HUGE WIN: Michele Tafoya Reacts to Olympics Banning Trans Athletes From Women's Events

Fox News6 days ago
Former longtime NFL sideline reporter Michele Tafoya, now host of The Michele Tafoya Podcast, joined The Guy Benson Show today to preview the upcoming NFL season and what fans should (and shouldn't) take away from the NFL preseason as training camps kick off. Tafoya and Benson also discussed the Olympic Committee's new policy banning biological men from competing in women's events, and this move aligns the Olympics with Donald Trump's policies ahead of the 2028 Olympics. Finally, the pair discussed the growing visibility of jealousy within the WNBA toward Caitlin Clark, as the young phenom continues to elevate the league's profile. Listen to the full interview below.

Raiders sign Kolton Miller to 3-year, $66 million extension, AP source says

HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — Kolton Miller, one of the NFL's top left tackles, signed a three-year, $66 million extension with the Las Vegas Raiders, with $42.5 million guaranteed, a person with knowledge of the contract said Wednesday. That person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the terms were not announced. The Raiders announced only an extension has been signed. Miller, the 15th overall pick of the 2018 draft out of UCLA, has been one of the NFL's top left tackles. He started all 17 games last season, allowing quarterback pressures on 9.8% of passing plays, ninth lowest among tackles with at least 600 snaps. He also has been penalized 2.8% of all snaps since 2018, second lowest among all tackles over that time. Miller entered training camp with just one year left on his contract, but decided to practice rather than hold out. 'I want to be a Raider for life,' Miller said last month during minicamp. 'I love it here. I don't want to go anywhere else. I only know one way to do it, and that's showing up getting better each day.' ___ AP NFL:

The Dallas Wings are one of the bottom three teams in the WNBA this season, but rookie guard Paige Bueckers has been the team's lone bright spot. The 23-year-old No. 1 overall pick is Dallas' leading scorer (18.2 points per game), and she also leads the team in assists (5.5 per game), steals (1.9 per game), and minutes per night (34.4). In Wednesday's 88-85 loss to the Atlanta Dream, Bueckers put forth another strong performance, only strengthening her case for Rookie of the Year. The UConn alum logged a game-high 21 points, seven assists, two rebounds, and a steal, and she wrote her name in the WNBA record book in the process. "Paige Bueckers now has the most games by a rookie in WNBA history with: 20+ PTS, 5+ AST, 0 TOV," Polymarket Hoops wrote on X. But that wasn't the only record Bueckers attained on Wednesday. She also matched a historic feat accomplished by WNBA legend Cynthia Cooper.
