All eyes now turn to the European scene, with Rangers up against Club Brugge in a crucial Champions League play-off.
The Belgians come to Glasgow on Tuesday, before Martin takes his men to the Jan Breydel Stadium the following Wednesday.
Sandwiched between the tie is a game away to St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.
Rangers withdrew their request to postpone the match earlier this week.
"I think we were told that the option would be there," said Martin. "I think the plan has always been to play the game unless, depending on what happened on Tuesday, if we get through this and all that stuff. So it's been flexible.
"But our league table this early on will not dictate what we do with a game, honestly."

Pundit floored by sensational Hibs moment that outclassed ‘outrageous' strike as he holds Legia play off hope

Disbelief coursed around all corners of Easter Road as the Hibs faithful celebrated one of the most stunning strikes witnessed at their famous old home. With their participation in this season's UEFA Conference League in the balance after Partizan wiped out David Gray's side's two-goal first leg advantage, Scotland striker Kieron Bowie found himself around 40 yards from goal and took centre stage in a pulsating tie. With several options around him, the former Fulham man wasted little time in trying his luck from distance and sent a powerful, looping volley over visitors goalkeeper Marko Milosevic and into his net via the far post. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad The reaction of team-mate Martin Boyle said it all as the Australia international put his hands on his head in utter disbelief over what he had witnessed from Bowie. It was far from the final act in a pulsating night at Easter Road - but it did prove to be a defining moment as it set the foundations for Hibs to progress into a play-off round tie with Legia Warsaw as the two sides meet in the first leg later this week. For pundit Andy Walker, who had a short loan spell at Hibs during his playing career, Bowie's strike was 'sensational' and the former Celtic and Sheffield United striker expressed his hope that David Gray's men could secure safe passage into the league phase of UEFA's tertiary club competition. He told Go Radio: 'I said earlier this week, I don't think I would see a better goal than Ben Brannan, the Kilmarnock volley that was absolutely outrageous. And that one last night from Kieran Bowie. Sensational stuff. So certainly it looks as though Easter Road is a place to be to see some special goals. It'll be a great tie against Legia Warsaw. I really hope Hibs can make that step. I just love to see any of the Scottish clubs that are involved in Europe getting involved in the group stages, the guaranteed European football that takes you up to Christmas and beyond. It's exactly what the players want. The players will learn a lot from it, just as the managers and all the coaching staff will as well.' What did David Gray say about Kieron Bowe's goal for Hibs against Partizan? Hibs head coach David Gray celebrates at the full time whistle | SNS Group Speaking after the game, the Hibs boss said: 'It's a good clearance. No, as I say, take his goal out of it, he was exceptional tonight. Everything he did from the first second onwards, he was a real handful. Everything we've spoken about Kieron before was there again to see. His goal was a special goal for a special night. I spoke about if you win the game tonight, it would be a special night. It doesn't matter how you get through, it would be a special occasion. It was great a goal, probably unfortunate that didn't actually win us the game there and then. So I'm delighted for him on a personal level because of what he's been through.'

Rangers have Nicolas Raskin replacement plan with three player wishlist as record breaking transfer fee 'set'
The midfielder is still highly-rated despite struggling to hold down a regular spot in the side under Russell Martin Rangers have reportedly slapped a £25million price tag on Nicolas Raskin this summer. Wolves are among the clubs who have been closely tracking the Belgian international throughout the summer. Boss Russell Martin left the midfielder out of the starting line up for the recent win over Viktoria Plzn and draw with Dundee, claiming the 24-year-old's head had been turned by transfer speculation. Raskin cost Rangers a little under £1.5million when he arrived two-and-a-half years ago - and Voetbal Primeur now claim that the Ibrox owners will hold out for a record-breaking sale if they are to cash in on the midfielder this summer. Aston Villa, Brighton and Fiorentina are also said to be interested with Standard Liege due 20 percent of the profit Rangers would make on Raskin. Speaking earlier this summer, former Light Blues' interim boss Barry Ferguson state that £15million would have to be the starting point for interested suitors. The fans' favourite was one of the shining lights in an otherwise poor campaign last time around. Raskin's current deal has entered the final two years and the Record Sport columist said: "Nico can play in the Premier League all day long. "I worked with him for three months. He has all the attributes and is still at a brilliant age. "He still has some things he needs to tidy up on, but he understands that. He's got an opinion which I liked. "He's really interested and keen to learn. All day long he can play in the Premier League. Now, Rangers have got to be looking for big money for Nico. I am looking at £15million at least for Nico - and the rest!" Should a sale be made, boss Martin and sporting director Kevin Thelwell will likely look to bolster in the attacking The Ibrox side have been heavily linked with Steaua Bucharest midfielder Darius Olaru in recent windows - and he could still present an option for Rangers. Former Celtic boss Neil Lennon - who spent a brief spell in Romanian football with Rapid Bucharest - was quizzed by Digi Sport on the prospect of the midfielder making a move to Ibrox. He said: "I like Darius Olaru. He's a really good player. It would be interesting to see him play in the UK." Rangers and Celtic have both been linked with a move for West Ham man Andy Irving with a £3.5million valuation floated. Graham Potter handed the Scot minutes on the opening day of the Premier League season as the Hammers were thumped 3-0 by Sunderland - but C&H report the club remain open to sale and are expecting bids soon. Joe Aribo also looks to be heading out of the door at Southampton - and a reunion with Martin at Ibrox and a return to Ibrox could jump start his career. The 29-year-old has remained a fan favourite with the Light Blues' faithful having written his name in Rangers history by netting in the Europa League Final defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt. He has yet to feature for the Saints this season following their Premier League relegation - with boss Will Still explaining the Nigeria international has been given time to explore his options. He told the Daily Echo: "There's been interest around Joe. "I've just tried to give him a bit of headspace, a bit of breathing space to do the right things. We'll just see how that develops over the next few days, a few weeks."
