We explain where else you can buy the product for a similar price
OUT OF STOCK Shoppers baffled as Lidl discontinues everyday fridge staple in ALL stores
SHOPPERS are devastated after Lidl confirmed it has discontinued a beloved fridge essential.
It comes after frantic customers took to social media last month asking why they couldn't see the product on shelves.

The item causing the stir was Lidl's own brand Dairy Manor lactose-free skimmed milk - a must-have for many.
One lactose intolerant regular wrote to Lidl: "@LidlGB Do you still stock your own brand lactose free skimmed milk? Haven't been able to find it for a few weeks and am getting worried."
People on Reddit also shared their concern, with one person complaining: "This was my regular but they haven't had it for over a month."
The Sun can now exclusively confirm the product has been discontinued.

Lidl explained the skimmed milk was axed due to "consumer preference", but reassured shoppers that the semi-skimmed lactose-free milk is still available in stores.
Alternatively, if skimmed milk is your preference, there are a couple of other lactose-free products on the market.
Aldi's Cowbelle lactose-free skimmed milk is just 99p per 1L carton, making it a close match to Lidl.
Alternatively, you can pay a little extra for the branded Arla version, which is £1.50 in Sainsbury's and Waitrose.

Another budget option is Tesco's own-brand Lactose-free skimmed milk which is still just 99p for a litre.
It comes as a reminder to always compare prices before you buy - and you can make this easier for yourself by using a comparison site like Trolley.
The newest products in the Middle Aisle of Lidl
However Lidl's lactose-free skimmed milk is not the only dairy product to go flying off shelves recently.
Alpro recently discontinued a popular milk which loyal buyers cried was their "favourite".

The sought-after "This Is Not Milk" cartons were made of oat milk but designed to taste more like dairy - disguising well in a cup of tea.
However a spokesperson for Danone UK and Ireland, makers of Alpro, said: 'While "This Is Not M!lk" was designed to create a more familiar dairy milk taste, our shopper research showed us that many of our consumers enjoy the taste of oat just as much, if not more so.
"As such, we have decided to focus on the great taste of our core oat range while continuing to develop new products that people will love."
Tesco also had to apologise to customers after discontinuing its British Whole Milk 3.408L (6 Pints) in 2023.

Just this year the supermarket giant broke its silence on the disappearance, saying it was "sorry for any disappointment."
A Tesco spokesperson then told The Sun: "We phased out six-pint bottles of milk back in 2023 to reduce wastage, as there were higher levels of waste on that product size."
Other breakfast staples which have been axed include Tesco's own-brand £1.95 Apricot wheats.
And breakfast fans were gutted after realising Aldi's popular Very Berry Muesli has been missing from supermarket shelves.

To keep up to date on discontinued products, as well as new releases, it can be helpful to join local bargain and food-hunting groups on Facebook.

Lidl will soon start selling Stanley cup dupe that's £55 cheaper than the original
LIDL is gearing up to launch a Stanley cup dupe that's £55 cheaper than the original. The discount store's version is almost impossible to tell from the real thing, and it's just £5.99. The Livarno Home Stainless Steel Insulated Mug will be hitting stores from June 22. Just like a Stanley flask, it comes in a Barbie pink shade and has a narrower base to fit in car cup holders. It also has a 2-in-1 lid, which can be used with or without a drinking straw. The body of the flask is double-walled, meaning that it keeps drinks hot or cold. It is also BPA-free, meaning it contains no bisphenol A, which is a synthetic chemical used to make polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins. It's often found in various products, including food and drink containers. It can hold up to 1.2L and comes with a three-year warranty. The lid and straw is also dishwasher safe. Original Stanley flasks range between £30 and £60, making Lidl's product £54.99 cheaper. Stanley travel cups are available to buy directly from Stanley's website and other stockists including Amazon, John Lewis, Urban Outfitters, Fruugo and Foot Asylum for a huge £42-£48. Both flasks have a stainless-steel design, double-wall insulation and multi-function sipper suitable to be used with or without a straw. Stanley unveiled an impressive new 2025 line up earlier this year, sending hydration enthusiasts into a frenzy. Since the Barbie collection took the UK by storm in 2023, Stanley has elevated their game with fresh designs that are both practical and Instagram-worthy. Stanley Quencher cups are available to buy directly from Stanley's website, but there are plenty of other UK stockists you can shop from, including: If you're one of the many Brits coveting your very own Stanley Adventure Quencher cup, we have details of where to shop the must-have cup here in the UK. This comes after Lidl unveiled its own take on Crocs. Set to fly off the shelves like clog-work, the headline act, is a shoe-stopping pair of Lidl Adults' Clogs, which come in the iconic Lidl yellow or bold blue. Priced at just £4.99, with sizes ranging from 3.5 to 11, savvy shoppers of all sizes can tap their toes to the beat in style.
