Within hours, he posted a sprawling rhyme spree on the platform formerly known as Twitter. He listed dozens of near and slant rhymes for the difficult word. McNutt, known for her coverage of the WNBA, has been branching out into other sports and other roles at the network. On Friday, McNutt served as a guest host of ESPN's "First Take." While McNutt was part of a two-hour show, it was a 30-second clip, featuring comedian Druski and Stephen A. Smith, that made all of the headlines - and for very good reason. The ESPN personality did not appear to know who Barry Sanders is. She made an embarrassing blunder while referencing Druski's No. 20 Detroit Lions jersey, which he wore on the show. McNutt went viral when she referred to Druski's No. 20 Detroit Lions Barry Sanders jersey as something related to Shedeur Sanders. 'The jersey, obviously this ties to one Shedeur Sanders..." she said before being interrupted. "No, no, no, no, no," Druski replied, clearly confused. "This is, uh, Barry Sanders." ESPN makes a decision on McNutt on Monday While Molly Qerim remains out for ESPN's "First Take," the network decided to go in a different direction for guest host on Monday, August 18. McNutt was not part of the first 90 minutes of the program on Monday. It's unclear if she wasn't previously scheduled or if this was in reaction to her on-air blunder last week. Regardless, she was not part of the program on Monday morning, August 18. Monday morning's show featured Stephen A. Smith, Dan Orlovsky, Adam Schefter, Mike Tannebaum and others. Fans calling for more changes at ESPN In the wake of McNutt's blunder, fans are calling for more changes at ESPN. Fans want to hear from the people who really know the sport they are talking about. We don't need NFL analysts talking about the NBA or WNBA analysts not understanding who Barry Sanders is. "This is Monica McNutt. She works for ESPN and doesn't know who Barry Sanders is. How is it possible an employee at ESPN doesn't know who that is? I think I know the answer, do you?" one fan wrote. "And they wonder why ratings are down…" one fan added. "ESPN used to have the best sports media personalities. Also, McNutt once said Caitlin Clark is popular because she's white…" one fan added. McNutt has sparked controversy in the past McNutt, who is mostly known for covering the WNBA, once said that Caitlin Clark is popular, at least in part, due to her race. 'I think Caitlin represented — and again, some of this to me probably is not fair to her, because it was not anything that she said or was truly based on her personality — but she was a white girl from the middle of America,' McNutt told BBC. 'And so she represented a whole lot to many people, whether that is indeed what she ascribed to or not. McNutt added: 'We can all say she's a dynamic basketball player and a force both on the court and in a marketing sense. But I do think the same thing applies to folks who may have fallen in love with Angel Reese; she may or may not have agreed with everything they had to say, either. This Rap Star's Daughter Just Launched a Home Reno Series That HGTV Fans Will LOVE

In the four-episode show, totaling about 50 minutes, the 29-year-old renovates her best friend's house in her hometown of Detroit. The result? The ultimate 'sad beige' home of her friend's dreams. Scott's passion for interior design began when she moved into her college dorm at Michigan State. 'I became obsessed with making that little space feel like home,' she said in a press release. 'Over the years, from my first apartment to renovating my own house, built in the '90s, I realized how much I love the entire process of transforming a living space.' Soon, the calls from Scott's friends came in, asking for her help (and her design eye). House Beautiful caught up with the creative to discuss her design style, which room is her favorite to design, and plans for her home renovation series. : What inspired you to film this series? Hailie Jade Scott: The inspiration behind Just a Little Reno came from a mix of passion and purpose. I've always been deeply passionate about interior design, and when my best friend and podcast co-host bought her first home, it felt like the perfect opportunity to showcase that passion in a meaningful way. I wanted to create something that went beyond Instagram, TikTok, or even the podcast as a space where people could see more of who I am, what I love to do, and how I approach design and storytelling. The show is a spin-off of Just a Little Shady, our podcast, and felt like a natural extension of that; real, personal, and full of heart—just with a few power tools and paint swatches thrown in. At its core, Just a Little Reno is about friendship, creativity, and stepping into new spaces, literally and figuratively. : Do you plan to take on more interior design projects in the future? HJS: Yes, this is definitely just the beginning. I've been helping friends and family with smaller design projects for a while now—things like home offices, bedrooms, and little refreshes here and there. But those weren't filmed. Just a Little Reno was the first time I documented the full process, and I absolutely loved it. I plan to take on more projects in the future and bring people along for the ride. Brittany's house was just the first. I'm excited to keep sharing more of my design work, creativity, and life beyond the podcast and social media in general. : Do you think you'd continue your series on YouTube? HJS: Well… unless a certain streaming platform or network wants to give me a call, then yes, YouTube is where the next series will live! I'd love to see the show picked up and brought to a bigger audience someday, but for now, YouTube is the perfect place to keep the projects coming. : Do you have a favorite room to design? HJS: I'd have to say the living room and kitchen are my favorite rooms to design. They're the heart of the home where people spend the most time, make memories, and connect with others. I love creating spaces that feel personal, warm, and truly reflective of the people who live there. There's something so rewarding about helping someone feel completely at home in the space they use every day. : Did you grow up watching home renovation TV shows, or do you watch any currently? HJS: I actually got into home renovation shows in college, and they've basically been on in the background ever since. They're always playing at my house, whether I'm working, relaxing, or just need some good inspiration. It's like design therapy for me at this point! : How would you describe your design style? HJS: I'd describe my design style as modern organic—clean, light, and bright with a warm, natural touch. I love incorporating wood tones and plenty of white to keep things fresh and airy, then bringing in life and texture through greenery and natural elements.
