5 Stars Threatened with Leaving Chelsea Before the Premier League Start
Chelsea are in a crucial transfer window this summer, as they seek to offload a number of players before the start of the 2025-26 season.
Reports indicate that the club's management has drawn up a list of several prominent players threatened with departure, as they are no longer in the coach's plans for the new season.
At the forefront of these players is Portuguese forward Joao Felix. According to The Sun, the Blues have reached an agreement to sell the player to Saudi club Al-Nassr for £43.7 million.
Felix joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid for £38.4 million before being loaned to Italian club AC Milan last January, a spell that proved unsuccessful.
Chelsea are also seeking to offload several other players this summer. Striker Nicolas Jackson has attracted interest from several clubs, most notably Manchester United, and his departure cannot be ruled out.
Midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who joined the team last summer, has also become a target for Fulham, who are preparing a loan bid with an option to buy.
The 26-year-old has barely featured in the Premier League since his £30 million move from Leicester City last summer.
Fulham are also continuing negotiations with Arsenal over a deal for Reiss Nelson, who came on as a substitute in their friendly against AC Milan in Singapore.
In a related development, Portuguese midfielder Renato Veiga is reportedly set to join Atletico Madrid, while Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell are reportedly keen to leave the club.
