Kaytranada Returns With New Album ‘Ain't No Damn Way'
Like with Timeless, Kaytranada plays with a wide range of sounds and rhythms on the project, from more upbeat tracks like 'Championship' and 'Don't Worry Babe / I Got U Babe' to laid-back offerings like 'Things' and 'Shine Your Light For We.' He even samples TLC's 'Let's Do It Again' on closing track 'Do It! (Again!).'
In recent years, Kaytranada has fully stepped into his power, unafraid to create beats or make musical tweaks that he feel might not resonate with listeners or collaborators.
'I always used to be very shy in the studio and sometimes let the artists just do their thing because I didn't want to correct them or anything. It took me a while to understand, OK, I got to be the one that says 'Do it like this,'" he told Rolling Stone last year. "I don't have a leader mentality. I'm learning to do that now.'
Now, Kaytranada is 'trying to make Grammy-winning albums.' 'I just want to be remembered as one of the greats in terms of producing, not only dance and electronic but also just production in general,' he told Billboard.
Kaytranada hits the road with Justice on a co-headlining tour across North America this fall. It all kicks off Oct. 16 in Vancouver and wraps up Nov. 16 in Miami. Before then, fans can listen to the producer featured on Teyana Taylor's forthcoming album Escape Room, due out next week.

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce's Kiss Results in Viral Meme Moment
and made fans swoon with their sweet kiss during the podcast, but it has also sparked a hilarious meme moment. The NFL star's pop star girlfriend finally made her 'New Heights' debut on Wednesday. Besides Swift's candid interview being the current talk of the internet, one moment has been garnering attention. Swifties are chuckling over Travis' brother Jason Kelce's reaction to the lovebirds sharing a quick kiss. Jason Kelce becomes of meme after he reacts to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's kiss Taylor Swift finally appeared on Travis and Jason Kelce's 'New Heights' podcast, and fans cannot get enough of it. During the special episode, the singer touched on several topics, including her journey to reclaim her master recordings, the aftermath of The Eras Tour, her experience with the Chiefs kingdom, and more. She also unveiled and shared details on her upcoming album, 'The Life of a Showgirl.' As much as fans have been enjoying seeing Swift's candid conversations during the interview, her kiss with Travis is also garnering attention, but not for the reasons one would expect. Towards the end of the over two-hour-long episode, the 'Shake it Off' singer was signing off in style. Swift threw some confetti and thanked the Kelce brothers for having her on the podcast. After an applause, Travis softly whispered, 'I love you,' and pulled his girlfriend in for a quick kiss. This is also when Jason was about to thank Taylor in return for making a guest appearance on the podcast. However, he cut himself off after seeing the lovebirds' PDA and exclaimed, 'Oh my gosh!' Swift then got a little shy and laughed off at Jason's reaction. The elder Kelce brother continued thanking the pop icon, 'You are the best,' and added, 'This has been a blast.' Meanwhile, the hilarious reaction is also taking over the internet. Swifties laughed over Jason being the 'third wheel' amid Travis and his girlfriend's adorable kiss moment. Nonetheless, the affectionate gesture is equally making fans swoon. Originally reported by Shriya Swami on Reality Tea. WWE SmackDown results, highlights (Aug. 8): John Cena vs. Logan Paul set for Clash in Paris PLE
In the wake of SummerSlam weekend, Friday's episode of "WWE SmackDown" headed north to Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and promised visits from both John Cena and Cody Rhodes. After the "Raw after SummerSlam" delivered the goods, it was up to the blue brand to keep the momentum going. Welcome back, John Cena! However you may feel about the John Cena heel turn, it's hard to argue that the next four-plus months of Cena's retirement tour aren't better off because of the past four. In Cena's promo he said the audience at home could feel the energy of the Montreal crowd through our screens, and he was absolutely correct. Just like the 60,000 strong at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night, the Montreal crowd erupted when Cena's music opened the show. Here's the reality about the Cena turn. The initial shock was immense, but with it somehow came even larger expectations. For generations of fans who lived through Hulk Hogan joining the nWo and Seth Rollins betraying The Shield, the belief was Cena could come close to or exceed those as a bad guy. While that didn't happen — partially due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, as Paul Heyman alluded to during his visit on "The Ariel Helwani Show" — we did get a record-breaking 17th championship, fresh feuds with Randy Orton and CM Punk, arguably the best match of his career against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam and now we get this final run, 11 more dates where we can appreciate Cena one more time. Cena's show-opening promo turned into a tease of his looming program with Brock Lesnar and then he issued his usual open challenge to the locker room, which Logan Paul answered. Paul challenged Cena to a match at Clash in Paris at the end of the month and, before he gave his answer, Cena was attacked by Drew McIntyre. Rhodes made the save, and the main event for the night was set. Ultimately, the main event served as a way to set up Rhodes' next challenger for the Undisputed WWE Championship, as after Paul delivered a low blow to Cena and the two fought to the back, McIntyre eviscerated Rhodes, culminating with a Claymore Kick through the announcers' table in a very unique spot. McIntyre vs. Rhodes will almost certainly happen at Clash in Paris. 🎉 🥳 Birthdays, buddies and beatdowns Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss remain arguably the best thing in WWE right now. The Flair-Bliss birthday segment wasn't quite "This is Your Life" or "The Festival of Friendship," but it drew great pop and continued the momentum these two have been building since being paired together. Chelsea Green — wildly underrated — interrupted, insulted the Montreal Canadiens (she's a British Columbia native) and found herself in a singles match against Flair. These two had a good TV match that culminated in the... 🎂 Uncrowned Cake of the Night 🎂 As the match reached its closing stages, Green called for her Secret Her-Vice to put a sheet cake into the ring. Green lined up to deliver an Un-Pretty-Her to Flair onto the cake that was reversed and led to a Figure Eight leg lock and submission. The subtlety in Green filling her hands with cake and spreading it on her face, enough for Flair to get a taste in the submission hold, showed the brilliance and little things that help make good moments great. New Bloodline in the hunt for the tag titles The Motor City Machine Guns lost a tag match against JC Mateo and Talla Tonga. The match itself was solid — is there ever anything lower when MCMG is involved — and it injected a much-needed new threat into the tag-team division on "SmackDown." An unreal TLC match at SummerSlam resulted in the Wyatt Sicks retaining, essentially making them untouchable as champions when it comes to the other teams involved in said match. Solo Sikoa's MFT faction is one of the few that can match up from a numbers perspective with the Wyatt Sicks, so this feels like a good direction to go in, even if it has Tonga and Mateo jumping the line. In the aftermath, Solo Sikoa cut a promo and earned himself a match with hometown hero Sami Zayn. Zayn picked up a big win, utilizing his knowledge of Sikoa and his faction's tactics to please the Montreal crowd. Zayn's usually on "Raw" and faces Rusev on Monday night, so the result here shouldn't throw a wrench into the United States Championship picture. 🤔 Friday findings 🤔 1. The Wyatt Sicks cut a promo that was the usual levels of cryptic and creepy, but Nikki Cross had a line that stood out, saying their actions weren't for "fame" or "glory." With Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis standing there with the tag titles on their shoulders, it sends a different message. I'm not a fan of keeping championships off TV, but it would have made sense here. 2. Sticking with the tag division, it looks like "Miz is Money" is making a return. I love this for both Carmelo Hayes and The Miz, but it also illustrates the issue with having the Wyatt Sicks on top as a dominant, supernatural faction. The same problem presents itself with DIY and Street Profits, who will face one another next week. 3. Aleister Black delivered one of his best promos since coming back to WWE on Friday. He should make a move up the card fast on "SmackDown." 4. The R-Truth heel turn is officially over, thankfully. 👑 The path to WWE's next PLE is a lot clearer, at least at the top of the card. I'm still having a tough time with the Wyatt Sicks, but this was a good show. I give this show a Crown score of: 8/10 👑

How We Styled 'And Just Like That' – By The Show's Costume Designers
After three seasons, And Just Like That has come to a close. The Sex And The City spinoff chronicling the midlife adventures of Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York-Goldenblatt is bowing out after 33 episodes. In addition to the storylines of Big's death, Aidan's return, Charlotte parenting teens and Miranda ending her marriage to Steve, the fashion has remained a talking point, with fans old and new tuning in to see how our trio – and new characters LTW and Seema Patel – will be styled. 'There are so many good looks from season three,' Molly Rogers shares, appearing on a Zoom call with her AJLT co-costume designer Danny Santiago (both pictured left). 'I think we tried to move the needle a couple of times on Carrie, because she's writing a novel [set in 1864] and we wanted to reflect this in her clothes. So she has a lot of half booties on, a couple of hats and a few panniers [hooped petticoats] that pop a skirt out'. 'One of my favourite outfits of Carrie's is when she goes to Tiffany's with Charlotte in episode six,' shares Santiago. 'It's quite a beautiful look as she's being inspired by her book, and so it has the feeling of something from that era. She's got this beautiful vintage hat on with a beautiful dress, and underneath, these panniers that give an amazing silhouette, and gorgeous Maison Margiela pumps. For me, it's one of the best outfits from the season.' 'Carrie had on a pink nightgown in episode five. I watched them film on that day, and it was absolutely beautiful in the setting of that apartment,' adds Rogers, when questioned about her favourite look. 'Carrie's just in the kitchen with Miranda, but colour-wise, that was one of my favourite looks. We went to London and shopped, and we brought the nightgown and robe back. We also had fun styling the funeral in episode six because funerals mean hats, and us and hats, we go back a long way! We love a hat.' As the storylines of SATC and AJLT have evolved, so too have the styles of our three leads. Has the costuming of the show now become a collaborative process with each actor? 'For sure, I think because we all know each other so well,' Rogers shares. 'Kristin (Davis) is really good about texting me something that she saw in a magazine to find out if anybody has worn it. SJ [Sarah Jessica Parker] is really hands on in her fitting. She really does know how to display a costume in its best light. I've never worked with anybody quite like her.' Santiago agrees. 'When it comes to SJ having an accessory or carrying a bag, she's just so aware of everything, and knows how to make it look beautiful'. Addressing some of the more controversial fashion choices this season, Rogers recalls 'Everybody went insane about the [oversized gingham] Head In The Clouds Hat that Carrie wore to the park in the first episode. But again, do you want to see Carrie barefoot upstairs in her apartment? Do you want to see Carrie in a baseball cap? To me, it needs to be 'The Carrie Show', even if the looks cause an uproar'. On styling Miranda, Rogers explains that 'Cynthia [Nixon]'s more into jewellery choices. She is into the clothes, but she's a jewellery nut and she really loves to paw through the earrings and necklace combos; she enjoys that a lot. [Director, writer and executive producer] Michael Patrick King also wants to satisfy the audience's appetite for fashion.' While some of the storylines and the show's sudden end have generated a lot of online discourse, Rogers and Santiago always enjoy the fan reactions to their fashion Easter eggs, like when Carrie re-wears a familiar piece from an episode of Sex And The City. 'It's so much fun, and we're so careful about where we'll sneak those rewears in. A lot of the time we'll dress the closet with something recognisable hanging in the back to see if anybody notices,' tells Rogers. 'The fans really zoom into these things, and they get so happy to see those items again. It's like an old friend,' says Santiago. Rogers adds 'they really know what episode it's from. I don't even know that! They have watched so many reruns that it's truly incredible. It's wonderful, and I'm grateful. I'm always curious to see what the audience thinks about the fashion'. One of these moments was the reappearance of the printed Chanel blouse, originally seen in season three, episode 15 of Sex And The City. Originally worn backwards, the blouse was reworn for season three, episode three of And Just Like That, though fans noticed it wasn't the exact same item after forensic examination of the positioning of the coloured patches. 'Molly found that Chanel blouse in a vintage shop in New York. It actually came from Karen Elson's personal collection, and more than likely it might have been a sample from the Chanel showroom that was given to her. We've found some other pieces that Sarah Jessica didn't own from the first run, but now she does,' Santiago tells. 'I think that the internet was so excited to see that Chanel blouse again. At the time we never really looked at the reverse to see if it matched the original one, but that's how closely people watch,' Rogers says. 'SJ has such an incredible archive of everything from the beginning of the show. And we're able to go in and pick out pieces that we want,' Santiago tells. 'We carefully choose where we want to place each piece. Every now and then, we'll find things out there in the market that have already been worn in the show,'. Do the pair feel a pressure when styling one of the world's most talked about series? 'For us, what we do is very much in our own little bubble and we don't really look about to see what other people are saying,' Santiago shares. 'It's a very safe space when Molly and I are together and we're creating with the actors. It's very collaborative. We have our own little world that we create and being able to play is the best, because we can be open and creative'. As beloved as the SATC universe is, the reboot has received scrutiny from fans and critics alike. 'I don't do anything that I don't like, so it bothers me when people jump on the train of "let's hate watch", that's not what I'm here for,' says Rogers. 'I put a lot of joy and satisfaction in getting things into the room to see SJ's reaction and I find it all a delicious experience. I just do not pay attention to the negativity. I often wonder, can people enjoy anything anymore? It's just all so judgmental. I'm not that way. I live and let live.' In the same way as the storylines of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte (and Samantha) will live on in television history, so too will the iconic looks and enduring fashion legacy that And Just Like That and Sex And The City have left. And Just Like That is available to stream on Sky and Now TV, and own digitally on Apple TV and Amazon Prime. ELLE Collective is a new community of fashion, beauty and culture lovers.
