and match to your heart's content. Since they first launched the 'Bubble' collection several months ago at Myer, Vue have been enjoying popularity with their dinnerware on both Instagram and TikTok, where homeowners have shown how they have styled the pieces. ' Okay, I need this entire collection,' writes one shopper. ' So beautiful. I love it all,' adds another. ' I love these so much. Brb, buying it all,' writes a third. Many have compared the budget range to higher-end crockery like that from the likes of In The Roundhouse, but at a fraction of the price. Jelena Dokic stuns as the Aussie tennis star looks slimmer than ever while on holiday with her new 'love' Yane Veselinov in Bali
Jelena Dokic has stunned as she popped up in Bali, Indonesia, looking slimmer than ever while on holiday with her new man, Yane Veselinov. The retired tennis great, 42, has publicly chronicled her weight loss journey after shedding around 20 kilos through diet and lifestyle changes. She credits her success to a healthy diet and an exercise regimen, which includes working out at the gym at 6 am while working 18-hour days. Dokic recently went public with her relationship with Veselinov, a Melbourne-based hospitality relations manager, on Instagram. And now the couple have taken their budding romance to the next level, embarking on their first holiday together at the popular tourist destination. Dokic took to Instagram on Thursday to share snaps of the pair enjoying the famed Monkey Forest in Ubud. While viewers loved the happy photos of Jelena beaming beside a couple of monkeys, all eyes were on the tennis great's slimmed-down figure. She donned a fashionable cream midi dress cinched at the waist and adorned with tortoise-shell buttons at the animal sanctuary. Her hair was slicked back in the humid weather, accentuating her slender face and light but flattering makeup. "Great experience. You look lovely!" one fan wrote in the comments. "Looking gorgeous," another person said. Jelena stunned again in another snap of herself donning a bold red lip and white dress with her boyfriend, who she lovingly referred to as "my love". After the couple enjoyed a tropical dinner, they visited the Elephant Safari Park Lodge where Dokic's casual ensemble showed off her muscles. The tennis star opted for a pair of sandals, fuchsia pink linen trousers and a white singlet, under which her well-earned abs were visible. Her dedication to her diet and exercise regimen was even more evident as she posed beside one of the elephants and even fed the giant mammal. More fans flooded the comments of her holiday snaps to praise the star. "I love seeing you looking so radiantly happy, Jelena," one person said. "Enjoy all your rest and recreation." Another fan wrote: "Jelena, you look absolutely stunning and happy". A third person said the tennis great was "looking so happy and relaxed!". Jelena and Yane's getaway comes after she won the Silver Logie for Best Factual or Documentary Program for Unbreakable: The Jelena Dokic Story at the 2025 Logie Awards at Sydney's The Star earlier this month. Dokic hit the red carpet solo at TV's night of nights despite having just recently gone public with Veselinov shortly beforehand. Nevertheless, the hospital manager later took to Instagram to share a photo holding her gong alongside some heartfelt words of support. "Honoured to be holding this incredible Logie award," Veselinov wrote. Dokic confirmed her relationship with Veselinov last month after published bombshell footage of the pair getting cosy at Melbourne Airport. "You are my calm, safe, peaceful and happy place. So glad I found you," she wrote alongside a romantic snap with her new partner. The tennis great split from her previous partner Tin Bukic in late 2022 after an almost two-decade-long relationship.
