Eid Al Fitr in Dubai: Top spots to catch stunning fireworks displays; full list of locations
Staying in the UAE for the long Eid Al Fitr weekend? Enjoy the festivities across Dubai with fireworks lighting up the sky almost every night.
UAE residents will get up to five days off to celebrate the Islamic festival Eid Al Fitr, marking the first long holiday of 2025. Depending on when the Moon is sighted, the break will last either four or five days including the weekend.
For those who are staying back in the country, there are plenty of activities, including stunning fireworks locations in Dubai, over the holiday.
Here's where you and your family can watch the fireworks during the upcoming long weekend:
Bluewaters
Planning to enjoy a lovely dinner at a restaurant overlooking the water this weekend? Make sure to look up and enjoy the spectacle in the skies too!
Catch the stunning spectacle on the second day of Eid at 9pm.
Global Village
The popular festival park is transforming into a vibrant spectacle adorned with festive decorations for Eid. Visitors can enjoy daily fireworks displays from Friday, March 28, to Saturday, April 5, 2025.
The spectacles will light up the sky at 10pm during Ramadan nights and return to their regular 9pm timing, from the first day of Eid.
Dubai Parks and Resorts
Who doesn't love a theme park? There are fun rides and dance offs (and performances – live music, dinos dancing) that will have the kids cheering. And come 7.30pm (or 8.30pm or 9.30pm), you can check out a laser show. Stay till 9.30pm for a sparkling sky, for this is when the fireworks will take flight on the first two days of Eid.
Hatta
Even those going on a road trip for a quick escape from the city can enjoy an Eid sky spectacle. If you're going up the majestic mountains of Hatta, don't miss the show.
Catch the display at 8pm on the first day of Eid Al Fitr.
The Beach, JBR
With summer just around the corner, make the most of the last few days of pleasant weather by heading to the beach. If you're planning to see the fireworks at JBR, get there early to secure the best spot.
The show will begin at 9pm on the second day of Eid.
e& Beach Canteen
Going to grab a bite at night? While the e& Beach Canteen is a great choice for some delightful dishes, you can also catch the fireworks while you're there. Skies will light up at 8pm on the first day of Eid.
