Here are ways to have some family fun for less.
CONSIDER A PASS: You will usually find the best-priced tickets by booking online and in advance.
If you have a paid attraction near you that you enjoy, annual passes that allow multiple visits or give money off can also work out as exceptionally good value.
Keep an eye out as some venues offer passes at sale prices, often around January or Black Friday in November.
The National Art Pass is currently £20 for three months and gives half-price entry to a host of exhibitions and sites across the UK such as Kensington Palace.
You'd only need to use it around two or three times to make your money back.
CHECK YOUR PHONE: Look at what you can get as extra customer perks through your utility providers.
O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers can tap into offers every Monday through the Blue Mondays scheme with Priority from O2.
Recent drops have included a half-price 'day out with the kids' VIP pass which unlocks children-go-free and two-for-one offers.

VERY BENEFICIAL: If you're on Universal Credit or other selected benefits, you can get cut-price entry to a range of attractions often for as little as £1 or even free.
But you will usually need to book in advance to take advantage.
Contact the admissions office or check websites for the special tickets.
London Zoo, the Eden Project in Cornwall and Hampton Court Palace are just some of the places where you can get cheap tickets.
TRAVEL BY TRAIN: If you're travelling for a day out by train, you can get two-for-one and other discounts at attractions across the UK, including the Roald Dahl Museum in Buckinghamshire and the Brighton Toy and Model Museum.

Primark's 90p summer holiday essential will help you pass every hand luggage liquid check without even buying miniatures
PACKING for a holiday is not an easy task, especially for us women. Many of us want to save money by only using carry-on luggage, but it can cause a crisis for many of us. 3 3 Not only do we have to squeeze in multiple outfits, there's also the issue of trying to fit all of your toiletries in. And if you are just using carry-on luggage the task will be even harder thanks to the liquid limit being just 1 litre. Each product has to be 100ml or less and to make matters worse, it has to fit in one of those tiny plastic bags the airport provides, and limit it to one bag per passenger. That leaves many of us having to choose which of our daily essentials make the cut, from leaving your favourite shampoo at home to ditching your foundation for the week. Too many times we have been caught out by the liquid limitations and had to throw away a face cream or shower gel before making it through security. Fortunately, Primark has offered a solution to ensure all of your toiletries fit. The budget-friendly retailer is offering a pack of four silicone travel jars for just £4.50. Each jar costs just 90p and means you won't have to leave your favourite beauty buys behind or fork out for miniature editions. The jars come in four different sizes, meaning you can use the smaller one for foundation and the bigger one for body cream. The silicone material also makes them bendable so they can be squeezed into the plastic bag with no problems. PRIMANIA It's not the only holiday buy Primark shoppers are going wild for. The bargain retail giant has super-sized the floral trend with its oversized hibiscus print co-ord. The cropped mesh top is priced at just £8 while the matching midi skirt will only set you back £12. And fashion fans have insisted the cowl neck cut and loud print are a throwback to the 90s, while the lightweight material is perfect for the sunshine. Both pieces are available in sizes XXS to XL and come in black or pink with a red floral pattern. And fashionistas have already been going wild for it, as one gushed: "Lovely for a night out." "I need one for hols", wrote a second. Holiday packing tips Jemma Solomon, aka The Label Lady has got 5 packing tips to help you get organised for your next holiday. 1. Write a list Think about all the essentials you need to take with you; suncream, medicine, a few games for the kids, beach towels, and write everything in one list, which you can tick off as you add it to your suitcase. Or for complete ease, try Google's AI app - Gemini - which will create a list for you and help you not over pack. 2. Involve your kids Jemma said: 'My girls are getting older, they're 11 and nine, and they enjoy helping to pack. So I send them a list, and say 'this is what you need' and they follow the list. 'And then I give them a rucksack each - and say to them 'you can have whatever you want in there as long as it's not liquid', and they can take that on the plane. And that's their 'home away from home' items.' 3. Try a hack or two She said: "I think they all work, but for different reasons - and you've just got to pick the right one for your trip. "Rolling your clothes is really good to stop your clothes from getting creases. And if you're trying to get a lot of items into your case, it's a space saver. 'Packing cubes are great - for example, I'm going on holiday with my three kids and we're all using the same suitcase for our clothes. "These handy compartments let you separate your clothes, toiletries and tech into designated cubes, maximising luggage space by keeping your items compressed and neatly stacked. "I love taking them abroad with the family and it means my kids can easily take charge of their own items once we've arrived." 4. Decant beauty products Do you really need to take full-size bottles of shampoo and conditioner with you? The beauty industry has evolved so much, you can now buy shampoo bars or sheets - which are much lighter and smaller. Or, if you'll be popping to the shops when you're abroad, consider buying some items when you arrive. 5. Get organised before you come home Jemma said: 'When you repack on holiday [before coming home], the trick is to separate clean from dirty clothes. 'Also pack it in some form of order - so lights, darks, colours for items that need washing, or if you wash your clothes by person in the household, piles for each person. "Then you can put it straight into the washing machine. Do it straight away, don't leave it."

Great Wolf Resorts is hoping to build a huge waterpark on the site of a golf course along with a hotel and adventure park complex - and work is set to start in 2028. There will also be an adventure trail, an arcade and bowling alley alongside the indoor waterpark. The waterpark itself will have multiple swimming pools and water slides where temperatures will be kept at 29C so it can be used all year round. On the site will also be restaurants, cafés and bars too. The website says that all the amenities will be available for local families to enjoy with day passes. The company behind the proposed waterpark is Great Wolf Resorts which operates 20 indoor water park resorts across the US and Canada. The Great Wolf Resort request states that the 'anticipated start of construction' for the resort has been set for 2028, with an 'expected duration of approximately two years'. The company has not set an exact date for the construction or the opening of the resort - but it could be open by 2030. It stated that it was 'reviewing multiple potential locations' which it has a 'strong interest in developing'. A spokesperson for Great Wolf Resorts said: "We've been exploring opportunities to expand our signature Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park resort experience beyond North America and we see exciting growth potential for Great Wolf Lodge in the UK. "We believe our resort would act as a catalyst for growth for the area, creating over 600 new, high-quality jobs and attracting more than half a million visitors to the borough each year, providing a significant economic boost and encouraging other leisure operators to invest in the area.' The area in Basingstoke isn't the only one that Great Wolf Resorts has its eye on.
