The dinner honors the collection of artists who donated original pieces to the filmmakers of the 2025 festival filmmaker winners. This year's contributing artists included Alteronce Gumby, Faith Wilding, Jane Dickson, Jeffrey Meris, Lauren Halsey, Marilyn Minter, Naudline Pierre, Raúl de Nieves, Simphiwe Ndzube and Tuan Andrew Nguyen.
On the red carpet, Blake Lively made a surprise appearance, hours after a judge dismissed Justin Baldoni's lawsuit against Lively and Ryan Reynolds. She was ushered past James, who was waiting to walk onto the carpet, and later turned back to apologize to the actress.
James was in town for the Tribeca premiere of her thriller 'Relay,' in which she stars with Riz Ahmed.
'We shot the movie in New York so to be able to have our American launch here felt potent and right and I just loved watching the movie — I hadn't seen it on a big screen so it was really special,' James said of the premiere, which was Sunday evening.
'It's a thriller so you can feel the energy in the room. You could feel that the audience was really with us. Riz Ahmed is so wonderful and I just felt really proud,' James added. 'It's so wonderful to see movies in a cinema, on a big screen.'
Janney was fresh off presenting at the Tony Awards, which she did alongside Bryan Cranston; the two costar in the Tribeca movie 'Everything's Going to Be Great.'
'To be able to come to this dinner is such fun for me, because I've always wanted to be able to come and I've always been too busy,' Janney said, wearing a golden Chanel trenchcoat with embellished buttons.
'It was actually the first thing I tried on that they sent for me and I was like 'yes please. And more,'' Janney said of the look. 'I love it.'
The following day, the actress was off to Rome to film a movie for Ridley Scott, 'one of my heroes.' In the midst of the work schedule she fully plans to make time for some Roman fun.
'Oh, you better believe I will,' she said. 'I'm going to do some shopping and walking around and eating gelato and all the things you do when you're in Rome.'
Sui Wonders, who stars in the series 'The Studio,' was naturally in a Chanel look for the night, something not too far off for her character Quinn.
'I wore a lot of Chanel. I had a vintage Chanel bag that I carried all around Vegas that was incredible, but so much vintage YSL, some vintage Miu Miu,' she said of the costumes. 'There was one vintage Miu Miu top that had naked women on it that was really good. I wanted to keep the Chanel bag so badly, but we have season two so it's all in a warehouse waiting to be used again.'
Inside The Odeon, Hamm kissed Gummer's hand and wiggled his finger at James for a hello; Allen chatted with tablemate Nas; Jonas and Gummer compared the art books at their seats, and Role Model, Laufey and Dorfman posed for photos. The waiters stayed busy with orders for martinis and glasses of Champagne as trays of shrimp cocktail hit the tables and the room settled in for dinner.

Is Sidwell Behind What Happened to Maxie on General Hospital?
General Hospital had Maxie on the edge of their seat when she crashed at the hospital. She went from seemingly being fine to having a heart attack out of nowhere. However, there may be a much more sinister reason for the health crisis she experienced. Sidwell's Agenda May Be At Play There have been a few clues that Maxie's (Kirsten Storms) near-death experience could have been planned and not a fluke. At the Metro Court, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) met James (Gary James Fuller). He learned more about Maxie than he knew, including her connection to Mac (John J. York). Sidwell was interested in what the little boy had to say, which didn't give us too much pause, until Maxie's emergency. While that may not be enough to draw conclusions, there is one more piece of the puzzle. When Sidwell was spending time with Lucy (Lynn Herring) ahead of the segment on Home & Heart, he was excited about it. Marco (Adrian Anchondo) found it odd that his father would be tuning in for the segment. Even though he has an interest in Deception, he's never been one to sit and watch things like that. Both are minor red flags, but enough to cause a bit of intrigue. After all, Sidwell has his hands in several situations in Port Charles, so why not this one? Maxie is Set to Exit GH It was announced that Kirsten Storms would be exiting the GH canvas for several months after she wrapped her scenes before summer break. This appears to be the beginning of that, as she is expected to be off-screen until later this year or early next year. She recently moved from Los Angeles to Nashville and is taking time to adjust to the change with her daughter, Harper. MILAN — Valentino's chief executive officer Jacopo Venturini has exited the couture house. His last day was Wednesday. On Thursday, Valentino said it had reached a mutual agreement with Venturini to terminate his employment and board roles as the executive 'has decided to take a break for personal reasons.' A source said the company is 'confirming full trust and commitment' in the designer. Michele's next collection for the brand will be unveiled in Paris for spring 2026 with a show on Oct. 5. In March 2024, former Gucci creative director Michele was appointed to the same role at Valentino, succeeding Pierpaolo Piccioli, who in May joined Balenciaga. A successor for Venturini was not named but 'will be announced in due course,' Valentino stated. Venturini was named Valentino's CEO in June 2020. He succeeded Stefano Sassi, who had been leading the company since 2006. Venturini was previously executive vice president, merchandising and global markets at Gucci, a role he left in October 2019, but his taking on the role of CEO marked a return to Valentino for the executive. After starting his career in fashion at Rinascente as a buyer from 1995 to 1999, he joined Valentino in 2000 as womenswear and menswear brand manager until 2004. He moved to Prada in 2005 as merchandising coordinator of the womenswear collection until 2008. That year he returned to Valentino as ready-to-wear collection director and retail image director, staying on until 2015, when he joined Gucci. Upon his arrival at Valentino, Venturini restructured the company's organization and focused on repositioning the brand as an Italian maison de couture, which meant, for example, closing sister brand Red Valentino. He set in motion a retail expansion, seeing growth potential in mainland China. He presented the first leg of the brand's Re-Signify project, to highlight Valentino's codes, in Shanghai in December 2020. The second part of the brand experience opened the following year at SKP in Beijing. As reported, in 2024, Valentino's sales dipped 3 percent to 1.31 billion euros amid 'a challenging and complex landscape,' the company said at the time. The Rome-based company reported a 22 percent fall in its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization to 246 million euros, affected by 'non-recurring items.' At constant exchange rates, the decrease stood at 2 percent, while the Roman fashion house trumpeted that its direct retail, including e-commerce, improved 5 percent last year and represented 70 percent of revenues. In July 2023, Kering revealed it had bought a 30 percent stake in Valentino for 1.7 billion euros in cash as part of a broader strategic partnership with Qatari investment fund Mayhoola, which controls the brand. The French group, parent of Gucci, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and other luxury brands, has an option to buy 100 percent of Valentino's capital by 2028, while Mayhoola could become a shareholder in Kering. In a research note last month, Bernstein analyst Luca Solca said Renault executive Luca de Meo, who will arrive as Kering's new CEO in mid-September, must curb Kering's elevated debt levels, and perhaps 'negotiate a larger 'equity for Valentino' deal with Mayhoola.' According to Bernstein's tallies, Kering will need up to 3.4 billion euros in cash to pay for the remaining 70 percent of Valentino. Solca also suggested de Meo should fix the management operation, and foresees 'less of a need' for Kering's deputy CEOs Francesca Bellettini, in charge of brand development, and Jean-Marc Duplaix, in charge of operations and finance. Market sources speculate Bellettini could be eyeing other career options and her name has been associated with several brands currently without a CEO, from Prada, after the exit of Gianfranco D'Attis on June 30, to Ferragamo, following Marco Gobbetti's departure last March. Kirsten Dunst says we've been saying her name wrong
'Bring It On' because another star has shared that we aren't saying her name correctly. Kirsten Dunst broke it down for us in a recent TikTok, shared by Town & Country. 'I mean, everyone messes up my name, so I give up,' she said. 'I don't care.' The actress said she answers to all versions of her name, though 'Keer-sten' is the proper pronunciation. 'I don't blame people,' Dunst said. 'Like in England, they don't really say my name right.' Even coworkers have gotten it wrong. 'The last set, everyone was saying my name wrong,' she said. 'There was like Swedish people and people from Hungary. You just give up.' Two people who don't have to worry about it are her sons with fellow actor Jesse Plemons, Ennis, 7, and James, 4. Dunst shared that they had a scare when James got sick in Budapest earlier this year, while the family was with her while she filming 'The Entertainment System Is Down' and Plemons had to return to Los Angeles with the boys. She didn't share what her son was ill with, but said 'everyone is fine now.' Dunst will next be seen in 'Roofman' which stars Channing Tatum as 'a former Army Ranger and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald's restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname: Roofman.' The film is in theaters on October 10.
