'I Choose Happiness': Nur Sajat Responds To Backlash Over Recent Nose Job
Even so, there are a handful of celebrities who are unafraid to admit to going under the knife. Although she no longer lives in Malaysia, celebrity entrepreneur Nur Sajat recently received backlash after she revealed that she had a nose job. Here's what she said to the criticism:
On 15th August, Nur Sajat shared a photo on Instagram revealing that she had undergone a cosmetic procedure on her nose. 'Call it surgery, I call it self-love. My life, my rules, my happiness, my choice, my nose. Period,' she wrote in the caption. Prior to that, she had shared a quote stating that plastic surgery is not 'fake happiness' and that individuals should be free to do as they please with their bodies.
As expected, being a Muslim, she faced backlash over the nose job, with many accusing her of 'butchering God's creation'. In a now-deleted comment, the businesswoman responded to one of the criticisms, saying: 'I'm not here to change God's will. I just want to heal, to feel more confident and to embrace my own beauty. At my age, I don't see anything wrong with that.' She added that the procedure was an act of self-love rather than an attempt to go against religion.
The mother-of-two acknowledged that people have the right to their opinions, but they won't stop her from doing what she believes is best for her well-being. 'For me, I chose happiness, confidence and peace in what I do,' she stated. In a follow-up post over the weekend, Sajat gave an update on her recovery, saying that she's willing to endure the pain in order to feel more beautiful and is looking forward to seeing the results once she fully heals.

Lee Lung Kei, 74, denies rumours of rift with 38YO fiancee: 'We are doing well'
Hong Kong actor Lee Lung Kei and his fiancee Chris Wong went public with their relationship in 2020. Photo: Chris Wong/Instagram Hong Kong singer-actor Lee Lung Kei has dismissed rumours of trouble in his relationship with his 38-year-old fiancee Chris Wong. Speculation arose after a photo of the 74-year-old star dining with friends in Canada circulated online, with many noting Wong's absence. Dismissing the claims in an interview with Hong Kong news portal HK01, Lee said that he had personally accompanied Wong to her parents' home in Foshan, China, before heading to the United States and Canada for his shows. 'People must have seen some YouTubers spreading rumours online, right? Don't believe these so-called YouTubers,' the former TVB star added. On their wedding plans, Lee revealed that the couple wants to keep things low-key, as Wong wishes to step away from the public eye. 'I promised her I would keep things on the down low from now on. She hopes to fade out of the spotlight soon, so all I can say is we're doing well,' he said. Wong, a Chinese national whose real name is Wang Qingxia, was sentenced by the Shatin Magistrates' Court in June 2024 after pleading guilty to five charges related to overstaying in Hong Kong and forging university certificates to obtain an entry permit. During her time behind bars, Lee wrote her letters every one to two weeks to keep her spirits up. He also expressed his wish to marry her after her release and even purchased a gold bracelet earlier this year in preparation for their wedding. Wong was deported upon her release earlier on July 7 and crossed into mainland China via the Shenzhen Bay Immigration Control Point. That day, Lee greeted her with a bouquet of pink roses at the immigration hall before embracing her.
