ARSENAL welcomed two former stars to the Emirates on Sunday - but nobody appeared to have told Sky commentator Peter Drury.
The Gunners ran out 1-0 winners against Newcastle to cement Champions League football for next season.

Former fan favourite Gilberto Silva was showcased by Sky cameras watching the game from the stands.
The Brazilian, 48, spent six seasons with the Gunners between 2002 and 2008.
Drury gave Gilberto a full welcome on commentary, noting he arrived after a "stellar World Cup" 23 years ago.
But he failed to mention ex-Arsenal centre-back Johan Djorou, who was sitting directly next to Gilberto.

The Swiss defender, 38, spent a decade at Arsenal between 2004 and 2014.
Fans were quick to point out that Sky had seemingly ignored Djourou in the segment.
While others claimed his new haircut and beard made him unrecognisable from his days at the Emirates.
One fan wrote on X: "Drury didn't recognise Johan Djourou there, and fair enough."

"I had some injuries, I had some complicated moments too.
"But on the whole, to play in the Champions League, to reach the final, to be in the Carling Cup final, to fight for the title, to be in Europe every year - it was great.
"I had the chance to assert myself, to play some big games.
"To put in some big performances, to be recognised some seasons as one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League, particularly by Arsene and my teammates.
"I'm not Sergio Ramos, I'm not Gerard Pique, I was Johan Djourou.
"And I played some very, very, very big games and I'm very proud of that."

Juventus 2 Man City 5: Erling Haaland's 300th goal and Savinho belter see Pep Guardiola's side pick up statement win

City topped the group as a result, having huge impact on knockouts PEP GUARDIOLA and his squad are obviously loving their time in Florida. Because Manchester City's next two knockout matches are now scheduled to be here in Orlando – just a short hop from their beachside training base in Boca Raton. 8 Erling Haaland's 300th Man City goal helped his side thrash Juventus 5-2 Credit: AP 8 Savinho also netted a belter as City topped their Club World Cup group Credit: Getty The 'Sunshine State' even produced a heavy first half downpour – just to ensure Pep's men feel right at home in the Camping World Stadium. It was raining goals again too as Jeremy Doku, Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Savinho were all on the scoresheet along with an OG from Pierre Kalulu. And it means City finish top of Group G – which could be crucial for their hopes of retaining the Club World Cup trophy. As well as meaning less travel, they are also in a much more favourable half of the draw with Bayern Munich and PSG in the other one. A showdown with Guardiola's former assistant Enzo Maresca and his Chelsea team is now a possibility in the semi-final. Pep admitted before the game he had selected his team with the extreme weather in mind. It was 'only' 31 degrees when the game kicked off in mid afternoon but the humidity made it feel more like 40. So the City boss was keen to ensure he had an injection of energy for the second half – with Haaland one of those left on the bench. Knowing their place in the last 16 was guaranteed, Juve coach Igor Tudor also made changes. The runners-up were looking at a much more difficult route to the final – with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain lying in wait - en route to the final in New York on July 13. And this was City's first real test of the tournament – against a team who beat them in the Champions League back in December. Right from the start they looked like they fancied it though. Rayan Ait Nouri's cross from the left found skipper Bernardo Silva at the back post but his header was saved by the legs of Michele di Gregorio. But the former Wolves man – who caught the eye on his debut against Al Ain at the weekend – was catching the eye again. 8 Haaland then came alive in the second half with a clinical strike Credit: Alamy 8 Phil Foden was next on target after coming off the bench Credit: Getty He sliced open the home defence with a pass to Jeremy Doku who cut inside his full-back and rolled a shot into the corner. For the third game in a row at this tournament, City had scored inside the first 10 minutes and it was a perfect start. Yet within two minutes they gifted the Italians a route back in as Ederson's radar was off with his pass out to Bernardo. The Portuguese could not reach it and Teun Koopmeiners could not believe his luck as he drove into the empty space and thumped home. Maybe the heat was affecting the players because 15 minutes later it was Juve dropping a clanger. Savinho and Matheus Nunes combined to get the ball across but it was some way from its target Omar Marmoush. Pierre Kalulu did not realise he was under no pressure though – and turned the ball into his own net rather than putting it out for a corner. 8 Savinho topped an impressive performance with a powerful hit Credit: AFP 8 Dusan Vlahovic netted a late consolation goal for Juve Credit: Reuters Marmoush and Savinho both had tame efforts saved but City were starting to stamp their authority on the game after an open start. A heavy rain shower shortly before the interval was probably just the job to cool the English side down. As expected, Haaland was on for the second half and almost made an immediate impact but could not quite get his toe onto Savinho's cross. But he did not have to wait long for his goal – nice work from new boy Tijjani Reijnders and Nunes presented the Norwegian with an open net. His finish was hardly emphatic but as the former Borussia Dortmund man knows – they all count. 300 career goals before he hits 25 years old is going some. City just needed to see the game out but Ederson made amends for his earlier mistake by dashing off his line to deny Dusan Vlahovic. And it proved to be a key moment as Haaland sent Savinho in on goal before he unselfishly allowed sub Phil Foden to roll in number four. Then a corner from the left was only half cleared by the Italians and Savinho thumped a 20 yard shot in off the underside of the bar. Vlahovic raced clear to score a consolation six minutes from time but by then City fans were already booking their extended stay here. Three wins, 13 goals and only two conceded. Pep's men clearly mean business out here.

Major Celtic target ‘arrives in Scotland' to finalise transfer to Premiership champions

ONE of Celtic's top transfer targets has arrived in Scotland to finalise his move to the club, according to a report. Brendan Rodgers has stressed the importance of building on his Double-winning squad, in order to maintain their spot on top in the domestic game and to push on in Europe. 2 Benjamin Nygren in action for Sweden against Hungary Credit: Alamy Last season the Hoops won the Premiership title, beat Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup final and advanced to the knockout rounds of the new-look Champions League. They did however lose the Scottish Cup final to Aberdeen and this season they will face a Rangers team spurred on by new owners and a new manager, and have the added hurdle of needing to navigate a play-off tie to qualify into the Champions League. Star winger Nicolas Kuhn could be on his way out, with interest from RB Leipzig, Como and Newcastle. SunSport exclusively revealed that Swedish attacker Benjamin Nygren was high on the Hoops' wishlist this summer. We then told you how he held positive talks with the Parkhead club a fortnight ago. All that was holding up the deal was the fact the player was on holiday and now, according to the Daily Record, the 23-year-old has landed in Scotland to complete the switch. Celtic will pay around £1.7million to land the Swedish international, who has been starring for Nordsjaelland in Denmark but only has six months left on his current contract. Copenhagen and Anderlecht were keen on him too and Nordsjaelland also fielded calls from MLS and Bundesliga clubs. But SunSport understood he always preferred a move to Scotland. Celts gaffer Rodgers has already snapped up Kieran Tierney from Arsenal and is looking to add further quality to his side. The diggers move in as Celtic Park pitch is dug up It's unclear if Rodgers wants to play Nygren as a winger, No10 or a striker, but his versatility will give the manager options. The Hoops have also been linked with wingers Michel-Ange Balikwisha and Sondre Orjasaeter. Japanese striker Shin Yamada is another name on their list. And the Parkhead side have been working away on a deal for Albirex Niigata defender Hayato Inamura. Former IFK Gothenburg sporting director Mats Gren reckons Nygren is better operating as a No10 and believes that is where Rodgers would get the best out of him. He told SunSport: 'When Benjamin plays on the right wing or as a No9, he can be effective. 'However, he is best as a No10. That is where all his qualities can be on show. 'Benjamin is an intelligent attacker. His left foot is fantastic and he can score goals and assist. 'His final ball is always very good and he can finish when he gets a chance. He has the lot! 'He is not slow but he's maybe not super fast, and that's the only thing you can say that he lacks. 'However, he is quick enough to get away from opponents and has very good vision and passing.' 2 Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
