At least five people have reportedly been shot outside a mall in Savannah, Georgia in a horror attack.
Police have descended on the Oglethorpe Mall and are urging members of the public to avoid the area.
Five ambulances also rushed to the scene to treat victims and get them to nearby hospitals.
At least one of the victims is in a critical condition, and four have been taken to hospital.
The International Association of Fire Fighters Local 574 described the event to WTOC as 'an active and dangerous situation.'
'Avoid the area at all costs. Updates will be provided when available,' they said.

A search is underway for a gunman after a woman was shot in a West Midlands town shortly after midnight. 'We were called to reports of a shooting at an address on Priory Road in Dudley at 12.16am this morning and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and the Midlands Air Ambulance critical care car from Cosford to the scene,' the West Midlands Ambulance Service said in a statement. 'On arrival, crews found a woman who they treated for serious injuries, before conveying her under emergency driving conditions to hospital.' Police are urging any witnesses or residents with dashcam or doorbell footage to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log 66 of 3 July.

A SIX-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital and remains in a serious condition after being hit by a car on a residential street. The horror crash unfolded Croftlands Road in Wythenshawe, Manchester, on Wednesday, July 2. A Volkswagen Taigo was travelling along the road when it hit the six-year-old. The boy had entered the road from between two parked cars before being struck by the motor. Emergency services raced to the scene and the young boy was immediately rushed to hospital. He remains in a serious condition after sustaining major injuries in the crash. No arrests have been made with the driver of the Volkswagen staying at the scene. Greater Manchester Police are probing the incident with their Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) appealing for any witnesses information to come forward.
