The Algarve party resort of Albufeira has gone to war against boozy tourists and slapped new rules to curb alcohol-fueled debauchery.

Enraged City Hall officials on Friday approved huge new penalties of up to £3,375 for holidaymakers flouting a strict new 'good behaviour' code.
Hefty fines will now be imposed for everything from urinating in the street to getting naked.
The rules will kick in within weeks, in time for the summer season, aiming to curb anti-social behaviour.
And locals hope they will turn the tide, with nakedness, vomiting in the street and having sex in public all now coming at a heavy price.
Badly behaved tourists who go starkers in public, or get caught bonking or simulating sex, face paying anything from £1,685 to £3,375.
Spitting or urinating in the street will be punished with fines of between £125 and £630.
And entering bars and other businesses topless could lead to a £1,250 levy.
Bars and cafes which let customers in without the proper dress code will also be fined.
Brit tourists were first warned about the new get-tough rules in February when Albufeira's mayor Jose Carlos Rolo announced the "Code of Conduct" plans.
Last summer, a group of partying Brit tourists put on a shocking display of public nudity, leaving the locals fuming.

Footage of their drunken antics, showing them starkers on their knees in a line on top of a bar counter, went viral.
Rolo called the display 'deeply negative' and said he would call for police reinforcements.
He said last night: "Tourists who fall down drunk aren't needed here at all."
Predictably, Albufeira is fast becoming the go-to spot for young revellers looking for a boozy break.
During The Sun's investigation into tourist revelry in the town, we saw how cops and medics are already patrolling the mile-long strip — nicknamed 'The Chaos' by locals — to keep a firm eye on the crazy, drunken antics of holidaymakers.
Little wonder some end up in a terrible state, as girls are plied with free drinks at many pubs in a bid to lure in paying lads, while every bar offers shots from £1.70.
Local taxi driver Guilherme, 25, told The Sun: 'Stay here more than one night and you'll see tourists having sex in the street. Sometimes it's groups of naked men on balconies. It's shocking.'
Furious locals decided to bring in the new code of conduct after a group of British louts got naked on a bar top and proceeded to crawl around in broad daylight last year.

It comes as a 21-year-old Brit was found dead at the foot of a set of steps in Albufeira's old town last Wednesday.
Cops are said to believe booze is behind the tragedy.
The news, which emerged on Saturday, came days after reveller Greg Monks, 38, from Glasgow, was found dead in a ravine near Albufeira.
He was there on a stag do and had left the party early to return to his hotel when it is thought he jumped over a wall while drunk, unaware there was a steep drop on the other side. He was missing for a week.
The fatalities shine an unwelcome light on the more dangerous and seedier side of the Algarve resort.
Once marketed as a family-friendly getaway, now a much younger crew of holidaymakers is descending on the cobbled streets, turning it into a nocturnal party town.

Jamie-Lee Arrow, the daughter of 'Skara Cannibal' Isakin Drabbad, has opened up about her stepmother Helle Christensen's final chilling message before she was butchered in her own home A woman has opened up about the "misery" of growing up with her cannibal father, who committed one of the most atrocious murders in Swedish history. In November 2010, Isakin Drabbad, now 46, slaughtered his girlfriend Helle Christensen by slitting her throat. He then decapitated her and cut away pieces of flesh from her limbs, which he cooked in salt and cannabis leaves before devouring them. Helle was just 40 years old when she met her horrific end at the hands of her partner, who remains known as the notorious "Skara Cannibal". Drabbad later confessed to the brutal murder and was remanded to a psychiatric hospital following his 2011 conviction. The crime continues to haunt the historic city of Skara, Sweden, and, for Drabbad's daughter Jamie-Lee Arrow, memories of life with her Satan-obsessed father remain all too vivid. In a new interview with The Sun, Jamie-Lee, who was just nine years old at the time of her stepmother's murder, recalled how Drabbad and Helle had been embroiled in a fierce 24-hour fight beforehand. Sharing her beloved stepmother's final words to her over a fraught family dinner, Jamie-Lee told the publication: '[She said]: 'Enjoy your meal because this is the last time I will cook for you... because Isakin is going to kill me'." It was Jamie Lee's mother who broke the devastating news, and she remembers them both "crying and screaming" as they grappled to come to terms with what had happened. As shared by Jamie Lee, her parents split up when she was still a toddler, and so she split her time between her mum's and dad's separate homes. Entering her dad's apartment, which contained pictures of Friday the 13th and Freddy Krueger, felt "like walking into a horror movie". Drabbad had a dark obsession with the occult and even tried to get his own daughter involved. Jamie-Lee remembered: 'He often talked about the devil, demons and evil spirits, and when I was little, he liked to introduce me to the other side. 'We would lay in the dark on the bed and he would go, 'Do you see the faces on the wall, can you see them?' Then he would say it so much I would actually start seeing them.' He would gift her sinister presents, including a satanic bible, and even a Voodoo Doll when she complained about being bullied. Helle's death left Jamie-Lee completely traumatised. She began drinking at an early age and dropped out of school at 15, unable to pursue her childhood dreams of becoming a doctor. Thankfully, at 23, mum-of-two Jamie-Lee has managed to turn her life around, and is now looking forward to marrying her partner of five years. A public speaker and author, Jamie-Lee now inspires others to find a more positive path after enduring serious challenges. Sharing her philosophy on life, Jamie-Lee continued: 'Just because your childhood sucked doesn't mean your entire life has to. We have the power over our own lives and we can create something beautiful even if we came from something ugly.' In a recent two-hour episode of Evil Lives Here: The Killer Speaks, which aired back in April, a tearful Jamie-Lee was seen bravely confronting her father, telling him: "Do you know how much you have to love someone to still want to see the person who is scaring you to death?" Drabbad replied: "I think it's extremely difficult to have me in your life. You can only see heaven from hell ... I look at you from hell. And I'm sorry." Detailing her motivation for wanting to be on the show at the time the episode aired, Jamie-Lee told People: "I want people to understand the darkness I came from and that I actually managed to get myself out from under it. I still struggle with feeling like I am my own person and that my dad has got nothing to do with who I am.' Drabbad has now been released from the mental institution, but remains under its supervision. He now hopes for full freedom.

A growing number of people in the UK are believed to be switching to illegal streaming devices, but the Federation Against Copyright Theft has warned that this could lead to users having their ID stolen or their credit card details handed to criminals. According to The Mirror, one mobile number was used for over 800 Facebook posts, with Brits urged to contact the number via WhatsApp to get their hands on the illegal piece of tech. Some posts advertised all Sky channels plus streaming sites such as Netflix and Disney Plus for as little as £2.50 a month. In comparison, if you were to pay for Sky Sports, it would set you back by at least £50 a month. Some dodgy sellers are even claiming that their service is legal, with one fraudster claiming to be from a company called IPTV. They claimed that the company is a "online service to provide channels on Fire Stick, smart TVs, android TVs, mobile phone as well." However, IPTV is just a general term for Internet Protocol Television. And although may Brits are tempted by the budget prices of these illegal devices, the criminals providing them may end up in jail before they've had a chance to follow through on the deal.
