The property is on the market with Savills for a hefty price point, but has a legacy of famous residents.
The home is currently owned by Hollywood royalty, Tim Burton, who bought the Georgian country home with his then-partner Helena Bonham Carter, in 2006.
Mill House also previously belonged to Bonham Carter's great-grandfather, the former Prime Minister Herbert Henry Asquith.
Built in 1741, the grade II listed 5,909 square foot home comes complete with a library, drawing room and eight bedrooms.
Today, the property still carries its Georgian charm as its decked out with panelled doors, sash windows, original wooden shutters and carved fireplaces.
While Burton is famed for his gothic-tinged films, notably being the mind behind Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, and most recently, Wednesday, the home's decor remains relatively clean and traditional.
For example, the sitting room is adorned with vintage cinema posters, including the 1966 Japanese sci-fi film, The War of the Gargantuas, which he once said his children were "obsessed with, as I was," The Standard reports.
Hugh Maconochie, director in Savills' country house department and private office, told The Standard: "Mill House is a quintessential example of an English country house, blending timeless charm with modern comfort.
"Of particular note are its wonderful grounds and gardens, which promise the future owner a truly enchanting lifestyle - one that is reminiscent of a Swallows and Amazons adventure."
Among the garden's features is a rose terrace with brick paths, a courtyard, a croquet lawn, and even three small islands.

Also, the site offers a pergola-covered walk, and a mill pond and streams.
The famed director met Helena Bonham Carter on he set of his 2001 film Planet of the Apes.
This marked the beginning of a 13 year relationship, which came to an end in 2014.
Burton also sold another property, Eglon House, in 2023 for a staggering £17.5million.
The 13,000 square foot home, which was bough by a British media entrepreneur, consisted of two interlinked buildings facing eachother across a courtyard garden.

Would you have written it while he was alive and could have sued you for libel? You're making sleazy claims without solid evidence." The author defended his sources, highlighting that he had interviewed 300 people, including on-the-record diplomats, naval personnel, and special royal representatives. At the end of the heated exchange, Mr Rees-Mogg thanked the author for his 'hatchet job'. Extracts of the book have grabbed headlines in recent days, with a series of claims made about the duke and duchess and their relationships to the royal family. The book has claimed Prince Andrew called a staff member in the Royal Household a 'f***ing imbecile' for not referring to the Queen Mother by her full title in 2005. According to the book, Prince Andrew's catchphrase when dealing with royal staff was 'I want this done and I want this done now. Do it!' Mr Lownie also claims in his book that the relationship between the Duke of York and his younger nephews, William and Harry, was 'problematic'. The Duke of York is alleged to have accused Prince Harry of going 'bonkers' for marrying Megan Markle. However, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex told The Daily Telegraph that Prince Andrew did not 'ever make the comments he is alleged to have made about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry'. The spokesperson also denied the book's claim that the pair had ever gotten into a physical fight.

Heartbroken Kym Marsh left devastated by cousin's death days after onscreen father Frank Grimes dies aged 78
HEARTBROKEN Kym Marsh has revealed her cousin has died. The actress and presenter, 49, paid tribute to Carl this afternoon on Instagram, praising his kindness and humour. 4 4 She wrote: "I can't believe I'm writing this. Today our family say goodbye to Carl. My cousin. A legend to all who knew him. "A light turned out far too soon. A huge hole in our lives that will never be filled. Sometimes life makes no sense. They continued: "We know that Ireland has lost one of its truly great actors, the vintage of which is so rare and may never ever be matched again. "We are so sad to have to say goodbye to Frank, but we are also so blessed to have known him, to have worked with him and seen him perform. Recalling some of his most "thrilling" work on stage, the ICC said: "Frank was undoubtedly one of Ireland's greatest actors, he was a dearly loved friend of the ICC's and over the past three decades, he trod the ICC's stage on so many occasions.
