
Minister Gummidi Sandhya Rani to visit Eluru district on July 19
According to a release from the District Information and Public Relations Office, Eluru, the Minister is scheduled to arrive in Koyyalagudem mandal at 10:30 a.m., where she will take part in the 'Intintiki Telugu Desam – Suparipalana Ku Tholi Adugu 4.1' outreach programme.
Later, at 1:30 p.m., she will hold a review meeting with district officials at the Collectorate in Eluru. The meeting will focus on evaluating key departmental initiatives and ongoing welfare activities in the district.

Party workers' role key in delivering schemes: Gottipati
Addanki: Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar announced that the coalition government, under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, aims to ensure that welfare schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries and effectively communicate its initiatives to all citizens across the state. The minister, along with the Bapatla MP Tenneti Krishna Prasad unveiled a statue of NT Rama Rao and NTR Kalakshetram, and participated in 'Suparipalanalo Tholi Adugu-Intintiki Telugu Desam' programme, at Chandaluru village in J Panguluru mandal, on Sunday. During the village-level campaign, Minister Gottipati visited households to assess the implementation of coalition government welfare programmes and gathered feedback from beneficiaries. Additionally, he distributed three-wheeler scooters to ten differently-abled individuals. Speaking on the occasion, Gottipati praised NTR as the pioneer of welfare schemes for the poor, noting that programmes like two-rupee rice and women's property rights are still implemented by numerous states nationwide. The minister announced infrastructure funding, including Rs 30 lakh for road construction in Chandaluru village, Rs 2 crore for the Chandaluru-Gangavaram BT road, and Rs 35 lakh for constructing a dining hall at the district council high school. Gottipati explained that the primary objective of the 'Suparipalanalo Tholi Adugu- Intintiki Telugu Desam' initiative is to monitor how welfare schemes reach eligible beneficiaries during the coalition government's 15-month tenure. He emphasised that programmes such as pensions, Talliki Vandanam, and the Deepam gas scheme distribution should be verified by relevant department officials and secretariat staff. He emphasised the crucial role of party workers in implementing government schemes.

Permanent solution assured to drinking water crisis
Parvathipuram: MLA B Vijay Chandra said that he will show a permanent solution to the long-standing drinking water problem in Ballakrishnapuram village and five surrounding villages under Seethanagaram Mandal is on the way. As part of the 'Suparipalana Tholi Adugu' (Good Governance – The First Step) initiative, the 'Intintiki Telugu Desam' (TDP to Every Household) programme was held in Ballakrishnapuram on Thursday. Interacting with locals to understand their well-being, problems and needs, he inspected ongoing development works and reviewed welfare schemes being implemented in the village. Speaking to the media, the MLA remarked that Ballakrishnapuram, once considered a stronghold of opposition parties, has now become a bastion of the Telugu Desam Party. He thanked the villagers for their deep affection and support towards him and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, assuring them that he would make every effort to repay their trust. Highlighting past hardships, the MLA recalled how villagers once struggled for access to drinking water. He stated that today, clean drinking water is being supplied to every household. He further promised that water would soon be supplied twice a day and that steps would be taken in the future to ensure 24-hour uninterrupted water supply to the village.

Energy Minister distributes bicycles to 453 students
Addanki: EnergyMinister Gottipati Ravi Kumar distributed free bicycles to 453 students across two schools in the Addanki constituency on Friday and announced plans to distribute bicycles to 10,000 students in the constituency by December. The distribution began at the Elementary High School in Kommalapadu village, Santhamaguluru mandal, where 104 students received bicycles funded through CSR initiatives. Subsequently, at the Zilla Parishad High School in Makkenavaripalem village, 349 students were provided with free bicycles. Speaking at the Kommalapadu school premises, Minister Gottipati announced ambitious plans to distribute bicycles to 10,000 students studying from 6th to 10th grades across all primary and high schools in the Addanki constituency by year-end, utilising CSR funds. When teachers at Makkenapadu school requested an RO water plant, the Minister immediately ordered for its installation. He also promised to complete the incomplete buildings and construct new structures, if needed, for the students. Speaking at both schools, Gottipati emphasised the health benefits of cycling, noting that bicycle usage has declined even in rural areas. He explained that bicycles would help students reach school faster while providing essential physical exercise for better health. He highlighted the coalition government's comprehensive approach to creating a conducive learning environment. This academic year has seen the provision of quality meals, good bags, and standard textbooks to students. He criticised the previous government for placing political symbols on student bags and books, stating that Minister Lokesh has shown special care for students without any political affiliations. He instructed officials to ensure the 'Talliki Vandanam' scheme reaches everyone, even those facing technical difficulties. He also inaugurated newly constructed CC roads and side drains worth Rs 30 lakh in Makkenavaripalem village. During the 'Suparipalanalo Tholi Adugu- Intintiki Telugu Desam' programme at Santhamaguluru, he distributed cheques and LOCs to 46 beneficiaries under the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Regarding irrigation, Minister Gottipati assured farmers of water supply to the last field, mentioning cleaning of major and minor canals and desilting work.
