Earlier in the day, Mr. Stalin accompanied by Ministers and elected representatives paid floral tributes at the memorial of late leader M. Karunanidhi in Anna Square, statue of the late leader in Omandurar Government Estate campus and other places.

The exam duration will be three hours, and it will be conducted in an OMR-based format. The compulsory sections include child development and pedagogy relevant to the age group of 11 to 14 years with 30 questions for 30 marks, Language I (Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, or Urdu) with 30 questions for 30 marks, and Language II (English) with 30 questions for 30 marks. The final section, carrying 60 marks, will vary based on the subject the candidate intends to teach. For mathematics and science teachers, it will consist of mathematics and science questions; for social science teachers, it will focus on social science; and for any other subject teachers, they can choose either mathematics and science or social science. For child development and pedagogy and the subject-specific section, candidates must select the medium of the question paper as either Tamil or English.
