Ahaan Panday Says Sister Alanna Panday Made Him Try His First Cigarette: ‘I Was Just 16'

One such throwback clip from Alanna Panday's YouTube channel has gone viral, where Ahaan candidly talks about trying his first cigarette—thanks to his sister, Alanna Panday. The hilarious sibling banter has left netizens amused.
In the trending video, Ahaan can be heard saying, 'When I was 16, Alanna called me into her bathroom and she made me try my first cigarette." Caught off guard, Alanna immediately interrupts, protesting, 'You can't say this sh*t, man. He's lying. I am telling you. He's making me sound like such a bad sister." She then explains, 'I was just excited that I had discovered something, and I wanted to share it with him."
Ahaan doesn't hold back though. He jokingly adds, 'I'm not lying. I was 16. I had underdeveloped lungs, and you are giving me cigarettes, all out of love." The humorous exchange between the siblings has gone viral, especially among fans of the Saiyaara star who are discovering more of his playful, off-screen personality.
The same video also features another quirky anecdote where Ahaan recalls how he 'lived in a corridor" for seven years. He shares, 'I know that because I lived in a corridor for 7 years of my life." Alanna quickly corrects him, 'It was not a corridor. It was a room built." To which Ahaan responds, 'It was a room built in a corridor. It was a corridor first… I was in the passageway. Everyone would see me in my towel every day."
While fans are enjoying these glimpses into his life, Ahaan is riding high professionally. Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara is a box office phenomenon. The detailed schedule for the third round of allocations and admissions for undergraduate programmes under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the academic year 2025-26 has been released by the University of Delhi. It can be seen that the preference reorder window and other options will be enabled today, on August 2, 5:00 PM, according to the release schedule. The third round includes processes for seat upgrades fresh allocations mid entry candidates and special categories such as CW, ECA, Sports and Ward Quota. Candidates who have already been admitted in either of the rounds 1 or 2 will have the option to opt for upgradation to a higher-preference programme-college combinations. This upgrade and reorder window will stay active from 5:00 PM on August 2 (Saturday) to 4:59 PM on August 3 (Sunday). The university has allowed a mid-entry window from 5 pm on August 8 (Friday) to 4:59 pm on August 10 (Sunday). This provision is meant for candidates who did not apply in CSAS (UG) 2025 Phase-I or failed to complete Phase-II or the candidates whose applications were rejected in earlier rounds due to incorrect subject mapping, ineligibility, or invalid documentation. Such candidates can enter the admission process by paying a non-refundable mid-entry fee of Rs 1,000. Provision for those who want to edit their form… They will also be able to edit their preferences and correct subject-mapping issues. Additionally, candidates who were not offered any seat in the previous rounds can also update their preferences during this window. All preferences submitted by the end of the mid-entry period (by 5 pm on August 10) will be used for subsequent seat allocations. The candidates must refer to the vacant seat matrix before finalizing their choices. When will the third round be declared? The third round of seat allocations will be declared on August 13 (Wednesday) at 5 pm, it will be based on data available up to August 10 at 5 pm. The university has also clarified that the allocation marks and ranks of Round III will not be linked to those of the previous rounds. Hence, no grievances regarding changes in allocation thresholds will be entertained.
