It's none other than the Mirzapur star Pankaj Tripathi.
Netizens on social media have been suggesting Pankaj Tripathi's name as a replacement to Paresh Rawal in Hera Pheri 3. Well, when asked the Gangs Of Wasseypur actor what he has to revert to this, he simply quashed the rumours and said, 'That is something I have also heard and read. I don't believe in it.' He added, 'Paresh ji is an amazing actor. I am zero in front of him. I respect him a lot. I don't think I am the right person for the role,' Pankaj Tripathi was quoted while speaking to Bollywood Hungama.
While announcing his exit from Hera Pheri 3, Paresh Rawal took to X (formerly known as twitter) account on May 18 and wrote, 'I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER . I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director.'

However, the matter escalated after Akshay Kumar, his Heri Pheri 3 co-star sent a legal notice to him through his production house Cape of Good Films, demanding Rs 25 crore for his abrupt withdrawal from the film. The production house also claimed that Rawal was paid Rs 11 lakh, and never addressed any issues about creative differences during his association with the film.
Their statement further added that Hera Pheri 3 shoot began on April 3, 2025, and about three minutes of footage was shot with Rawal. They have accused him of an 'abrupt, unilateral, and mala fide' exit from Hera Pheri 3.
