Eid Al Fitr in Dubai: Top spots to catch stunning fireworks displays; full list of locations

Khaleej Times27-03-2025
Staying in the UAE for the long Eid Al Fitr weekend? Enjoy the festivities across Dubai with fireworks lighting up the sky almost every night.
UAE residents will get up to five days off to celebrate the Islamic festival Eid Al Fitr, marking the first long holiday of 2025. Depending on when the Moon is sighted, the break will last either four or five days including the weekend.
For those who are staying back in the country, there are plenty of activities, including stunning fireworks locations in Dubai, over the holiday.
Here's where you and your family can watch the fireworks during the upcoming long weekend:
Bluewaters
Planning to enjoy a lovely dinner at a restaurant overlooking the water this weekend? Make sure to look up and enjoy the spectacle in the skies too!
Catch the stunning spectacle on the second day of Eid at 9pm.
Global Village
The popular festival park is transforming into a vibrant spectacle adorned with festive decorations for Eid. Visitors can enjoy daily fireworks displays from Friday, March 28, to Saturday, April 5, 2025.
The spectacles will light up the sky at 10pm during Ramadan nights and return to their regular 9pm timing, from the first day of Eid.
Dubai Parks and Resorts
Who doesn't love a theme park? There are fun rides and dance offs (and performances – live music, dinos dancing) that will have the kids cheering. And come 7.30pm (or 8.30pm or 9.30pm), you can check out a laser show. Stay till 9.30pm for a sparkling sky, for this is when the fireworks will take flight on the first two days of Eid.
Hatta
Even those going on a road trip for a quick escape from the city can enjoy an Eid sky spectacle. If you're going up the majestic mountains of Hatta, don't miss the show.
Catch the display at 8pm on the first day of Eid Al Fitr.
The Beach, JBR
With summer just around the corner, make the most of the last few days of pleasant weather by heading to the beach. If you're planning to see the fireworks at JBR, get there early to secure the best spot.
The show will begin at 9pm on the second day of Eid.
e& Beach Canteen
Going to grab a bite at night? While the e& Beach Canteen is a great choice for some delightful dishes, you can also catch the fireworks while you're there. Skies will light up at 8pm on the first day of Eid.

Al-Khashman illustrated the river, its beautiful trees, stunning nature, and archaeological sites such as Al-Rahba Castle in Mayadin, Sheikh Shibli area, Ain Ali, and the historic city of Al-Asharah (Taraqah). The works highlight the beauty of the region's nature and focus particularly on the ancient cities, architectural details, traditional alleyways, and the charm of classic engineering, evoking a deep nostalgia for the past. The exhibition presents a beautiful visual narrative with skillful use of colour.

Your Career Horoscope for July 26, 2025

Today is a good day to pause, reflect, and gear up for bigger career moves coming your way soon. Find daily astrological predictions for all sun signs for July 26. We recommend reading the horoscopes for your rising sign. Aries Career Horoscope With the Moon still in a playful and creative part of your chart after yesterday's New Moon, this will make it easier to hold back ahead of the Moon's return to your work sector. Even the professional gods are asking that you hold back, with this last visit before Mars leaves set to not only add fuel to his work passions, fighting and competitive spirit, but give you a better sense of where to channel this. Taurus Career Horoscope As much as there is still some tension between the Sun and Pluto and going into the weekend this is putting your work/life balance under pressure, the timing couldn't be better. By tomorrow this will be behind you, but with Mars just 12 days away from your work sector and from kicking off the busiest months of the year, this is the right reminder at the right time. Gemini Career Horoscope When the Moon left your income sector yesterday, this not only left you with a sharp nose for money and a chance in Jupiter's first full day on his own to use this to look to the future with confidence, but with a lot to unpack on the job and career fronts as well. This was a window into forces now locked into place that will not only continue to support Jupiter's quest for income growth and expansion, but will grow over the coming months. Click here to follow our WhatsApp channel for tarot readings, love, health, career, and Chinese horoscopes delivered to your phone daily! Cancer Career Horoscope A day after yesterday's New Moon in your income sector, the Sun and Moon are not only still closely aligned but are both closely connected with the planets in your career sector. The Sun is only just starting to separate from his rare friendly aspect to Saturn and Neptune in your career sector, while the Moon will connect with all five planets there before leaving tomorrow. This is a marshalling of the resources committed to both new and untapped income and professional potential. Leo Career Horoscope After the Moon left your career sector last weekend, something that allowed you to tie up loose ends after six years of planetary activity ended earlier in the month, you are moving into this weekend without cosmic activity in either of your two professional houses. While you have everything needed to stay on track professionally and what was triggered by a Full Moon on the job front earlier in the month is still playing out, without the need to have your work hat on 24/7. Virgo Career Horoscope Until the Sun fully separates from a clash with Pluto that peaked yesterday, they are still in competition. Pluto, to keep your work hat on and the Sun to keep it off. Moving into the weekend will make this easier to pay attention and especially with even the professional gods asking that you hold back, knowing that it is in the heart of the new working week that things are going to come together across the income, work and career fronts. Libra Career Horoscope As well as leaving you with your professional instincts sharp while emotionally and intuitively engaged and aware, the Moon's departure from your career sector yesterday and the Sun two days early means that for the first time since he returned last month, Jupiter is on his own. Until Venus returns next week to focus on what she can exploit and attract now, this is a chance to step back and for a few days, focus on the big picture. Scorpio Career Horoscope The Moon is not only still in your career sector after yesterday's New Moon, but like the Sun, is closely connected with the planets on the job front. While the Sun and Moon are both looking to the future and as a New Moon that has created a lot of forward momentum, with planets in retrograde motion on the job and career fronts, this is giving you better access to the doors also open to the past and untapped potential. Sagittarius Career Horoscope The lead up to the Moon's return to your career sector tomorrow is an important point in each month for having your antennas up while taking a wait and see approach. Knowing that this last visit before Mars leaves will not only add fuel to his professional passions, fighting and competitive spirit but give you a better sense of where to channel this, you can afford to hold back. Capricorn Career Horoscope While Venus is now just six days away from leaving your work sector, a lack of urgency is starting to creep in. Partly because there are planets on the income and job fronts that will keep the momentum going and partly because with the Moon returning to your career sector before she leaves, the best is still to come. With Mars just 12 days away from his first visit to your career sector in two years, this will add to ongoing support across the income, work and career fronts. Aquarius Career Horoscope A day after the Moon and three days after the Sun left your work sector, for the first time since returning early last month Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion is on his own. However, only for six days, with a chance to step back and focus on the big picture and on Jupiter's 12 month quest for job growth and expansion before Venus' return next week will bring the element of luck and the laws of attraction together. Pisces Career Horoscope The Moon is not only still in your work sector after yesterday's New Moon, but like the Sun, is still closely connected to the planets in your income sector, most of them in retrograde motion. With Mercury in retrograde motion in your work sector, his alignment with the Moon today will add to a locking together of not just income and job potential, but both new and untapped potential.
