In a fun Instagram post shared by the team, the Fever revealed quirky facts about Dantas. But one fact stood out: Dantas, affectionately called 'DD,' said she loves eating pasta with beans. The post also listed her favorite candy as banana candy and fans had some hilarious things to say about it.
'What is banana candy? And pasta with beans? That is definitely pretty weird. Regardless, we love ya, DD!' one fan wrote.
Another joked, 'Tell me more about pasta with beans.'
Someone else chimed in, 'Nooo not banana candy. 😂. Love her game though.'
And the reactions didn't stop there. 'Love DD! She has to share the pasta & beans recipe,' one fan added.

'Girl what? Pasta with beans?' asked a confused user.
Another wrote, 'Ok, DD what is banana candy? I haven't heard of that. Anyways, we love you and continue being great.'
Even though her food choices raised eyebrows, fans clearly adore Dantas, and with good reason, that too. The WNBA veteran has been a strong presence for the Fever this season, helping out on the court when stars like Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston face foul trouble or injuries.
'She's got a lot of miles on,' said Fever head coach Stephanie White, explaining a recent rest day for Dantas. '[We're] making sure she gets a little bit of rest… don't want that to turn into anything.'

Meanwhile, Clark commented on Dantas' Instagram post a week ago, calling her 'DD the goat,' showing respect and support for her teammate.

Weird food preferences or not, DD's unique charm and experience make her one of the most loved players in Indiana. And whether she's scoring buckets or talking about pasta and banana candy, fans are definitely paying attention.

Kevin Durant's Camp is 'Eyeing' One Team Amid Suns' Trade Rumors
Kevin Durant's Camp is 'Eyeing' One Team Amid Suns' Trade Rumors originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Phoenix Suns are coming off what could only be described as an incredible disappointment of a season. Instead of improving upon the prior season in which they were swept out of the NBA Playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves, they went in the other direction, finishing 36-46. Advertisement As a result, they missed out on even securing a spot in the NBA Play-In Tournament, finishing as the No. 11 seed in the Western Conference. They made changes quickly, firing head coach Mike Budenholzer. Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant dunks against Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George during a game at Wells Fargo Center. Bill Streicher-Imagn Images Kevin Durant's camp is eyeing one team amid trade rumors The changes didn't stop there, as owner Mat Ishbia installed Brian Gregory as the general manager and moved James Jones into a senior advisory position. With the general manager now in place, the Suns will likely explore trading Kevin Durant after opting not to trade him at the trade deadline in February. According to John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM Phoenix, close to Durant's camp is looking at one team in particular as his desired destination: the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs are in win-now mode, as evidenced by their trade for De'Aaron Fox at the deadline. Durant showed this season that he has plenty left in the tank. He averaged 26.6 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Advertisement Placing a lengthy player like Durant next to Victor Wembanyama will cause havoc for opposing defenses and offenses. The 15-time All-Star will be 37 years old at the start of next season, so it's likely he'll want his next and possibly final destination to be one where he can add to his legacy with one more championship. If the Spurs can land Durant, they'll instantly become contenders in the Western Conference. This story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jun 4, 2025, where it first appeared.

Eagles Looking For New Ways To Address Edge Rusher Needs
Eagles Looking For New Ways To Address Edge Rusher Needs originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Few teams have lost more to a position group this offseason than the Philadelphia Eagles along their defensive line. Advertisement Stars like edge rushers Josh Sweat and Brandon Graham as well as defensive tackle Milton Williams have all moved on from the team after their dazzling appearance in Super Bowl LIX. Following the trade of Bryce Huff, the Eagles have a clear need along the edge of their defensive line. And while the organization has never been shy of thinking outside the box for solutions, they may have one specific plan in mind. When the Eagles picked linebacker Jihaad Campbell with the 31st pick in April's NFL Draft, the team seemed to open up to the possibility of a freak athlete like the Alabama star becoming an edge rusher. 'We've seen what [defensive coordinator Vic Fangio] can do with guys with this skill set,' GM Howie Roseman said. 'I don't want to put this player in that box [of stacked LB or edge rusher]. That's what I'm saying. This guy can grow into anything that you want. Advertisement 'You see it, what's going on in the league, and Zack Baun is a great example. These guys, they can rush from the edge, they can play in space. They can affect the quarterback from depth, from the edge, and that's what we're looking for.' If Campbell can become a similar player like Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons, it could change the very fabric of Philadelphia's defense. That's a big ask. But it's part of the plan. And if it works? It can keep the Eagles defense among the elite units in the league for a long time.
