'I found a 50p zero calorie drink better than Fanta or Sprite'
DASH water is made with wonky fruit to fight food waste and to celebrate a new flavour launch, shoppers can nab 50% off their first order
Tired of plain water and looking to reduce my intake of sugary fizzy drinks, I was on the hunt for a refreshing alternative that would still provide the same pleasure you get from cracking open a chilled can of Coke, Sprite or Fanta. That's when I discovered DASH water at the supermarket.
Ever since trying it, it's become a staple in my home fridge, offering a healthier option that's far more exciting than regular sparkling water. DASH water is a flavoured sparkling water, crafted with spring water and misshapen fruit as part of an effort to combat food waste. Each can is free of sugar, sweeteners and calories, yet still delivers a fruity flavour and fizz.
Having consumed a can nearly every day, I've sampled all the available flavours, including lime, grapefruit, peach and raspberry. Excitingly, the brand is set to launch a new flavour on May 12. To mark the occasion, customers can get a 50% discount using the code SAVEME50 until May 11, after which the code DSH30 will offer new customers a 30% discount, reports the Express.
This deal, available exclusively to first-time customers on the DASH website, allows shoppers to grab a box of cans at half price. The sparkling water trial pack includes 16 330ml cans of peach, grapefruit, lime and raspberry flavours, reduced to £12.50, making each can less than 80p.
Alternatively, you can mix and match 48 cans of your preferred flavours. This would usually cost £48, but with the code SAVEM50, it comes down to £24. That's a remarkable 50p per can.
While the taste of DASH water may tantalise some taste buds, it's not a universal pleaser; as my partner found the flavour too faint, expressing a preference for a bolder fruity kick. Over at Twinings, the Sparkling Tea blends lemonade with hibiscus for a refreshing twist at £12.99 for a dozen.
In another offer, Amazon is serving up the Aqua Libra Sparkling Water, Sugar Free Fruit Water in a mouth-watering Watermelon and Strawberry combo, available to shoppers for £14.39 for a 24-pack.
Praise pours in for DASH water, which boasts a commendable 4.8 out of five-star average rating from over 1,000 customers. Satisfied sippers are chiming in with approval, with one declaring: "Very refreshing drinks and such great flavours. My favourite is orange and really quenches your thirst and so tasty. Bonus is no calories so can drink without having to count calories."
Others can't seem to get enough, with another elated customer writing: "Absolutely love my dash water. Favourites are peach, mango and lime. So refreshing and also make a great spritzer added to some white wine." Echoing my own sentiments, a fellow fan revealed: "Really refreshing! I have these instead of a can of Pepsi with lunch now and love it."
Meanwhile, a five-star supporter divulged: "I absolutely love these drinks. Lime and pink grapefruit are my favourite flavours. Buy 72 a month on a subscription and always drink them all. Five stars for sure."
As we eagerly await the warmer months, snagging the DASH water deal could be consumer's ticket to refreshing bliss and a chance to sip on the latest concoction while saving money – a snazzy swap for the usual sugary sodas.

Gardeners told easy way to get bigger and better hydrangeas with kitchen scrap
Hydrangeas are one of the most popular summer flowers in the UK, and now there is an easy way to get bigger and more abundant blooms without spending a penny at all Hydrangea flowers truly dazzle in the summertime, and there's a simple trick to achieve even more spectacular and plentiful blooms without spending a penny. Gardening expert Katie Femia, founder of The Homespun Hydrangea, has explained that orange peels can be transformed into a homemade fertiliser - giving acid-loving plants like hydrangeas a significant boost. She explained: "Orange peels will help feed the soil and create a healthy foundation for your plants. Plus, orange peels are great for your budget since they offer you FREE food." Packed with nutrients beneficial to hydrangeas such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, orange peels can aid in cultivating larger and more robust blooms. Hydrangeas have a preference for slightly acidic soil conditions to flourish, and orange peels not only enhance soil quality but can also affect the hue of the blossoms, turning them an exceptionally vivid blue. Yet, perhaps one of the greatest advantages of using orange peels as fertiliser during the summer months is their strong scent, which can deter a variety of pests with highly sensitive noses. Oranges have long been recognised as a natural and harmless deterrent against garden invaders like aphids, ants, rodents, and even cats, , reports the Express. What you'll need: Start by collecting orange peels in a container or bowl, and once you've amassed a sufficient amount, give them a rinse to wash away any potential chemicals lingering on the peels. Place wax paper on a baking tray to keep the orange peels from adhering to the tray, then spread the peels out in a single layer without piling them up. Heat your oven to a low setting, such as 140C, pop the tray into the oven, and allow the orange peels to bake for approximately 90 to 120 minutes. Katie shared: "I like to check on the peels every 30 minutes to see how they are doing. This way you can see if they are ready to come out or need a little more time. Oh, and the house will start to smell really good during the drying process! In about two hours, you will have orange chips." Following the cooking process, it's time to transform the peels into an ultra-fine fertiliser. Pulverise them using either a food processor or the old-fashioned way by placing them in a sandwich bag and giving them a good pounding with a rolling pin. Once pulverised, transfer the peels into a sealable container and sprinkle the contents around your hydrangeas or bury them beside the plants. Katie added: "In no time, your soil will be soaking this stuff right up! It will enrich the soil and add to the acidity, making your plants thrive!"

I turned my drab kitchen into a home using £12 bargain from Temu – people can't believe how good it looks
A SAVINGS-savvy homeowner shared impressive before-and-after snaps of her kitchen after nabbing a Temu bargain. Tracy Davies rid herself of her unsightly tiles with a handy £12 fix. 3 Using stick-on tiles from Temu, this kitchen has been given a makeover Credit: Facebook 3 These were the original tiles in Tracy's kitchen Credit: Facebook Using peel-and-stick tiles from the bargain website, she completely transformed the space. "From painted tiles which I absolutely hated to stick on times from Temu," she wrote on the DIY On a Budget Official Facebook page. "A massive improvement," she added. Tracy's bog-standard white square tiles have been covered with large, marble-style tile stickers, which give the kitchen a modern feel. Fellow home hackers were shocked by the difference the simple solution made. "Would love to do this, looks lovely," one wrote. "These look great, I'm going to look into getting these," another said. "I also used the stick on tiles to cover up ugly tiles in my kitchen," a third wrote. The good news is that the stickers are easy to apply, and no grout is needed. I wanted a panelled room but wasn't going to spend loads so risked it & bought £36 strips from Temu - I saved a fortune If you want to give your kitchen or bathroom some TLC, Temu offers a huge variety of stick on tiles in different colours and styles. Amazon, Dunelm and B&Q also sell packs of tile stickers. The tiles on Amazon range from £8 to £20, while at Dunelm prices start from £18. It's not just stick-on tiles that have home fixers jumping for joy - there are even self-adhesive wood panels to add a little extra style to any room. Betty, a content creator from the UK who is currently renovating her home, used dado rails to panel her hallway - and it left many open-mouthed. But while many were stunned and thought the DIY project was incredibly 'impressive', others thought it made Betty's home look 'dated'. Alongside her short social media clip, the brunette, who often shares beginner-friendly DIY tips and tricks online, beamed: 'This is your sign to panel your hallway.' She then added: 'If you're going to make one update to your hallway for maximum impact then let it be this! 'This has to be the panelling project that I'm most proud of (mainly because I finally tackled those angles).' Betty claimed that 'preparation is key' when it comes to panelling, as she pre-marked each location to ensure it looked neat once complete. She later revealed that she got the dado rails as part of a traditional stair panelling kit from Roomix. As well as adding panelling to her hallway, which Betty coated in Dulux Egyptian Cotton paint, she also painted the top of her walls in the shade White Mist from Dulux.
