Brooklyn Park police searching for 15-year-old girl last seen Saturday

Police in the northern Twin Cities metro are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl.
The Brooklyn Park Police Department says Makayla Makor was last seen on Saturday, leaving the 7300 block of Douglas Drive North. She was wearing a long black dress and pink Crocs.
Makayla Makor, 15, was last seen on July 5, 2025, leaving the 7300 block of Douglas Drive North in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
Brooklyn Park Police Department
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension describes Makor as 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who has seen or knows the whereabouts of Makor is asked to contact the Brooklyn Park Police Department at 763-493-8222 or call 911.
Another girl went missing from Brooklyn Park on Friday. Carissa Lindstrom, 17, was last seen less than a mile away from Makor's last known location. Police have not said if there's any connection between the two girls' disappearances.

The 911 call was reportedly in reference to a 'possible' firework that was 'discharged' in the basement of the home. Improperly thrown away fireworks leads to garage fire in Fond du Lac home When authorities arrived, black smoke and flames were seen coming from the basement. OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities launched a homicide investigation after a man was found stabbed to death near Oshkosh's Menominee Park on Saturday night. Officers with the Oshkosh Police Department say the stabbing happened inside Menominee Park in the 1200 block of East Irving Avenue in Oshkosh. Man flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries after head-on collision in Outagamie County Around 11 p.m. on July 5, officers were initially called to a crash in the 900 block of East Irving Avenue, where they found a man with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Further investigation revealed a fight taking place between 'several' people who were at Menominee Park. Officers say that is when the fight escalated, leading to the man being stabbed. The Fond du Lac Police Department later helped to arrest a 19-year-old man from Fond du Lac for first-degree intentional homicide. HARTFORD, Wis. (WFRV) – Several people were hospitalized after a reported explosion started a fire at an eastern Wisconsin manufacturing facility on Thursday morning. Around 5:45 a.m. on July 3, Hartford first responders were called to Signicast, a manufacturing facility in the Dodge Industrial Park on Innovation Way, for a fire. Dispatch was initially told that there were reports of several injured people and an alleged explosion. The first crew to arrive spotted smoke from the roof and an open overhead door, with multiple employees standing outside. Man stabbed to death at Oshkosh's Menominee Park after large fight, teen arrested Two seriously hurt victims were immediately taken to a local hospital as crews worked to put out the fire in the building, which was reportedly impacting multiple locations of the facility. In total, five victims were treated for injuries, three of whom were hospitalized. Flight of Life was used for one of the victims who was transported in critical condition.
